I tried to leave a private review on their website, but I got the message, "Sorry. This form is…read moreclosed to new submissions." So you get a public review for your crappy service this morning, @LabCorp. I had an 8 AM appointment so that I could get to work. I arrived at 7:50 am . By the time the employee opened the door at 8 AM, there were already seven or eight people in line waiting. There was apparently only one employee. I felt bad that she had to manage the check-in and do the phlebotomy I wasn't called until 8:20 am. The problem with having one person do it all is that they're rushed. She did minimal sanitization on my blood draw site, and she apparently was in enough of a hurry that she punctured the vein on the other side and left me with a purple lump. I've had plenty of blood draws and never had one that looked like that. I went to LabCorp because I was getting over $700 worth of labs drawn, and that's where the company had sent me. LabCorp did not engender confidence in me. My experience with Quest in Blue Springs has been significantly more professional.

The Dr. said he sent the blood work order over. (I was a bit rattled, maybe a lot when the Dr…read more discussed the possibilities of my bloodwork.) Anyway she asked the Dr's name (he was a specialist first appt). I said "I left in the car" I brought a piece of paper that the Dr. wrote my next appt. "Thats not a work order" (I knew that, I could read ) One gal said "let me see what we can do!" (I loved that verbiage! Helpful) The other one at the desk mispronounced my name. If you don't know how, why not say the last name? I was embarrassed , I felt like I was talked to condescending. I drove back to my Dr.s office lab to give blood. I was treated very nicely, thankyou God! I wish people would be treated better. I dont think people are looking forward to a blood draw. It would be nice if there was kindness, not laughing. Thanks for listening.
