I found Ms. Nella through Yelp! It's been the best decision to have my son placed on the waitlist with her before he was even born because it was so hard to get a spot in her amazing home daycare. I placed my baby in her care since he was 6 months old and he's just been thriving. She's very attentive to each kid yet structures their day around the meals, fun activities and incorporates all the fun holiday activities for them. During each of the holidays they do fun activities-- this past holiday she had older kids come and read the little ones holiday books. My son loves-- LOVES playing in her backyard with all the play structures. Whenever I go to pick him up, he cries because he wants to play there longer. To me that's a great sign she dotes on them! As a FTM I was nervous about leaving my baby with anyone but she made it seamless. She sent us photos of our baby playing and eating throughout the day. I don't often write reviews but I feel like I just need to do this. My son Henry goes to Nella's daycare Wednesday to Friday. He is 10 months old. This is our first son and frankly it's been really tough adjusting. Nella has made it easy. She keeps me up to date with videos and pictures. The first day Henry was so happy to be around peers he didn't want to leave. I'm so blessed that my prayers came true and I found a person who has decades of experience. Nella is very helpful. She is very professional and her staff is so accommodating. I visited many other facilities and they were amazing but I wanted a more home like atmosphere in a nice family neighborhood. My son started going to ms. Nella when he was 2 we both absolutely love her and her family one of the hardest things we had to do when I decided to move back to Texas was say goodbye to her. He still FaceTimes her and his friends whenever we get the chance. My daughter has been going to Nella since she was 3 months old. As my first child I was so nervous finding daycare for when I went back to work. I checked out other places that were obvious like tutor time and they were so expensive and didn't seem very personable. Luckily I was recommended Nella by a friend and after the first day I felt so relieved that I found someone with the attentiveness and experience as Nella (and also at a more reasonable cost!). As a mom of three and a daycare provider for many years, she has acted as a mentor to me through all stages of development of my daughter. I came across Miss Nella's daycare on Yelp. After meeting her, I felt at ease about sending our daughter over. We are so blessed and grateful to her for taking such great care of our daughter. Without a doubt, Miss Nella is an excellent daycare provider. She is dedicated to the development of each child by ensuring goals are met at their own pace. My kid has been with Nella for a few years now and all I can say is that she provides the kids with a lot of TLC. She communicates very well with parents which is valuable and knowing that my child is in a safe environment while I'm at work. He's 18 now and in college, but we have Nella to thank us in assisting with his early foundation. She is a very warm person, and is great with kids. I posted this last month. I don't know what happened to it, but here it is again. I have been taking my daughter to Nella's Family Child Daycare for two and a half years. When my daughter started, she was 20 months old. She had spent the previous year in an orphanage. When she started, she didn't speak or understand English. As a result of Nella's nurturing, my daughter is a happy, well adjusted four year old who loves learning. She knows her letters, numbers, colors and shapes. She loves going to Nella's. Miss Nella is the most incredible caregiver I have ever met. We were fortunate to find her. She cared for my grandson until his mother decided to move to Texas. She was very accommodating when it came to special foods my grandson wanted to take with him and she also served many of his favorites for lunch and snack every day. She takes her kids on daily strolls and manages to work with each child individually when it comes to their scholastic levels. When my grandson started at the age of 2 he refused to color or try to even scribble. By the time he left he was enjoying this activity very much which helped him prepare for kindergarten. She found a way to make it fun for him. His mother and I would randomly get special texts and videos of him during the day when he was enjoying a special activity Miss Nella had planned for her children. I feel extremely lucky that we found Nella. She cared for my son for 8 years since the age of 18 months until he was a 9 year old 3rd grader. My son is now 18 and graduating Highschool and to this day he still considers Nella his second mom. He still keeps in touch and always mentions how amazing his time at Nella's daycare was. Nella provided a comfortable, warm, safe and positive environment for him that made him look forward to everyday he was at daycare. Nella encouraged him as he progressed through the years, instead of moving to a traditional preschool he remained with Nella up until we moved in 3rd grade.
