I went there because the Nejaimes used to run a grocery store in my hometown of Harwinton, CT. (They then went on, in the 1960's, to open "Nejaime's Stockbridge Shop," a grocery store which was immortalized in a painting by the renowned artist Norman Rockwell.) I found out (from Mike Nejaime, a relative who works at my local liquor store--Ponte's Torringford Liquor Store) that even though the grocery shop has changed hands, the Nejaime family runs a couple of wine shops in that area so I wanted to speak with one of the Nejaimes. (My dad was Lebanese, so I am half, and they are Lebanese, so we also had that fond connection.) When I walked into the Lenox store, I was greeted warmly by a man working there and a nice lady as well who asked if she could help me. I said I'd like to speak to a Nejaime, and she went into the back and brought back Joe Nejaime, the proprieter, who is the son of owners of the little grocery store in Harwinton, CT from my childhood. Joe was nice as could be, and we talked and reminisced about the store from our childhood days. I ended up telling him that I saw him and his store on an episode of "The Real Housewives of New York City." He told me that Dorinda Medley (one of my favorites) has a house close by there. I was so excited to buy her signature Bourbon, and Joe even took a selfie with me! The store is immaculately clean and has an amazing selection of wines and liquors. I can't imagine you'd get better service, as well. Stop in sometime! (They also have a Stockbridge location as well as the Lenox store.) read more

Was so surprised to see how much this store has to offer. I was expecting a regular liquor store, however this store not only has a great selection of wine and liquor to choose from, but also has a great cheese selection and other snacks to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. read more

We were touring the quaint town of Lenox MA in the Berkshire Mountains and came across this lovely wine shop. They had the most extensive variety of cheeses and even had some packaged sliced and ready to serve. They had all kinds of olives ans fried fruits like apricots and figs to make a charcuterie board. They have specialty items for cooking like flavored oils and mixes for desserts and side dishes. We found the best dark chocolate bars. They even sell beautiful wine glasses with Lenox Ma etched on the glasses to take home as a souvenir. They had so many different wines and choices for adult beverages. They even offer wine tastings. They are a bit on the pricey side but this is one of my favorite cheese shops and shops to go to in Lenox. I always make a point to shop at Nejamies and see which cheese delicacies I am going to take home with me. The ciabatta bread was an absolute favorite with my family. read more

We were visiting from NY, where stores like this are not allowed not exist - guess the concept of retail to go food and drink under one roof is an alien concept in the Empire State. This was perfect for our weekend at the lake needs - a large, worldwide sourced selection of wines (reds, whites, bubbles, rose) liquors (including small batch selections) and a section dedicated to cheese, salumi, noshes and snacks. A helpful staff topped off the ticked boxes! I was visiting with the owner of a large NT retail wine & liquor store - who was as impressed as well. Plenty of off street parking (town was jammed on a simmer Saturday) as well. Wish we had one near us. read more

Great place! They have a wide selection. The staff are friendly and knowledge. We attended a wine tasting and it was organized, fun, and had a great selection of wines, beer, and cognac to taste. They have a nice area with cheese, chocolate, and other condiments. The staff were helpful and made for a fun afternoon. I will go back and recommend you go for your wine and spirits. read more

Nejaime's furnished wine, beer, and liquor for our wedding. Xavier and Joe did a great job making sure that we had a good selection in sufficient quantities (and we were able to return unopened bottles after the event was over). Everything was delivered and picked up promptly and without incident. We also enjoy shopping at Nejaime's for wine, cheese, and other snacks when we visit the Berkshires during the summer. It has a great selection and excellent service, making it the nicest wine store in the region. Highly recommended! read more

A liquor store that has lost its way. Sadly my life has been plagued by terrible customer service encounters in the town of Lenox but this stands alone as the only one where I was accused of being a criminal for suggesting the merchant was wrong for assuming they did not have a specific product. Was actually, quite literally, reprimanded by anger and sarcasm until I kindly and calmly removed myself. I don't like to plug other purveyors, but Spirited Wine And Liquor is mere minutes away and offers a far better selection and far better customer service. read more

Prior to attending a concert at Tangelewood, I did some research and came up with this shop for the purpose of ordering a picnic and wine for the show. Even though they have 3 locations (which I think the others might be owned by different people), after I got over the confusion of exactly which shop i was calling, I placed my ordered that day over the phone for the Mediterranean Picnic Basket for $53 or something like that. When I arrived, everything was packed up for me and ready to go. I also bought a few bottles of reasonably priced wine from their cooler. The food for the most part was very very good. The curry chicken salad was great, I wished it was bigger, the salami, cheese and grape leaves were all great. The only miss was the taboule which was 90% parsley and almost no taboule, but it could have just been that batch. The bread was good as well. Overall, if you are going to Tanglewood and want a place to pick up a nice picnic dinner try this place, because they have great service and very good food and wine. read more

He helped us find a few budget wines that were wonderful crowd pleasers. They delivered the morning of our ceremony, bottles of white and prosecco prechilled. I came in with my partner hoping to purchase a large gift basket for my grandmother. Instead, the woman who worked there followed us around the store asking aggressively if we needed anything until we became so uncomfortable that we had to leave.
