When we told him we did not intend to pay full price since the job wasn't completed, he threatened to put a lien on our house, stating he had 7 liens on other homes and wouldn't even need an attorney to do it. We learned you can't believe anything he says as he flat out lied throughout the entire process, so not sure if he actually has liens on other homes but I would not put it past him. Save yourself unnecessary expense and a LOT of frustration and DO NOT work with him!! I only wish we'd checked into his credentials more thoroughly before cont with him.

However, almost without exception, everything needed repairs and adjustments. The new thermostat refused to work, the a/c and humidifier blower was so loud we had trouble hearing the TV, water dripped from the bathroom exhaust fans (and still does), and the exterior grate for the exhaust fans rusted. After many, many service calls, most of the problems were fixed with the exception of the dripping exhaust fans and the rusty grate, which they refused to replace. We paid a high premium for Eickmeyer's services, mostly because of their reputation, but we were sorely disappointed.

In…read moreNovember 20 20 I had Zeratzky install a new furnace as they stated my 13 year old furnace was bad. They came , they did the work , but then when the time came for them to leave they informed me that the furnace filter that they were putting in kept popping a fuse so that I should go purchase a poorer quality filter. They didn't even give me a filter-- who pays $4209 for a furnace and doesn't even get a filter??. So I just let that go went and bought the poor quality filter. Jump ahead to October 20 21 furnace is not quite a year old it's 11 months and it been used for six months I go to turn it on and nothing. Isn't working. So I call them and explain what's going on and the next day they sent out a tech. Took the tech a while as he couldn't figure out what was going on but eventually diagnosed that a fuse inside the furnace had blown. He replaced fuse and off he went. Now my thinking is the furnace is less than a year old so warranty work- right??? wrong-- sent me a bill for $100 to service the furnace that was less than a year old I would rate that poor customer service if you can't even warranty a furnace that has been installed by your company and that's less than a year old-- somethings wrong. My recommendation lots of air and furnace people in the area go somewhere else don't deal with them!!! BTW- check plus interest is in the mail!!

A couple years ago during a heat wave my A/C quit blowing cool. They had someone out that afternoon to diagnose and charge it. A little pricey, but I needed it and they came through. This year I wanted a whole home humidifier installed. the owner came out and quoted me a good price. Great guy. I called the next week to schedule. They said they would call me back. I tried to schedule calling every week or so for 6 weeks before someone finally got back to me to schedule. For $50 more than the original quote. I didn't want to argue with the receptionist over what I was originally quoted and then have to wait another 6 weeks so I just went with it. The installers were great and the install process was painless. So. I will call them again first for my next repair/install, and hope I get the Amazing GPS, and not the Disappointing GPS.

They are unorganized and unprofessiona. They cursed at my fiancé and my 15y/o daughter about this and filed a small courts claim for 70$ that they mistakenly forgot to send out...I would not recommend this company to anyone.
