First, the family member whom wrote the obituary obviously had ZERO guidance from the staff whom see these all the time. During a grieving process the family is already stresse. im Sure there is a standard firmware and DECORUM that would ensure a respectable written obituar. The staff failed my sister in law!!! I tried to add photos and a des and it would not allow. read more

Terry Edwards.. was a godsend. we were coming from out of town, he had to stay late. we wanted a visitation, he moved mountains. throughout he was dignified but also very real, even with some laughs. this guy knows exactly how to handle such hard circumstances. read more

It was one of the hardest weeks of our lives, and I had never used West Coast Pet Memorial before, but I'm so glad that I did. They were empathetic, professional, gentle, and genuinely kind. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and they treated our grief with respect and gave us the time and space we needed. We chose individual cremation for both cats, and I feel like the price was more than fair considering the quality and care we received. My mom's cat came back in a lovely engraved flower box that was sweet and perfect for her. Butter came back in their standard cedar box, which was also absolutely beautiful and felt solid and very nicely made. Both urns came with engraved nameplates and official certificates of cremation. We also purchased the print paws just to have a memory of their little paws. They had a lot of options of urns and keepsakes. Each cat passed away on a Friday and we were able to pick up their cremains by Monday. As awful as this week was, I'm grateful for how gently we were held through it. I'll always remember the compassion they showed us. Thank you West Coast Pet Memorial Service.

I have never been to a funeral as unprepared as they were for the funeral I went to a week ago. Not enough seating. They got her place of death wrong. They were also heard saying things like, could this woman have anymore friends. And telling the pallbearers to not drop her. Who says these thing at a service of a woman who was loved by so many. I'm sure I will never use this place for any upcoming members of my family. Pray to god I don't have to need any funeral services anytime soon.

When I went to the funeral home the price was exactly as stated earlier, and there was no pressure selling in any way. They helped me complete the death certificate and, as soon as ready picked it up for me from the downtown office. There was no extra charge like some other places. My ashes were ready right away too.
