love this walmart, the staff are amazing and very helpful, this is my favorite location in the area!

Whoever managed today should be embarrassed. One regular register open and one self checkout register open!! Yes one self checkout !! Bunch of employees walking around stocking shelves and looking at the two lines with 10+ people in each line. I know if the one manager was on duty this never would have happened. Idk her name but she's skinny, short, African American women and she does her thing! She's always running around making sure things are in order! Of course she wasn't there today. Went there to get a hunting license and tag for me and my son. We had 7 workers walk right past us as we try to get their attention. Then finally get one to ask us if we needed help. He said he had to get someone. 10 mins go by and he says he radioed someone and they will be coming. Then another 10 mins go by and another person comes up and says they will get someone. Waited 15 mins longer and was done. Meanwhile the whole time 10-15 more workers walk by and sit and talk the whole time we are waiting. I get it, you work at Walmart. But have the common courtesy to help people. read more

No one ever answers the phone when you call him when you have a problem about an order. They took away the delivery for $35 and over unless you join their club ha ha. And they took away the pharmacy pick up so these people that are very sick or cannot walk and we're going to get prescriptions. It was so much easier for them to come to the car. Guess when you pick a window for curbside, they mean they'll start shopping 59 mins of THAT window. Seen a order get walked to a few different cars. Hope orders don't get mixed. I tried calling 4 times for the garden department to find out if they had Venus Fly traps for my home. I was disconnected, hung up on, transferred multiple times, and still no answers. This place is horrible. Their sales associates for the most part are rude, inconsistent, and seem to think they're not here to help the customer in need. We, the people, are the reason why they have a job to begin with. Instead of the big chain stores, I'm now going local. It isn't worth the headache when local people will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you're looking for. read more

Just visited the Walmart in Boardman Ohio. They had just what I wanted at a price that I was happy with. Then the experience went bad from there. When I went to the register the price was different then the shelf. I understand this happens. Items get misplaced. But the shelves had no tag that reflected the price they were telling me. Going to customer service the representative had to get a manager involved which refused to help my customer service needs. calling the 1-800 number also was no help. I walked thirty yards to the business next door and they gladly took my money. At the price Walmart wouldn't honor. I bought numerous tires and groceries, electronics from your company. It won't happen again. Remember as a consumer our money will spend anywhere. Walmart will never see my again. read more

Ghetto...so ghetto. I've been to a lot of Walmarts, and this one is pretty damn ghetto. Also it's under construction. I didn't buy anything here because we were looking for alcohol and they didn't have any. The service was really sassy when I asked about it, too. "Do we serve alcohol? No. Do we sell alcohol? While at your Walmart in Boardman, Ohio we were treated very rude by your associates!!!! Very unfriendly, were not helpful at all... While looking for an item we were handed off to another associate. "Just go over there to the desk in a rather rude remark." So we found our way over to "the desk" and that person didn't have time to help us. While passing through 3 of your unfriendly staff could not talk to us because they were flirting with each other. So at this point I gave up and walked out of store not buying anything!!!!! After my third horrid experience at this specific Walmart I'm leaving a review. In this instance, I made the mistake of shopping on a Saturday morning I guess. Upon walking into the store a customer told me to get out of the way. Again, this isn't the first time that I've experienced customers at this store who are bold in their inexplicable rudeness. Five minutes into shopping an employee bumps into my cart while rounding a corner, sighs loudly, and says to another employee, "Why is everyone f****** here today?" Might seem small but I'm done shopping there. There are businesses and employees that would beg to see their store full in the middle of this pandemic. I'll take my money where it's appreciated. Would give zeros stars! Terrible place!! Will try a different Walmart, otherwise I might be done with that store altogether. Had us wait "this won't take long" because some woman's WIC card wouldn't take (another reason to avoid Wmarts in general, they attract gov't owned people). So we finally packed up and went to their failed self service checkout (even though there are rows of empty checkouts). First one failed "wait for assistance", left that stuff, second one failed for the same "wait for assistance". That and the fact they didn't have the product they said was in-store so we had to go to Lowes anyway! read more

It's not bad or dirty, least the few times I've been in there. But their product selection is lacking. Probably has to do with being a converted D1 store, which you can tell because it only has one door. The Austintown location is the best, it's massive and has a wide selection. read more

Awful service, took literally 2 hours in the checkout for them to get my visa card to work, they are clueless as hell, never going again

NO RATING AT ALL!!!!! I purchased an online item to have shipped to the Poland Walmart super center in Ohio and an unauthorized person picked up the item! They gave my pick up person a hard time, asking for id and order number to pick up this item. When all my person had to do was show id. They couldn't replace my item or give me a refund because they said they have someone on video picking up the item but couldn't identify the person. I wish I had read the negative reviews before I sent my item to this store for pick up. I would give this Walmart 0 stars if I could. This store is in the most inconvenient area you could think of, it was already a small store, but then after the remodel and they added groceries it is the most cramped retail store I have even been too. If you like people elbow to elbow and waiting for a half hour in check out then this is the store for you. read more

I love our newly remodeled WALMART. We just got more groceries, I love this new area, everyone is so helpful. Now, I can really get almost everything I need at this one store. No problems with returns or exchanges. This store is spacious & clean. Even though there may be a few employees that seem upset, most of them are very nice. (Employees do help make a comfortable shopping experience.) I've been shopping here since it opened in 1962 and even though I've moved further away, I'm still there a few times a month or more... Out of all Walmart's I've ever visited, this one has to be the one with the worst customer service ever. I haven't met one cashier that has yet to greet me with a smile, and thank me for visiting. In fact; Last time I went, the cashier did nothing but complain about how she disliked working there to her co-worker, didn't even acknowledge my presence, and pretty much threw the receipt at me and proceeded to chat to her co-worker and have an attitude with me. My wife and I shop here often. Unfortunately, after the experience this evening, I am now thinking I'd rather go anywhere else but there! There were a couple of "interesting" customers, but we weren't upset until we attempted to checkout. After getting to the registers, we realized there were a maximum of 5 open on a Saturday evening. Considering there were a minimum of 10 people in each line waiting to check out, we found this to be completely unacceptable. It was a horrible experience, and we intend to make it known.
