When I asked about a website the owner immediately went into a sob story how they couldn't market and we're losing money and the government was against them, etc. They take NO credit cards, debit, PayPal, but they will take a starter check which is all I had! They collect the money when you leave! My dog started to get sick after drinking the water so I asked the owner when they had it tested last, he flew into another anti-government rage about permits, regulations, etc! Personally, I like regulations that keep drinking water safe. Then two days later a sheriff pulls up to my camp site and informed me that the owners wanted me to leave!!! When's the last time you had a sheriff called on you for asking about water quality?????? Needless to say I left and I would encourage RV travelers to pass this one by...

The staff are all extremely rude and have zero customer service. Im not sure if it was a caretaker or just an employee, but he stayed in a tent on the camp ground and act as camp police ensuring that there was no fun to be had... this means, no music, talking/laughing "loud" ... and this was all before their weekend quiet hours of 10:30. Honestly it was ridiculous. Also their tubing rental is a joke. Dont waste your time or money on their lacking operation. Do yourself a favor and go down to Jacks Tubing or Log Cabin... you will have a WAY better time.

Food menu was small but tasty. Add a cup of soup or chili to your meal. We had burgers and apps. Just fun on a snowy Saturday night in the Hayward/Cable/Clam Lake area.
