Was pushed to get Invisalign a number of times and told it would be a "six month course".. pfff sounded to good to be true. A money scam. I got Invisalign through another office and I'm very pleased with my experience so far. Will have these retainers for 1 1/2 years and have rubber bands. read more

Worst dental care I have ever had and I had Navy dental care for 30 years. They came up with costly procedures I have never had before and they hurt my mouth. Even the cleaning hurt and even though we had an appointment we always had to wait and they were never apologetic. They told my wife she needed crowns on two teeth that had never bothered her. She has been in pain ever since. Has been back multiple times and they have done nothing to ease her pain. Avoid these people and try some of the much better rated dentists in the area. We are reporting them to Tricare. They shouldn't be on the list. We won't be going back, no reason to go some place that causes you pain rather than relieving it. They are not friendly either. read more

I had a cracked tooth that required extraction. My normal dentist who is great just did not have available appointments. I was able to get a next day appointment. The dentist was honest about what was going to happen, specifically the pain level. The extraction went off without a hitch, and I decided to go ahead and have them complete the implant process. That also went off without any complications and the crown fits perfectly. I did not shop around for prices, so I have no idea if I paid more or less than I should have. What I do know is that I had great service from Dr. Patil and his team. Thanks you! read more

I recently moved and needed a new dentist. I don't really enjoy going to the dentist, as most people, but I am so happy I found Dr. Weld. For 20+ years I was told, by multiple dentists, I wouldn't be able to fix two of my teeth without getting veneers (and then the veneers would need to be from K9 to K9). Today, I went to Dr. Weld and she fixed the teeth, without veneers and I am already so much more confident. The entire staff is amazing! I don't have to hide my smile anymore! Worst Dental Experience EVER! And I've been their patient for over 10 years! This occurred 7/13/2021. They removed my original YELP Review, and have not reached out to me at all! I walked in the door to check in. The receptionist is on the phone. Not a problem. I'm a patient person...she began yelling for me to put a face mask on. I was not facing her and had no idea she was yelling at me. I have several in the car, none in my handbag..she handed me a mask and the usual paperwork...I gave her new insurance card and was taken back for x-rays. Thank the Lord for Ayana. She was the light In this. In the dental chair now finishing x-rays. Some lady comes back yelling at me about insurance-said her admim is being transferred all over..do I want to continue the appt at $ x amount or have cleaning also at $ z amount? I'm ready to walk out at this point. This info had all been provided when I scheduled the appt several weeks ago, insurance should have been validated before I ever sat in a dental chair. Guess who walks in to make me ache and bleed from a vicious cleaning? The lady that had been yelling at me about insurance. She was very rough, abrupt and rude. I got a substandard cleaning-i can feel tarter at the base of back molars. Not kidding. She also did not offer Flouride treatments or cancer screening, as I have done nearly ever visit in past years. Not sure what happened to the practice. For years, I've sent many friends and colleagues. I won't be doing that anymore. read more

Just went to the dentist for the first time in 2 years! I know disgusting, but due to my fiancee being in the military I've moved around and I'm really particular of my doctors, but especially dentists. I had the same dentist from the age of 3 until 2 years ago, so it was hard for me to let someone else in my mouth. The ladies at Neibauer Dental are amazinggg! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to me. The technology they have there is not like anything I've ever seen. They even did a cancer screening of my gums! My teeth have never felt cleaner and I am so happy I chose to go with them! read more

AWFUL!!! Dr Patil is the worst ever. He did a root canal a couple years ago and it still hurts?? Not given a choice when I had to have a cracked tooth removed-had to see him again. He pulled it a couple weeks ago-without enough sedation. I am in constant pain and can no longer chew on that side!! Can't be seen anywhere else right now because of the virus!! read more

I went here in October of 2014 to have four porcelain crowns placed. By February one of them had fallen out. Mind you, it was one of my front teeth, so I was in a bit of a panic. I was in Iraq at the time, so I called for advice on what to do. The woman I spoke with told me that I should use dental adhesive (for dentures) to keep it in place until I could get back to the office. If you know anything about dentistry or have had crowns done, you'd know that the space between the crown and the tooth does not facilitate the use of such adhesives. I was also advised that replacement of the fallen tooth would not be covered unless my insurance covered it. So, I would have to pay out of pocket for more botched work. I'd have to be an idiot to agree to go back there. I went without a front tooth from February of 2015 until April 2015. Besides the bombardment of questions as to whether or not I was an MMA fighter or hockey player, everything was awesome! Against the stereotype, I decided to do some more research and found a cosmetic dentist in England. After having a 20 second look at the work that had been done, he concluded that the dentist who had performed the original operation may have been under the influence of hallucinogens and or opiates. Needless to say, the underlying cause was addressed (what should have been done in the first place) and things are now good to go. Besides the friendliness of the staff, there is not much good to be said about this particular venue. read more

Dr. Weld is a wonderful dentist and has amazing bed side manner for those that are scared to death of the dentist. We LOVE her

My daughter and I both went to the Neibauer office in Garrisonville and were not satisfied with our care. The dental hygenists for teeth cleaning were fine, the receptionists relatively friendly, but both of us had issues with our doctors. Mine was very gentle, I never even felt the novicane shots, but the crown he gave me has never been right. My daughter had a very shallow cavity that needed to be filled and it still wasn't right after going back for a third time. She later went to a dentist near her university who was able to fix it on the first try. There are too many dentists around to continue going to a place where you never know what care you will receive. read more

We had just moved here from Massachusetts when we tried Neibauer. My daughter, who has never had a cavity, was told she needed a root canal. At the time, she had braces on. I told them I was getting a second opinion. I went to Dr. Hicks on Walpole Street and was told my daughter did not need a root canal. There was nothing wrong with here teeth. Dr. Hicks said maybe they read the xray wrong and the shadow they saw was the wire from her braces. You would think knowledgeable dentist would know the difference between a shadow from the wire and a rotten tooth. Do not waste your money going here, even if you have a coupon. They will try and railroad you to spend your money on care you don't need! read more

Had an implant done here. Friendly, efficient staff for the most part. The hygienist and the dentist were both very good. Good appointment availability and very work friendly hours. Parking can be scarce. Was a bit expensive but that may just be the nature of the work I had done. Willing to work out a snafu with my insurance as well. No complaints other than an assistant being a bit aggressive jamming in the X-ray plate and then complaining that I was a "gagger". Given that the plate was 1/2 way down my throat I think I can be excused, I let her know I didn't appreciate her technique anyway. heh. I will continue to do business here. read more

Everyone was nice, but they refused to do a "regular cleaning", and wanted me to pay over $1,000 for a "deep" cleaning. I don't have insurance, and had a coupon for xrays and cleaning for less than $60. I ended up paying $25 today for xrays I didn't need, since they weren't going to clean my teeth (and my teeth aren't bad). Very disappointed in the customer service. read more

This place is awful! I was a patient here for two years, when I complained of tooth pain the doctor refused to look at my tooth, he said the X-ray didn't show anything. So when I went back 6 months later still complaining about the tooth, now much worse, he said 'oh sorry I must've been looking at the wrong tooth. That cavity is really deep, you may need a root canal!' He wanted to try filling it with no anesthesia! I refused and he sullenly gave me a shot, while complaining about how long it would take now. Well the anesthesia didn't help and the filling was so deep I was crying and begging him to stop every few seconds. I did not return to a dentists office for more than two years because of that incompetent doctor. My new dentists was able to redo the filling so that I no longer have pain in that tooth. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Had tooth pain, so went here to get it looked at and was told I would need a root canal and crown. The dentist told me its super easy, painless procedure. So that was two months ago, I've been having pain since then in my crown, been back probably 5 times. They convinced me I was grinding and night guard would fix it, nope night guard seems like its making it worse, been back 2 times to get that adjusted still seems to make it worse. Horrible place to get any dental work done. Extremely over priced and the work they do is sub par.

More scheduling than treatment. Called to move up a cleaning due to a chipped tooth. Dr Patel wasn't available so we agreed to keep the previously scheduled 7AM cleaning. Showed up at the appointed time/date, which was confirmed by text message several days prior, only to find they were conducting a seminar of some kind in the reception area and not open until 9AM. This office sends out flyers advertising a $59 special for a cleaning and x-rays for first time customers. I call to set up my appointment and am told there is no need to bring this coupon with my to the appointment that it is noted in the computer. They ask for my insurance info as well and made it very clear to me that my insurance would not be charged for the appointment. I go to my appointment the following day and they do x-rays and do some poking of my gums. They didn't even give me the cleaning as described in the flyer. I paid cash for this the same day. I just got a statement from my insurance company stating they were billed for the visit. I called Neibauer about this and was told if I cannot provide a receipt from that day I was out of luck. I guess one of the girls up front came out $60 richer that day. Horrible customer service by management as well. read more

This place is terrible. I started my Invisalign treatment on February of 2016 and my doctor left the practice in November. The team said they would be transferring my case to one of the other doctors and they would call be back within the week to schedule my next appointment with my new dentist. I called three times over the next month trying to find out who my new dentist would be and to schedule my next appointment. I received the same message each time that they were "working on it." Finally got a call back on 1/2/2018 and said that I would now have to be seen at the Fredericksburg office because the current doctors did not have enough experience for my case. They are still offering new Invisalign services for new patients at this location, just discarding the old because they have already paid. The office reps make it very clear that they don't care. Each location is an independently owned office so if the owner/dentist doesn't show any concern for customer service, why would the staff? read more
