The real stars of the starters were the Aloo Jeera (sautéed potatoes with onion, simple but incredible) and the Chana Chat (delicious chickpeas with just the right firmness, texture, and taste). If you like spice, try the Tea Momo: braided steamed buns which are bready and bland on their own, but the perfect vehicle to soak up the juicy, spicy vegetables that come with it and really pack a punch. The Chicken Curry, on the other hand, was not at all spicy as expected, but still subtly layered with rich and satisfying flavors and some of the best I've ever had. The Thukpa, traditional Tibetan noodle soup, was another tasty choice. A nice break from traditional Portuguese food, and some of the best in the city overall.
