Thanks to Will's unparalleled teaching methods, I was not only conversational in the terminology, but knew how to put it into use - by the end of class. I'm currently part of Will's Critique Group. The assignments are fun, inspiring and challenging. It's a great opportunity to try new things and share your photography experiences with an extremely supportive group. Thanks to this Critique Course, I can see my work improving on a daily basis. Will goes the extra mile for his students. I needed to shoot in a lowlight, no flash, theatre setting, with no room for error. I sent Will an email, he got right back to me with "setting starting points" - my photos came out great! Hope to see you in class!

I spent one hour with Will and he would explain things to me and if I said "I don't understand" he would explain it again but in a different way. At one point he was explaining film speed and I just could not remember whether the higher number was better when you have a little light or a lot of light and he explained it three different ways then said "use this to buy more light" and it stuck completely. I really appreciate someone who knows his stuff but as a teacher is more focused on helping me understand.

This is a school and she is one of the pros there. She knew my stressful, sad week and lovingly laid her hands on me with a great massage, thoughtfully applied pressure and avoiding the areas we had agreed were not part of this action, this time. I left in a calmer state of mind, a peaceful soul and went to my formal event that evening able to temporarily forget my sorrows and dance the evening away. Thanks Rosemanry!

Quick Google search and found Midwest School of Massage located off of 84th Street. Midwest School of Massage has students conducting their training as well as licensed masseurs. Prices are very reasonable with you getting a discount if one of the students works on you. Very easy to make an appointment. Mine was same day. Small waiting room, but pleasantly decorated. Nice, polite receptionist. Fill out a two page form providing the particulars about yourself and the issues you are having. I ended up getting two massages at this location. First massage was with Rosemary who is a certified therapy and also assists with instruction at the school. I had some difficult areas in my back, neck and shoulders that needed to be worked fairly aggressively and Rosemary was outstanding. Great understanding of the body and how it works. Really excellent massage. She also spent 30 minutes doing Reflexology on my feet which was great as well. I would definitely ask for her again if she had availability. Second massage was with Brad; a student of the school. Overall massage was good. He was also able to work a couple of my more difficult areas and help me find relief from the pain and tension. Very satisfied with both of my experiences. Very reasonable cost; for the hour with the certified massage therapy was $55 and for the hour with the student therapist was $35. I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a good massage for a reasonable price with the understanding that this is a school and people are there learning so each individual's experience may vary somewhat based upon the student doing the work.

PMA also provides additional guides, videos, practice exams, and tutoring with the exam prep course. They'll also walk you through applying for the exam if needed. The instructor, Phillip Jackson, was experienced and knowledgeable, and he was able to explain the course material in a way that helped everyone. He knew all of the material, and he linked it all back to the PMBOK, which closed the knowledge loop to the source document. Speaking of materials, the materials were great, and now they include a practice guide on Agile methodologies, which is very helpful in my organization. Also, the online material was very useful, and the pre-exam tips book was a good read. In total, Phillip did an excellent job, and the PM Academy provided a great learning experience!

I was charged $8 for little white lines that the student suggested but they never mentioned it was an extra charge. Everywhere else I've done a basic French tip with a small white line separating the nail bed from the nail tip never charged me $8 for small little lines. The lines aren't perfectly even, or even that close for some of them, so I feel $8 is too much. Had they warned me ahead of time instead of as I'm paying it might have been a different story. My niece got acrylics for $5 and her technician was amazing! She ranted and raved about her the whole way home. My stepdaughter got a shellac manicure for $10 and was happy with it. I know this is a school but I wasn't thrilled with hearing the lessons and some of the remarks that were made. I felt it was overkill some of the things being said and some of the comments were border line inappropriate from the instructor. I also was not a fan of the fact that the students had to call & text their instructor to come back so I could pay. The students cannot take payments and the instructor left to get food, she was gone almost an hour and from what I heard it is usually 2 hours so they called her to come in. Overall the quality was good, I just wasn't happy with certain aspects. I may go back but I honestly don't know bc I don't really want to deal with the comments she was making, the students being borderline uncomfortable, potentially being stuck with no way to pay (if she leaves) and the unpredictability of the cost.

I easily found this studio online one day while searching for places to send Lia to learn ballet. I saw that they were enrolling soon and decided to email the owner right away for some more information. She responded very quickly and soon we went in to sign up. When you first start, Traci gives you a couple weeks to try it out just in case your child ends up not liking it. I thought that was great because, well, if you pay money for something and later your kid doesn't want to do it anymore, it's a waste! Our daughter, needless to say, LOVES ballet and tap! She also loves her teachers there. They are just so friendly and makes her feel at home whenever she comes in. It's a pretty small community here at this dance studio, not like the one closer to my house where I see so many kids come in and out of. I like the smaller classes, especially for Lia as she gets quite distracted sometimes. It helps her to learn in these small classes a lot better and she feel she has more one on one time.
