They are both wonderful at what they do and their care for their patients is phenomenal. Ed is very concerned about the well being and future of my teeth and gums and I really appreciate all the guidance he has given me. Dr. Brown is a very likable and funny guy and he's very personable. He always does a great job on our teeth and makes you feel comfortable. They both always ask if everything is okay and do you need anything. I actually don't mind going to them at all. Another great thing is that they're open on Sundays. Ed used to work at this practice and now he works in Pennsylvania full time but he still comes on Fridays to Amwell to keep up with his patients there. That is a dedicated and caring professional. Lisa does a fantastic job! She is professional, pleasant and enjoyable, gentle and thorough, and gets everything done quickly. When I ask questions Lisa provides great information. Dr. Rago is also excellent. He is always professional and very pleasant, and checks to make sure all of my dental needs are addressed. When I have questions he explains everything clearly and understandably. I especially like that Dr. Rago doesn't do work unless it's needed - he keeps track of anything that looks like it could become an issue, and gives you the option of making choices that work best for you without undue pressure. The staff at Hillsborough Dental Center is also excellent. They are professional and conscientious. I can always reach someone when I need to, and when I leave messages they call back quickly. They have consistently provided answers to any questions I've had in good time. I highly recommend Hillsborough Dental Center, and will be happy to continue going there myself.

I came across Dr. Dave at Cornerstone via a friend's recommendation and he has been amazing. I have only seen him twice, yet we speak like old buddies. He remembered my kids' names and what they've been up to. Lastly, I also want to give mad props to Dawn who did my cleaning. Also, aware that I have low sinuses, I didn't think I would be a candidate for implants. Not knowing anyone who does this kind of work and looking online for prosthodontics in my area did not result in many recommendations. My friend, Valerie Juzwiak, recommended Dr. Beckwith, as she had gone to school with him. I called Cornerstone and spoke with a knowledgeable, compassionate woman, Linda. I explained what was happening and how upset I was about the situation; she quickly arranged for a consult with Dr. Beckwith. After scans and xrays, it was worse than expected; both bridges had failed, left and right sides, and I had a sinus infection. Dr. Beckwith had more of an idea of what he was dealing with and developed an agreeable action plan. I spoke with Linda numerous times about my anxiety and hesitation about having such a procedure and how this was so life-changing. Linda was very understanding, empathic, and caring; she took me thru all the steps I should expect and things I didn't even think of and answered all my questions. Dentistry has changed, it's not what you might remember, and this office is state-of-the-art. On the day of surgery, Linda, Lisa, and Dr. Beckwith ensured that I was comfortable and not experiencing pain. The procedures took over seven hours; it was a lot of work. Overall, the whole experience was great, from the preparation to the procedures, and while the healing process continues, it's a lot better than I was expecting.

I've meet the most horrible oral surgeons in my time. Dr. Erakat is the best. He greeted me and my husband with open arms. He explained everything to me and I'm so calm. I'll be heavenly sedated so I'll need a ride home. Dr. Erakat didn't make me feel stupid and I'm eager to get my surgery over this Monday Just remember if you want to acquire about his service. Make sure that you have a PPO insurance and not a DMO.. I want to futher explain about insurance. Insurance can be an complete nightmare. Having an DMO plan leaves you to only the providers that your insurance picks. Those dental/surgeons don't always have your best interest at heart. Call your insurance company and make sure you have the best they have to offer. Edit: 1/28/19 I'm home now and my surgery went amazing. Dr. Erakat and his team stayed right by my side. He started me off with laughing gas. As I was relaxing he was telling my husband everything about after care. I remember him telling my husband I was going out and he will call me back in. Once I woke up I thought we was getting started. That's just how fast it went. Cool part is that he gave me my wisdom teeth Okay pain meds kicking in so I'll update later

They tried to convince me to stay by saying, "it's not covered but you only need to pay a 'in-network rate'," even though they couldn't estimate the cost of the surgery. When I was on the operating table a month later, they informed me that I only needed to pay $630. I was already seated; what can I do now? At that time, I paid in full. That being said, a year later, I received a bill informing me that I needed to pay an extra $288 to make up the difference between the insurance payment. I would now be paying more than $900 in total. The procedure would only have cost Horizon BCBS $350 out of pocket if they had simply told me to leave and find another dentist. Update: The manager, Arianna, called me, and we walked through everything. I consider the issue solved, as we both did what we can in this situation.

My Dentist has helped me through my anxiety issues with going to the dentist as well as the dental assistance showing me nothing but respect. If you are upset about insurance issues... DO RESEARCH before you go so that you know what to expect. Don't wait to get the service then question your insurance. They spell it out to you before they do ANY work.
