Such a beautiful selection of lush, healthy plant babies I've been twice and the staff is A1! Very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Selectionwise they have tons of plants and options and pricewise they are an excellent value!!! Some of the best pricing I've seen for such great quality plants. Definitely stop by for a visit and pickup a plant, or 2, or 3

The staff is so kind and friendly. Plants are gorgeous and priced really well! I left with 4 plants, but will definitely be back. They had such a wide variety of plants it was hard not taking more home.

This is a lovely local nursery, with lots of amazing plants to choose from. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor plants, in various sizes, to deliver in whatever you're looking for. And Nelson, the owner and operator is full of useful care tips. He's approachable, patient, straightforward and very helpful. Go give them a visit!

Absolutely the sweetest man with the most gorgeously cherry picked plants on the market. I have a few topiary "lollipop" non fruit bearing Olive trees that are the price of my landscaping. You cannot go wrong with Nelson's Greenhouse.

6' monstera for $12 (pot not included)

I started growing plants like a lot of people during COVID. I called ahead to see if they had any monstera plants. The man on the phone was very helpful and said he had a few 6 inch ones for $12. I thanked him and made my way to Nelson's. It's on the most western part of the valley. There's plenty of parking spots. The nursery is on the smaller side, but they have a wide variety of plants and flowers. I found more than a few monsteras actually. I picked a good looking fella (which I named Mike, short for Michael Scott). I went with my mom. She got three plants as well. The total was $25, which is not bad. They have a wide variety of outdoor plants, succulents, and indoor plants. Saw a few bambino fiddle leaf figs. I didn't go to the most back part but I think I saw large bags of soil that you could buy. There's a sign that says you must wear a mask when shopping, in case you were wondering. Support great small local businesses like Nelson's!

I was amazed. Could have stayed longer but, my family doesn't have the patience for long decision making. Prices- Awesome! Service- Awesome! Plant quality- Awesome! Selection- Awesome!

I've been looking up new nurseries to visit during the weekends and I am so happy to have found this one! They have a lot of unique plants and plants that I had been searching for to purchase in person. The owner has a good sense of humor and is very helpful. I picked up a desert rose that I'm excited to see bloom this time around but I'm looking forward to going back soon so I can pick up some other plants that are on my wish list.

I'll never forget my first trip here with my friend Sam, definitely need to hit her up again for a plant day, but absolutely still enjoy coming here with others and of course solo for some planty self-care. Adding some Elephant Bush (Portulacaria afra) friends to the plant family at home. Absolutely and 818/SFV/LA Valley favorite among many. You'll want to get lost between the many areas the have here and in the main area as well as their extended open air garden on the parking lot side. Staff here is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. From lawn and outdoor patio furniture or fixtures, fountains, decorations and plant care musts, GTN has a bit of it all. Even fun seasonal items and sales. Entrance in back, where you'll also find their parking lot, fairly spacious, but it can and does fill up on weekends. Restroom available for customers.

I found via Yelp that Paradise Nursery had an array of different types of citrus trees along with other fruit trees that I was interested in. The yellow brick road led us to a very busy free and down to the outskirts of Chatsworth. The exit from the freeway was easy and it took us straight to the nursery. I drove into the parking area and got out into the hot sun!! Citrus trees everywhere!!! It was quiet...strange. I thought there would have been more folks roaming the nursery. Guess what I found out that day as the owner (Shawn) was walking towards us. They were closed and I was trespassing (kidding!) he was nice enough to allow us to stay and find what we wanted to purchase. I felt bad. And also embarrassed at the same time. But here we are. Sixty miles away from home and all I wanted were the lemon trees. Shawn told us we can roam around and see if there was anything on his lot we would like to purchase. After a few minutes of checking out the citrus trees, my older sister wanted to see if there were other "species" of lemons. Lo and behold, she found the Buddha's' Hands and was adamant about bringing one home. Of course I couldn't say no to her so we got a 5-gallon one which had two fruits bearing the stem and then I found a mini Myer lemons and decided to bring both home. The trees came to the total of $118.00 and I cannot be any happier than to have forced my way into Shawn's nursery that day. He was a good sport and answered all the questions I had regarding taking my new plant babies home. Please note the nursery is closed Sunday and Monday. They also do delivery of your purchase to your home or office. I will be stopping by again and I promise this time, it won't be on Sunday!!
