[ endif ] About Us In 1969 Henry E. Johnston started cleaning ductwork evenings and weekends. Working out of his home the first years, part time, with a cleaning truck and a toolbox, the demand for his services continued to increase. As his business began to grow and as did his son, he quit is full time job and began working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In 1975, his son Henry K. Johnston began Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning school and graduated from MATC in Milwaukee, WI. With the help of his son, in 1978 they formed Johnston Furnace Service Corp Now a third generation has joined the team Matthew Henry Johnston. Matthew graduated May, 2007 from Northeast Wisconsin Techinical College with his degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. The company has continued to grow for the past 39+ years and has expanded their services in Residential, Industrial, and Commercial. Since then the Service, Installation, and Sheet Metal Fabrication has emerged. We called about a leaking pipe under the house. While they were under the house, they discovered…read morethat it was our baseboard heating that was leaking. While he was under the house I told him that the clean out valve under the kitchen sink was also leaking. Turned on the water to show him and he agreed, it was leaking. We also discussed a leaking Moen kitchen faucet and he took a picture of it to get the replacement part. While they were here, we also discussed possibly replacing our water softener. 5 months later having heard nothing from them, I asked if he could recommend a faster plumber. He said they never came back because we didn't reply to the estimate he sent us for a water softener. We never received an estimate or a bill. The water softener was not our main priority when we called him. Our main priority was the leak under the house which was fixed our heating company. No, I'm no plumber but as a retired Navy veteran, I understand that fixing the leak is always the main priority when multiple tasks are needed. If a light fixture was not working in the room where the leak was located, the priority would not be getting an estimate on replacing the light fixture. The main priority should always be stopping the leak. I would think that might translate to the plumbing industry also. We had three leaks and they fixed none of them. We did not call them out here to mail us an estimate for a water softener. We called them out here because we had leaks. This isn't rocket science. To top it off he said he wouldn't come out here even after finding out that we didn't get his estimate because he didn't like my attitude. Well I'm sorry, but after waiting 5 months and hearing nothing back from them I think I'm allowed a little leeway in temperament. He had our landline number, cell phone number and address but we heard nothing from him. He said because he didn't hear back from us, that's why he didn't come back to fix the leaks. So I guess the bottom line is if he can't sell us a water softener, he's not going to fix our leaks. I guess all he saw was dollar signs when we asked him to send us an estimate for a water softener. Poor customer service and zero follow-up with the customer will lose you money every time. He said he didn't call us because he didn't want to bother us. Unfortunately the US postal service is not as reliable as it once was so he was never going to hear from us. I doubt we will ever see his estimate, late or otherwise. From my point of view, we called about leaks under the house and in the kitchen sink and got no help. He got upset when I called him out him about not getting in touch with us, and he was very rude about it. I'm not the bad guy here. I'm just the customer with leaking plumbing in the house 5 months after calling this guy. Buyer beware.

There are to many others out here that are half ass and will do a half ass job, not Nerat's! You can count on them.

July of 2020 I had Zeratsky install Central air in my home. No problem everything went good. In…read moreNovember 20 20 I had Zeratzky install a new furnace as they stated my 13 year old furnace was bad. They came , they did the work , but then when the time came for them to leave they informed me that the furnace filter that they were putting in kept popping a fuse so that I should go purchase a poorer quality filter. They didn't even give me a filter-- who pays $4209 for a furnace and doesn't even get a filter??. So I just let that go went and bought the poor quality filter. Jump ahead to October 20 21 furnace is not quite a year old it's 11 months and it been used for six months I go to turn it on and nothing. Isn't working. So I call them and explain what's going on and the next day they sent out a tech. Took the tech a while as he couldn't figure out what was going on but eventually diagnosed that a fuse inside the furnace had blown. He replaced fuse and off he went. Now my thinking is the furnace is less than a year old so warranty work- right??? wrong-- sent me a bill for $100 to service the furnace that was less than a year old I would rate that poor customer service if you can't even warranty a furnace that has been installed by your company and that's less than a year old-- somethings wrong. My recommendation lots of air and furnace people in the area go somewhere else don't deal with them!!! BTW- check plus interest is in the mail!!

A couple years ago during a heat wave my A/C quit blowing cool. They had someone out that afternoon to diagnose and charge it. A little pricey, but I needed it and they came through. This year I wanted a whole home humidifier installed. the owner came out and quoted me a good price. Great guy. I called the next week to schedule. They said they would call me back. I tried to schedule calling every week or so for 6 weeks before someone finally got back to me to schedule. For $50 more than the original quote. I didn't want to argue with the receptionist over what I was originally quoted and then have to wait another 6 weeks so I just went with it. The installers were great and the install process was painless. So. I will call them again first for my next repair/install, and hope I get the Amazing GPS, and not the Disappointing GPS.

I never got the bill even called multiple times to get schedule in. Never returned my calls. After months my heater went out and I had some one else replace it. Finally 11 months exact I recei the first piece of mail from them stating I owed 70$ plus late fees the equaled to 240$.. when they should have sent me the bill the following business day. They are unorganized and unprofessiona. They cursed at my fiancé and my 15y/o daughter about this and filed a small courts claim for 70$ that they mistakenly forgot to send out...I would not recommend this company to anyone.
