I hired this company, through Home Depot, to put up a fence around my in ground pool. Upon…read morecompletion of this job, the following was discovered: 1) The workers took the dirt they removed for the fence posts and dumped it in my neighbors backyard. 2) During the installation the workers knocked over my propane heater,damaging it. 3) The workers left garbage, i.e. plastic bags, empty water bottles, in my yard. 4) The workers did a poor job of cleaning up pieces of fence and other items around the pool. If these had gone in the pool they would have ripped my liner. I did not discover these issues until after the workers left and my wife and I were looking over the site. I advised Home Depot on these issues and received no response at all. Upon receiving the follow up job rating request from Fence Builders I informed them of the issues. I explained each issue and provided pictures of the issues as well. By the time they responded my wife and I had already cleaned up a very unhappy neighbors yard, cleaned up the debris and garbage, and sent the heater out to be repaired. The response I finally received from them offered us a $100 Home Depot gift card for our "trouble". This amount did not even cover the cost to repair the heater and I advised them to keep their "generous" offer. This was their demonstration of their " superior customer service". I would recommend, if you do use them, check out the work area, your yard, and the neighbors yard, with a fine toothed comb before you sign off on the job and let the workers leave. The quality of the fence is good but, as for everything else, it was a very poor experience for us.

My search for a contractor led me to Starline Fence & Guard Rail and after reading the rave reviews I called, and Jose promptly called back. He came out the next day and assured me he could take care of the replacement, quoted me a very reasonable price and said the new guardrails would be ready in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. One week later, a truck pulled up outside and within about an hour the old railings were gone and the new railings were installed! I can't say enough about the outstanding level of service I received from Jose and his crew. I plan to install a fence in the backyard for our dogs and I wouldn't think of calling anyone else but Starline Fence & Guardrail to do the work.

When he came out to the property, the quote he gave me on the phone was exactly the same as the quote he gave me in person. He scheduled me for the following week. On the day of, he arrived early with his team and when I got home from work, the fence was 99% done. His team came back the next morning and finished installing the gates. The final bill was exactly what he said it would be. We have had multiple contractors at our new home - for painting, small projects, HVAC, etc - and by far Jose was the most honest and reliable. On top of that the fence looks AMAZING. You won't regret using their services.
