    Little man inspecting every pond

Great place for fresh water fish. They do have some pretty nice fish at this location. Would love for them to get a bit more variety - however; the staff is usually very helpful and very patient. Specially with my youngest son; who tends to be very indecisive and asks a lot of questions. So big thank you to the staff...The big fish in the back are his favorite (rail tail and iridescent sharks). Great location...

I dont know anything about fish in general, but came for a look, and an education all in one. Having read their business information and reviews the specialise in aquarium snd pond fish, and seem to have a great selection- such as - Freshwater Tropical Fish of all types, including Angelfish, Cichlids, Gourami, Barbs, Sharks, Bettas, Guppies, Tetras, Oscars, Eels, Goldfish, Oranda, Koi and many more. If you are into fish, this is your local spot.

Wow what a find. This store is located in a neighborhood where you wouldn't expect a store to be. This neighborhood has beautiful houses. This store is pretty spacious. Is the largest fish farm I have seen. There are rows and rows of these big fish rectangular tanks. They are filled with different kinds of fish. There are so many fish here. They also have really big fish. Like the ones you see in a Chinese restaurant.. There is also a big variety of diferent types of plants for your aquarium for sale here. They have smaller fish tanks filled with them. This place is amazing. This place offers snails, plant fertilizers, fish food and so much more. The people here sound knowledgeable of what they have. They are also friendly and helpful. If you are in the area and you are looking for a good price and a good selection on fish. I would stop by.

An amazing place to bring your children. My boys want to buy some Goldfish and Mollys. This place is perfect for that. The staff have so much knowledge of how to take care of your fish and patience to speak to the kids about it. It's also very affordable.

Fantastic service! After making the long drive here I must say service was impeccable. Price was very fair - owner gave me a discount for ordering in bulk. Highly recommend basic on hardy fish - healthy- great choices

    Betta set up

Great selection nice employees very unique fish way better than any regular ol pet store

Adult betta in trapped in a tequila bottle. It was not the only one.

Although the staff is very friendly, this review is not about them. This is about the treatment of their livestock, which is unfortunately not great. As someone who has been in the aquarium hobby for some time, seeing the conditions their betta fish are in was very hard. Most, if not all, are kept in tiny, tiny cups with barely any water or space to move, in a dark bin in the back. What little water they do have is very obviously fouled, green with algae or cloudy. The fish themselves look sick and miserable. Unable to move, they either float to the top or lay on their sides at the bottom. There are many of them... These animals are living creatures. Anyone who has owned them knows they're intelligent and need more than a 1/2 a cup to live in. A quick Google search confirms they need at least 5 gallons to live comfortably and regular water changes. They don't even have a full cup of water there. Keeping bettas trapped in old tequila bottles as a novelty (see pictures) is unacceptable and cruel. The conditions they're kept in are incredibly sad and honestly abusive. They have the space, they have the tanks. There is no excuse. Considering this farm has been around serving hobbyists and novices alike for a long time, they should know better. Way better. Neighborhood Fish Farm should be a positive example of how to keep your animals, not the opposite.

It's ok, but I don't like the place. Things are badly labeled and all the fish are in concrete tubs so you can't really see them.

Ask the Community - Neighborhood Fish Farm

What are the prices for the betta fish?

I got a really beautiful female for $6. I think all of the females were $6, actually. The males may be more, but I'd guess that they're definitely within a very reasonable price range.

Does this place have pretty betta fish?

Yes. Walk in, past the counter and you'll find them in the middle. They are at the wooden stand. They have a nicer selection than the obvious pet stores.

It's the kind of place that makes you genuinely grateful it's in your neighborhood. Aside from an AMAZING selection and incredibly fair prices, what really separates Strictly Fish are the employees. Luis, Anthony, Thomas, Yohan, Chris, Yobi, Juan, and the rest of the gang have created something incredibly special here in Miami, and the level of care they put into their customers, livestock, and store makes them deserving of recognition as Miami's premier aquarium store. From the moment we got into the hobby, this team has been patient, thorough, honest, and unbelievably generous with their knowledge and time. Anyone who has ever had a reef tank knows how overwhelming this hobby can be when you're new. There are a million things to learn, and mistakes can be expensive (boy, have we made some mistakes along the way!). I can't quantify the number of questions we've asked these guys, and the level of attention, detail, and genuine concern they've provided is the kind of white glove customer service that is incredibly rare. They will always take as much time as necessary to explain what's happening and why, what our options are, and what they would personally recommend. They don't just tell you what to buy; they teach you how to be successful in the hobby. Whether we're asking a beginner question, trying to understand water parameters, choosing livestock, troubleshooting something in our tank, or dealing with an aquarium emergency, they take the time to help. You can tell they genuinely want our tank to succeed. Their fish and coral selection is phenomenal. The quality, health and variety of their livestock consistently impress us, and you can see the amount of work that goes into maintaining their systems and caring for everything in the store. The corals are absolutely beautiful and hardy, the fish selection is outstanding, and the entire store reflects a team that genuinely cares about the animals they sell and the hobby they're representing. Their pricing is incredibly fair. That's something I appreciate because this can (and has!) become a very expensive hobby very quickly. We've never felt like the goal here was to sell us the most expensive option or convince us to buy something we didn't need. They're straightforward about what's worth spending money on, what isn't, and what actually makes sense for our tank. That kind of honesty builds tremendous trust. We've been to every fish store in Miami, and nothing compares to Strictly; I am addicted to this hobby like the rest of you ("Hi, I'm Bethany and I'm a coralholic"), and they have stopped me from wasting money on something that just won't work countless times, because they are HONEST people. Their service doesn't end when you leave the store, either. We use their in home water change service with Anthony, and having a knowledgeable professional who knows our system and can help us maintain it properly has been truly invaluable. The same attention to detail you see in the store carries over into the service he provides in our home. Anthony is THEE BEST. He's also an incredible designer who did our rockwork, which resulted in an absolutely stunning display! Anthony is like Batman, always just one text away from saving the day. That dedication can't be beat. My favorite thing about Strictly is that it has become more than a store to us. There are places that sell fish and corals, and then there are true local fish stores that become your community. It's a place where you build relationships with customers, learn the hobby, get honest advice, share the excitement when your tank is thriving, share condolences when it's not, and know there are knowledgeable people you can turn to when something goes wrong. We're incredibly lucky to have this team right here in Westchester. They have earned our trust and loyalty completely, and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough. A million stars. That says everything about the kind of business they run. In the reefing hobby, healthy livestock, honest advice, and experience are worth far more than flashy displays, and this store delivers on all three. Their fish and coral selection is outstanding, the livestock is healthy and well cared for, and they never push unnecessary products just to make a sale. If something isn't ready, they'll tell you. If they think there's a better way to do something, they'll explain why. That level of integrity is becoming rare. As someone who is still learning the reefing side of the hobby, I've asked more questions than I can count, and they've always taken the time to educate me instead of rushing me out the door. They have helped me avoid costly mistakes and made what can be an overwhelming hobby enjoyable. A special thank you to Luis, Allen, and Anthony. Your knowledge, patience, and customer service set the standard for what a local fish store should be. This was the only new thing they consumed. I contacted Natural Balance and they said the batch was "approved" but that does NOT rule out improper storage or handling at the store level. I went to the store with photos of the bag, the batch number, barcode, and my receipt. The manager, Ángel, was completely unacceptable. The most concerning part is that no one showed any interest in investigating a potentially unsafe product that could affect other pets. This is not about the money, this is about the health and safety of animals. Pet Supermarket and Natural Balance should take this seriously.
