You'll likely see numerous reviews from me here on this business. As I've been coming here since the owner opened years ago. Most recently this time for a back issue. Twisted wrong and could hardly tie my shoes or get dressed. Hands down this has to be the easiest PT around to work with. Call them directly, they contact your doctor for the referral. Friendly front desk, easy to schedule with, great to work with. One on one, not one PT with 2 or more patients. Had a few weeks scheduled but within a week and a half and doing my "homework" I was "back on track ". I'm a big fan of supporting small businesses as they usually go the extra mile, and Nephew is no exception. I'll continue to come here anytime I need PT! read more

I walked, I mean hobbled, into Nephew PT in so much pain I wasn't sure they could do anything for me. I couldn't walk, stand, sit, or sleep. The first appointment was mostly deep tissue massage to try and get the muscles to relax. I was given a couple of simple, small exercises to try and do at home. I wasn't cured in that first appointment, but I started feeling hopeful I would get better. There was improvement in my level of pain after every appointment. The pain moved around as the pinched nerve became less impacted and started to heal, but it was manageable. And then I noticed, I was pain free for longer periods of time. After 6 weeks, we have transitioned from alleviating pain, to building my strength back in those affected muscles. Thank you Naomi and Christine. I have my life back. read more

Before becoming a patient of Nephew's, I had a bad experience with physical therapy. I went for a long time and really made no discernable progress. This time I tried Nephew Physical Therapy and the experience was much more positive! I went in for shoulder pain that wasn't allowing me to lift weights any longer. The pain had gotten so bad, it was even keeping me up at night. I finally tried physical therapy again at the urging of my Primary Care Physician and my wife's. Right from the beginning, this experience was totally different. I worked with Christine at the beginning, who made sure I understood what the issue was and how we were going to tackle it. I then alternated between Jenna and Naomi for most of my follow-up appointments. I was blown away by the knowledge of the human body all three possess. This office also has the unique ability to be professional, while making it an enjoyable experience, which I've found to be somewhat rare in the medical community. They gave me back the ability to lift weights and also the blessing of being able to sleep, without being kept awake by my shoulder pain. I am thankful for the whole team at Nephew, including Brittany and Dawn in the office, as well as management. They all made me feel welcome and I won't hesitate to give them a call if I develop any new aches and pains in the future. read more

I am a pediatric physical therapist who needed physical therapy on my back. Crawling on the floor with kids all day sounds like fun, but 30 years has taken it's toll. I thought I was going to have to give up playing"" with my sweet kiddos! Christi, Naomi and the whole gang were all great and understood how much it meant to me and my clients to get back to 100%. So many families in Western Michigan would be so grateful if they knew how close I was to having to give up pediatric therapy. My evaluation was thorough and the follow up sessions were tailored to my needs that day, but also focused on strengthening me to return to work for the long haul. The staff here is patient and kind. They are there to help guide and help you in fixing whatever the issue is. My problem was my shoulders were in a lot of pain. I worked factory so it was a lot of repetitive movements that I had to do. Unfortunately , I was using the wrong muscles which caused my shoulders to be all tense and flared up. Having to train the right muscle was difficult but if you stick to the homework that's given and meet up with your PT daily, progress will happen. This place is truly amazing. Everyone that works there is very friendly and makes you feel truly valued. They explained exactly why I was feeling pain in my knee and told me how they planned to correct it. Can't say enough good things about Nephew! I will never be able to truly express how grateful I am for Nephew Physical Therapy. I felt better at 39 weeks pregnant then when I got pregnant... yes, you read that right!! Following a rough childbirth and postpartum recovery, simple things like going to the bathroom, walking up the stairs, sitting and bending down were all extremely painful. I had 10 months of doctors appointments and seeing a physical therapist in Virginia, where little progress was made in my recovery. We moved to the area when I was 20 weeks pregnant and luckily my new OBGYN referred me to Nephew Physical Therapy. Melissa did a very thorough initial physical exam and took a detailed history. She became determined to help me no longer live in constant pain. With her hands on approach of manual therapy and strengthening, I noticed a difference in my body and symptoms after two appointments. I was given easy exercises to complete at home to continue what we worked on during appointments. I was always welcomed with enthusiasm and kindness and treated with respect by every staff member. They even welcomed and helped with my one year old daughter during my appointments. This office treats you like family and invests in your own recovery which is hard to find these days. Nephew Physical Therapy is the main reason I felt as well as I did throughout my second pregnancy and for childbirth. By the time I graduated at 38 weeks pregnant, it was no longer painful to go to the bathroom and I was chasing my toddler around without pain, all while I had a big 9 month baby bump!!
