Such a beautiful selection of wine, liquor, and cheese! I expected a small store (it doesn't look too big from the outside), but the inside has everything you'll need for a picnic or indulgent night with friends. I was very impressed by the variety of meat and cheese. I got myself some smoked salmon pinwheels which were delicious. Our cashier (Julio, I believe) was kind and helpful. He even recommended a cheaper corkscrew than the one we were thinking about since we just needed a single-use corkscrew. I am impressed ... while reading some of the other reviews, you may be lead into thinking this shop is larger than it is. It's on the small side considering where the liquor market is headed with Bevmo, Wegmanns and Total Wine and Spirits offering a football field of choices. They key to this shop is that everything is well organized and the selection is good for a shop of it's size. I met the owner who is very knowledgable in wine and what he has to offer. I believe he is French, which adds a bit of authenticity to browsing the Boudreaux section. I felt like I could trust his recommendations and he was honest and did not pull any punches. He gave me a few informed choices and let me make up my mind vs. pushing one particular bottle on me, which I like. I've been at some stores where the owner is more concerned about clearing out a certain brand or a new product, so I can tell the picks they offer are based on that. However, here, I felt that the owner was doing his best to give me several great recommendations so I would return. And I will. After I got done, another (local) customer asked the owner to pick a wine that goes with mushroom soup, so that is how specific the knowledge is here! The cheese case here is unreal ... there are plenty of great cheeses to choose from and I felt the prices were on par or much better than Guido's or Wholefoods. Don't sleep on the fresh baked breads. I bought what may have been the best fresh sourdough baguette I ever tasted here. It tasted like fresh charred pizza crust. I smacked on it all day. I buzzed the beer selection which looked like it had a lot of very unique picks and they even had cigarettes behind the counter. I did not see cigars but I'm sure they had them somewhere. The store is classy looking ... exactly what you'd expect to find in a town like Stockbridge. I recommend stopping by if you are in town. This is our go to wine and cheese place in the Berkshires -- large selection, decent prices, and knowledgeable staff helps you make the best choices. They do tastings as well -- but not all the time so check in with them for the schedule. I like their Pinot Noirs from Oregon or Sonoma, CA. read more

Nejaime's definitely has a lot of wine! I'm not really a wine person, but I am impressed by their craft beer selection. Lots of local beers and kinds you cannot find at a grocery store. They have fine meats and cheeses, crackers, and homemade breads. They are the only place I have ever seen Tate's cookies. They take pride in selling locally made products, which I love. They even make up gift baskets. If you are in the area and like wine and beer, definitely worth the stop. read more

We picked up a picnic basket here on our way to date night at Naumkeag. We got the French country basket for two and it was generous and delicious. The lentil salad was delicious my husband's favorite was the small but incredibly dense fudge tart. We also picked up a couple bottles of wine. Great placed chock full of wines, cheese, specialty goodies and beers. Kind of out of the way tucked in next to some other businesses. We saw they were having a wine tasting so checked them out and were very impressed by the selection. Bought some great chicken curry and tried some great wine samples. Found a Fin du monde beer that was really inexpensive. The type of store we could get lost (and in trouble) in. Will be returning next time we're in the area. read more

Great market while traveling and looking for healthy and fresh prepared food. At first I was under the impression they only sold beer, liquor, and wine. Though I was impressed with the selection of food at this store. The fridge section has a variety of prepared spreads and cheeses. The salmon creme cheese and veggie spread was amazing. Not sure if they make it on the premises, but the containers had no labels. Also came across a few flavors of whole coffee bean. One product that stood out was the dark chocolate bark which had a mix of dry orange peels and almonds. read more

Sales staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They also have some really great bread to pair with the cheese.
