She was Awesome! I got highlights, color touch up and a haircut. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her! She is new in town but the 26 years of experience absolutely shows. My hair looks amazing!!

This is for the stylist, not for Scout's in general. I had…read morea 4:15 appointment with Robyn Clark. I waited as she had someone before me. At least 6 or 7 others came in after me in the course of 35 minutes or so and were all taken to get their haircut. At this point it was 4:45 when she FINALLY finished cutting the persons hair in her chair. Instead of taking me right after or even coming over to apologize for running late, she took her phone and went off somewhere. That's when I got up and asked the girl at the desk why is it taking so long, she apologized and said it won't be much longer. At that point, I didn't want this stylist to cut my hair any longer. After making me wait at least 30 to 40 minutes and I don't know how much longer it would have been before she decided to finally be ready to cut my hair, I left. Completely unprofessional!! You make an appointment for a reason, I can understand running a bit late, but this was so ridiculous!! Would definitely NOT recommend having your haircut by this stylist Robyn, she couldn't care less about good customer service!!! Seriously wish I could give ZERO stars!!!

The reason why I'd never noticed it is because you can't see it from the street. You need to pull in to the parking lot of the dearly departed Piggly Wiggly and there you'll see it, behind Las Fiestas. Jordan's is a small shop but there's skill in those wood paneled walls. The fella who cut my hair wasn't Jordan, but Norman. Norman's a fun, chatty fellow with a ton of talent with clippers and scissors and an eye on what's best for your head/face. When I arrived, there was a small line waiting for his services and I was extremely impressed with his ability to service the patrons in a timely but attentive manner. He didn't rush through everyone and everyone looked loads better getting up from his chair than they did when they sat down but he also respected everyone's time... which is an art that can be lost in many barbershops. Despite being my first time at the rodeo, I was treated with respect, asked questions and lead to make good decisions. By the time I was almost finished, I told him to decide what was best for my head/face. Norman always asked my opinion but he led me to the right decision, even going so far as to tell me that he really wanted to do a few certain things I was hemming and hawing over (he was right to do them). All the while, we had conversation that was kept moving by his buddy. Barbershops can sometimes be tough places to break in. If you're not a regular, you can feel it. From the minute I walked in the door, I was welcomed and felt welcomed. That's a big deal. Barbershops can be intimidating. I sat down with a busted head/face and sat back up looking pretty. I am always okay with that. The price for beauty? $14. Tip the man because you're not finding many places that will do what he does for that price. Oh, and when I left, I wasn't covered in hair. I don't know how he did it but my forehead, collar and pillow (when I woke up this morning) were free of hair. Again, this isn't the norm. I've been getting haircuts for [redacted] years. Errant hairs are a part of the process. Not this time, it wasn't. Color me impressed. Norman knows what he's doing. He's a master barber (that means lots of schooling and lots of years) and it shows. I'll be back. I hope to be a regular.
