This came about after I entered to win a 3D model of the Plaza Tower on their instagram and actually won it! Seamus was so kind as to meet me at Cicada on the weekend to let me see the studio and collect my model. I was beyond excited to do both! There were so many moving parts to our project. Kelly helped with almost every facet of the project. Does Kelly Sutton have great taste? Probably. Sutton House looks really cool and that's her style. But if you check out our house, it's not to Kelly's style. It's ours. Sutton helps you find your own style. In my case, Sutton politely and smartly ignored most of my style (imagine dogs playing poker) and helped Shari V find hers. They are a good combination. I thought interior designers helped with paint colors, throw pillows and things like that. KS completely changed my perspective. For example, house plans. Sutton was intimately involved with the design of the house. She had tons of input on space, flow, lighting, plumbing. And house design is just one example. Sutton was helped us think about things that only industry insiders know to worry about. We are at the tail end of long project.
