Have you ever called a doctor's office to make an appointment because you dropped something on your…read morefoot, and you want to see if your foot is broken, or cracked or even sprained...and to have the receptionist talk to you in a condescending rude way? If you call here, you will want to jump through the phone, and wring the receptionist's neck. That sounds so extreme, but that's how I felt after getting off the phone with her, and then again having to deal with her when I checked in for my appointment. I didn't appreciate her eye rolls, and under her breath sighs. I was also surprised by her behavior, because she is an older women you would think she would be more professional. The intake nurse was so nice, and helpful. So very kind when taking x-rays of my foot and vitals. Then Dr Dickerson came in and took a look at my x-rays for just a few seconds and said your foot is just fine. I said "Why does it hurt then, it feels like it's broken, especially when I walk." He said he didn't know, but if it continues to hurt come back, and then that was it. I saw him for maybe for 3 or 4 minutes at the most. Weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company saying I owe another $25 for my co-pay. Why did the rude receptionist not charge the correct co-pay in the first place, obviously she isn't very good at her job.

Dr Dickerson is great. He takes his time and explains things well and best of all he gives…read morepainless shots.

I found him to be very thorough,…read morecompassionate, and w/ a good bedside manner- never brief, even when I was feeling miserable he helped me to keep a positive outlook for recovery. I probably continued seeing him for at least 5 yrs, probably longer, after radioactive iodine treatment to shrink my thyroid to the size of a raisen, thereby needing thyroid medication for the rest if my life. I was 42 yrs old then- now 68. Sometime after the Grave's diagnosis & treatment I was also found to have an adrenal gland deficiency, again requiring life-long medication which now I learn has contributed to bone loss/osteoporosis. No one's fault but the medication. He even personally called me at home to report some blood test or another & ask how I was feeling. He & his nurse worked very well together & always answered all of my questions in a timely manner, & I had lots of questions. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Stanchfield. I had a very positive experience with him. I wish I could see him now but unfortunately he is not in my insurance network and I really don't need a specialist now. My thyroid levels have been stable for over 20 years. I am sorry for those of you who had a negative experience w/ him.

I was seeing Dr Stanchfield for almost a year…read more He told me up front he has 46 years of experience. Reality, he has one year of experience 46 times over, not even the same thing!! In the end I spent all my money on this doctor, had no choice but to go on Medicaid. Was dropped as a client, because this doctor refuses to accept Medicaid. And I never got the help I needed. A few months later I was referred to another doctor, within 30 minutes of my first visit with this new doctor, I was told I had CANCER!!
