Best breakfast food. So good that I went two mornings in a row. Service was amazing. Everyone was kind and smiling. Ambiance is fantastic. Perfect breakfast or brunch spot. I seriously love this place.

Acai bowl! Yum!

This place is a whole 'vibe' as they say. The decor is amazing....old school artifacts like stereos and jukeboxes ect. It has smooth soulful music playing that gives such a relaxed nice chill atmospheric vibe. Hard to explain. Food is really good. Savory pancakes and bacon and avocado with fried onion shavings ...so so good! I mean the pancake could have been a bit more moist. It was a bit dry. That would be my only not awesome thing to be said. But other than that ...the staff are super friendly. The creativity on the decor is evident all the way around. I was impressed by seeing just the front room. When I asked to use the bathroom I was able to see the other part ....and then downstairs. I was like wowwww! I saw others come back from the bathroom in awe as well! Like wow this place is really gorgeous! So if you are in Portugal....you must take a morning to go there for breakfast! The neighborhood seems like it's in a downtown area but the streets were so very quiet! I don't know if it was due to it being on 6/19, a holiday or not. But the streets were quiet! So yes. Come visit this place! It was full of all types of people and all different age groups! Families, Friends, fun dates and tourists were all there under 1 roof. Trust me ...this is a nice spot! 5 star rating from me! Oh and the price was great! Got the acai bowl....and the 3 pancake with egg on top and bacon ...all for only 26 bucks!

Salmon toast

Highly recommend! One of the best brunches I've ever had! I had the salmon toast (cream cheese, salmon, chives, poached eggs) which came with a large side salad which paired very well. The cafe con leche was small but reasonably priced - in fact, everything was priced very reasonably for the amount of quality food you received. Our server was very kind and prompt. Overall, the restaurant is gorgeous - all mirrors, velvet couches, mid century vibes. We sat outside on a very cute patio. A great place in Porto if you're craving a big breakfast/brunch that still has European flair.

Came here for the iconic fresh fruit bowl and was not disappointed. Also enjoyed the filter coffee with vegan pea milk.

What a vibe! The music, food, and staff were amazing. I think it's black-owned so I wanted to support. The coffee was great too! Definitely can't wait to go back!

This place had very nice food and my daughter had a delicious pancake meal. I recommend it and the bathrooms were very clean and we received good service. I also want to thank Liliana for being a really awesome waitress. This place was very beyond my expectations. Thanks.

Nicely presented tasty food, friendly attentive service. Was relaxed with chilled music despite being pretty much full - because it's obvious the best place to go!

Really Beautiful Cafe! Nice Interieur (sewing machine tabel) and menu (Fruit Bowls, mix your own salad, big cake selection)! Yummi! Service was fast and Friendly too. Prices really good (Espresso 0.80 Euro...look at the menu picture). All in all: Great Breakfast Place!

Beet hummus toast

My husband and I came here for lunch and had the banana and peanut butter pancakes, beet hummus toast, and detox smoothie. We enjoyed all of our food! Just a tip, most "smoothies" in Portugal are actually "juices." We were surprised when our smoothie was much thinner than expected but it was still delicious! A cute and delicious spot for brunch!

Excellent food. We have eaten here twice and really enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. The staff is polite and helpful. They are able to speak some English. Honestly all of us just truly enjoyed this restaurant and it's amazing food.

It's not every day that you feel like you're walking onto a period film set that harkens back to an…read moreelegantly appointed whodunnit like "Murder on the Orient Express". Jamie W and I had read about it on a travel vlog and recognized the need to bookmark it for our trip to Porto. Sure enough, we had a less than memorable meal at Honest Greens on the pedestrian-only Rua Santa Catarina. It was just a few doors down and conspicuous by its atmospheric detail. Carved dark wood, ornate ceilings, polished brass, marble tables, the whole nine yards. We almost felt underdressed until we noticed other tourists in far tackier leisurewear. We only had room for dessert which was just as well since they had a robust selection to choose from. Surprisingly it was nearly empty when we entered. Jamie ordered the 10€ Cheesecake with Red Fruits. It was a nice, creamy slice ladled with a compote-like coulis of blueberries and red currants (Photo 9). It was accompanied by a glass of Porto Quinta do Noval LBV, a scintillating port that fed into his new addiction (Photo 7). I decided to try their signature 10€ French Toast Majestic Style made distinctive by its decadent egg-custard cream sauce. The flavorful bread slice sat in a shallow pool of maple syrup and sprinkled with pine nuts, walnuts, and raisins (Photo 10). Instead of a port pairing, I ordered the 7€ Cafe au Lait which balanced well with the French toast (Photo 8). I really think the Belle Epoque decor complemented our digestion because this was the gathering spot for Porto's elite. For a few moments, we were part of it. FOOD / DRINK - 5 stars...glorious sweets, especially the French toast, and the port and caffeine were nice fits AMBIANCE - 5 stars...striking atmosphere befitting an Agatha Christie murder mystery in the Gilded Age SERVICE - 4.5 stars..,of course they're attentive TOTAL - 5 stars...a worthy stop among many in Porto RELATED - Exploring Porto? 5 for beauty, zero for prices!! What a tourist trap. I walked in on a quiet morning wanting a small…read morecup of coffee or drink prior to an appointment I was early for. I was absolutely shook at the prices. 7€ for a pingo? (A sip of expresso with a drop of milk and the cup is slightly bigger than two or three thimbles. To compare, you can go most anywhere else and pay about 1€ for a pingo.) 8/9 euros for a hot chocolate? You can get cup of milk for 3/4 euros though, at the store you can get a whole liter for .89€ Listen, I am 100% sure being in this cafe is a dream for some potter fans but it is sad that the prices are that insane, but... clearly people pay them. I politely excused myself and I walked across the way and had two pork rissóis and a cup of coffee (not a baby pingo- think cappuccino size) for 3€... and for free, the real Portuguese experience with locals. The people I engaged with were lovely and kind here. This review is for the prices. Not the food, drinks, or service. Let's be real, of course ambiance is off the chart gorgeous. So if you don't mind a 50€ tab for 3-4 baby, baby coffees maybe just take a picture from the outside and call it good. There are more local and authentic things to do in Porto than pay 7€ for an orange juice or pingo.
