Normally, when I place a baked goods order here, it comes exactly as i request, and the flavors are mind-blowing. However, on 6-21-26, I placed a specific order for 24 chocolate cupcakes with half of them white buttercream and half of them chocolate buttercream. I picked up and paid for 12 chocolate, 12 white cupcakes, all with white buttercream. As all of the decorators had gone home at the time of my pickup, nothing could be done. I was not pleased. Even though the cupcakes were delicious as always, I was miffed because I did not receive what I ordered. read more

I picked up my sons birthday cake today and was almost in tears. It was so ugly and not at all what I ordered. I asked the person taking the order to spray the cake yellow, with blue letters, and spring flowers. They gave me all white cake, with sky blue letters, and some yellow dots on it, that looked nothing like a flower. I asked to read the cake slip, and it said exactly what i wanted, but the cake they gave me looked nothing like the slip said it should. The lady at the bakery counter was very very rude to me. I asked for a manager, she looked me in my face and told me, THERE ISNT ANY MANAGERS HERE. Then proceeded to tell me the only thing she could do was put yellow sprinkles on the side, (MY SON HATES SPRINKLES). The guy behind the counter called a manager, eventhough the lady lied and said there wasnt one in the store. This changed my mood for the whole day, on my child's birthday. Good store but horrible delis. No green salads of any sort in cold deli and today for instance six starches and no green leafy vegetables at all. In fact, nothing green whatsoever. They never had Health class apparently or care about eating a balanced meal. read more

I've always heard that they have the best cakes so I ordered a cupcake cake. The flavor of the cake was good, but basic. It was moist which is always a good thing. I got 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla. There was wayyyy too much frosting on it. The pink icing also tasted terrible. In addition, the cake was on a board that was dirty. Clean friendly store with the best bakery in town . The cakes with whipped creme icing are amazing . Their home made breads are a treat . The deli is always fresh and stocked and the meat dept has quality cuts of meat that are fresh . read more

Their cakes are amazing! Staff in the bakery is great too! Store is pretty basic but convenient for not having to drive to boardman.

This place is very over priced compared to other local super markets...they do have a decent selection but the store seems out dated and overpriced. Overall I would suggest going to another super market if you want to get more bang for your buck. read more

Went to Nemitz groceries in Struthers. today went to the bakery area, They have really good Bakery goods. Noticed the store is very clean, the floors very shiny. I don't know that's a new floor but it looks very nice. t Produce and meats look very fresh. Much improved since my last visit. They still have the best bakery anywhere read more

I purchased two of your advertised 3lb packs of Spare Ribs this past week at the Struthers IGA. This was the worst case of deceptive packaging I have ever seen. Your store had one rack of ribs on the outside and the rest of the weight was made up of the pieces of mostly fatty pieces of scrap meat that were hidden by burying it under the one rib. This was the case for BOTH of the packages. I will tell all my friends about this. It was terrible to do this to good customers. read more

Good clean store, quick and easy for me... A guy shopper

This used to be a suitable supermarket years ago, but age and a more desperate clientele has made it a horror show. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is the dreadful decor. I would say everything in the place is vintage 70s or 80s with this sickly hue of yellow all over the store. The employees all look beat down in life and offee you only grunts and grumbles as you go through your shopping experience. There is also a huge amount of people who shop here who are on government assistance. If you have anywhere to be in a hurry, well forget it. we live in niles and my coworkers talk about how great the cakes are in the bakery, there homemade the best in the area. i was very disappointed with the first cake that i purchased there on 10-12-14 heard banana was the best well ours was dry,the bottom of the cake was over baked and the cake was very dense. called the bakery on monday eve and the woman told me when i ordered the cake they should of told me that the banana was dry & dense as so is there white cake also. was to that need to call back so i can speak to ron the bakery manager well 3 days later still can't get in contact with him:( read more
