The person I spoke with responded with a very rude attitude, saying, "I'm on my way. I'm not that far from you now, and it's only an estimated time." I calmly asked why he was speaking to me that way. He replied, "If I was giving you an attitude, I'd cancel you." As I began to respond and ask, "You're going to cancel...," he hung up on me before I could finish my sentence and immediately canceled the service request. I called back right away, but my calls were sent directly to voicemail. I'm not sure if he was simply having a bad day, but after reading other reviews, it appears that similar experiences have been reported by other customers. That is concerning, especially when people are already dealing with the stress of needing roadside assistance. In the end, the cancellation was perfectly fine with me. After the way I was treated, I would not have felt comfortable or confident having this company tow my vehicle.
