So when the place is full or there's a lot of kids, it can be noisy. But it's too be expected. There's also a couple small dogs in the store. They keep to themselves. They had a decent selection of pottery to choose from. However, I think we wished there was a little more. We wanted to paint some of the marvel characters that we saw in a picture and also saw as a finished product on the shelf, but they were sold out. It's $8 to sit and then the price of the pottery on top of it. It's not cheap, but you're paying for the entertainment of it, the experience and memories, as well as, bringing home a one of a kind painted pottery. Additionally, there's a credit card fee if you pay with credit card. So I opted to pay in cash. Owners/staff are friendly. The staff offered suggestions on how to start painting (e.g. sketching out my design with a pencil first). But be patient, the owners have broken English. Beads labeled at $8- $10 on the display ring up at $11- $14 at checkout. This didn't happen once, but the last 6 times I visited this store. it's disappointing that for this being the only arts and crafts store in the area, after putting smaller stores out of busines, that they operate like this. On google the price hikes are blaming inflation and tariffs but Michael's charges $21 dollars for Ranger ink pads, when they are $14 at Ranger's own website.

They're usually open until 8pm so if you needed a gift or some other item quick, they'd be easy enough to get to after a regular work schedule if you live in or are visiting the area. All of the sales team that work there are super friendly and can assist you if you're looking for something in particular. They must have a big problem with shoplifting because at least three of the staff were patrolling the aisles and watching customers like a hawk. They sell the $60 Labubus so the store was busy, but half the customers put them back on the shelf when they saw the price. I'd say this is a cute place to look at if you're nearby, but do your research on more reasonable options in the city before you spend your money here.
