He care was great and she took the time to ask questions to get to the problem that I was 30lbs. over weight and suggested that through exercise and diet food changes that I could accomplish this on my own. I have since recommended my spouse as well and she is now a patient as well. We are both pleased with the ease and great care from Mi Doctor Clinics especially the one in Oakcliff off of Dawes Street. I would definitely recommend them. Plus the visit are inexpensive since my wife has no health insurance very affordable.

#1 worst experience at a clinic…read more The front staff is rude and inefficient. I was scheduled for a 10 a.m. appointment and arrived 30 minutes early. Mostly because I rely on public transportation and because the clinic states that patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment. I walked in and the front staff members were gossiping in plain sight. I interrupted them to inform them that I needed to check in for my appointment. I was merely told to go sit down and wait to be called in. I thought this was odd since I've always had to sign in for any medical appointments except for one clinic where the front staff actually took the time to know patients and this is not that clinic. I saw a sign in sheet but no pen available so I began to repeat myself and before I could finish speaking, they urged me to go sit down. I sat down and waited and waited as I saw many of the people that came in at the same time and after finish with their appointments. So around 50 minutes past my appointment time and over an hour after my arrival, I walked up to the registration desk and asked how long it was going to take because I had already been waiting there for more than an hour. I was also fasting and it was obvious that my blood sugar levels were low as I was sweating, shivering, weak, and pale. I reminded them that I had arrived at 9:30 a.m. and my appointment was at 10 a.m. Having not eaten since around 7:30 p.m. the night before and not being able to keep any food down for a few days, I was in no condition to just sit around anymore. There were many women behind the registration desk. Some working and others gossiping. Destiny, the woman at the front desk, was moody towards me. She angrily asked what my name was which is odd since she nor the other receptionist think it was important to get my name when I walked in and told me twice to go sit down. She expressed that it was my fault for not registering upon arrival and for not being seen by the doctor. I reminded her of what happened and that I needed to be at work by noon so I would be running late if I stayed any longer to which she replied that I could stay as a walk-in appointment and be seen by noon. I expressed my concern about having to wait that long since I had been asked to go to my appointment while fasting and I was definitely in need of medical attention at that point. She replied with an attitude and began to argue with me about how I did not register and how I should have made sure that I was being registered instead of sitting down. I went outside as I was not allowed to use their restroom and checked my blood sugar which was in the 70's. I called and reported them and just as I was in the middle of making my report, their manager called me. I made the report but it seems like they would rather I go back or to a different clinic of my choice under their Clinica Mi Doctor. I was given an appointment for the following day. I returned their managers call and the receptionist had given her side of the story saying that I never came up to them and simply walked out. How would she know who I was if I had walked out and not come up to them? I went to the other appointment and guess what? They had no idea about the appointment. It didn't show up on my app either. Also, the patient portal app has the option to sign in to the clinic and I'm guessing that doesn't work either because I tried to sign in just in case through the app after sitting down. The appointment also disappeared shortly after I went outside the clinic. I don't think I'll ever come back. The doctor that first saw me was great but the rest of the staff needs to work on their attitudes and get training on how to interact with patients.

They take months to reply to your concern and do not pick up the phone. The codes that were sent to my insurance needed to be changed to be covered and everyone was giving me the run around. I completely reached my deductible and out of pocket expenses due to surgeries but was billed because Methodist did not want to change a code. It has been months since I have been trying to get help and no one is helping. Some of the test that were ran were even rejected because they submitted it wrong and I am getting charged for it. This is completely horrible customer service. They are quick to have you come in for an appointment but don't help you after when they charge you for it. I will not suggest coming to this location unless you want to get charged for no reason for things that can get covered because they do not feel like changing it. I am disappointed in this organization/ office if this is how you treat all of your long term clients.

I am trying to find out if I am being quoted based on age alone or if there were other factors. I feel pretty penalized at the moment as I believe the highest price is 400 a month. ;( I will update this review as I learn more and let you decide if this model is worthwhile, considering that it costs an arm and a leg, and will also be doing a VLOG on this style of medicine. It seems that it may be out of reach for most people.

I have been a diamond member, first in Carrollton and now in downtown Dallas, for several years. I…read morehave always felt that the small monthly fee they charge was well justified by a really higher standard of care, easy access to your doctor, etc. Recently however, Dr Durani, my current Diamond physician, showed such huge value in a way that is easy to explain. Here is what happened. I fell and hurt both knees, and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Initially the docs had trouble diagnosing what was wrong, and the internist assigned at the first hospital was weak. I was able to spend time on the phone getting advice from Dr Durani each day, both helping me try to help with the diagnosis, and keeping my spirits up. We found an orthopedic surgeon who made an immediate and correct diagnosis, but he planned to be on vacation, delaying my surgery for 10 days, not a plan I liked. Dr Durani took my cryptic diagnosis and used his own network of physician friends to try to find a surgeon to give me a second opinion. He found me Dr Brigham Au through his friend Dr Ken Estrera. Both of these folks are skilled orthopedic and sports injury surgeons. I explained my situation to Dr Au and he felt the hospital I was at already had wasted too much time, and time to repair was important. He and Dr Estrera went to work starting at 5pm that night, got the surgery scheduled for the following morning at a hospital where they had privileges, got me a surgical room at that hospital and got me transferred there by midnight that night. The surgery was done, and it was very successful. The value that Diamond and Dr Durani provided in getting this to happen for me pays their monthly fees far in advance in my opinion. But Dr Durani has not stopped helping. I am still in the hospital and need advice about rehab facilities. I plan to talk to Dr Durani this afternoon about which facility to pick. Dr Durani is really is a doctor like we used to have, who has time and cares about each patient. I hope to continue in his practice for a long time.
