I came here after hearing other members talking about how nice it was, and I keep coming back because I love the instructors here! Eva from Zumba and Emelissa from Turn Up Dance Fitness are both amazing instructors who are getting me genuinely excited for my workout every week! It's about a 25 min drive from my house, which is located within walking distance from the Winter Park location, but to me it is well worth it for the talented instructors! If you aren't familiar with the YMCA or just needing a quick refresh, it's a family and community centered fitness facility that relies heavily on donations and volunteers. The memberships recently had a revamp and now have different options to meet your budget and goals. My friend told me about how amazing it was for her when she was a new mom and it's done the same for me and my family - helped us spend more time exercising, moving our bodies and connecting with our community. The childcare is SO helpful for my husband and I to get our workouts in, and I really love both the space and the people who watch the children. This particular location has an area for littles and a separate area for teens. They also have a splash pad that's perfect for cooling the kids off on a hot day. The pool is located outside by the splash pad and they have open swim, reserved lanes, Aqua Zumba classes, swimming lessons and more. This location also offers fitness classes for toddlers, kids and teens that I don't see available at other locations. The locker rooms and bathrooms give off serious spa vibes! The tile and finishes were done so well. My only gripe is that there is no sauna or steam room at this location. There are also family restrooms with individual bathrooms separate from the locker rooms. The weight room at this facility is huge, open and airy. The studios used for classes are really beautiful with wood floors, big floor to ceiling windows and a large mirror wall. I will say, the max capacity is 20 for classes, so make sure you sign up in advance and show up early. The rooms should be a bit bigger, but the designer used a lot of the space in the hallway to house a grand staircase with large LED chandeliers on the ceiling. Form over function at its finest! All jokes aside, this place was done so well, it really brings a modern feel to the Y. There's even a much younger crowd at this location. The surrounding area is currently under a major reconstruction and will soon become a very sought after neighborhood - the Packing District! The Y offers free trials so definitely take them up on the offer, or ask a friend to take you with their guest pass. It might just be the inspiration you need to start a new fitness routine!

Meila assessed my current condition and during our session was attentive to my concerns, encouraged me with helpful feedback and didn't push me too much when I needed to alter certain exercises. She's a good listener, attentive and patient. I look forward to regularly participating in the services offered at this location as well as attending classes with Meila, who offers deep Strengthening routines for building stamina if you're a little out of practice, like myself...I highly recommend.

The tea is served by volunteers that raise funds for needy children in the community. It is held twice a month and is quite the nice experience if you have friends or a group for a nice tea luncheon. We toured the facilities, the workshops, we actually sat down for some demos from the visual arts department, and then gathered around a kiln for a raku ceramics demo, which was ideal on a cold winter afternoon (winter in Florida?). Also, we were able to visit the gallery, which was hosting a photograph exhibit on the history of turn of the century Lake Apopka, about 40 miles away due West, and that was very interesting and enlightening. We also printed a poster, among other things. Personally, I think it was fun to talk/meet some of the faculty, not that I am immediately looking for a new teacher, but it is good to pick one who has some similarities, or none at all. Challenge yourself. After this visit, I will consider taking some classes here. Or come to more events. I really like Crealdé.

I called today (9 days before the first day) and I was told that it was too late and the last day was Yesterday (10/09/23) (10 days before first session). I pointed out the policy and was told that "session" didn't mean class and it was incorrect so I couldn't get my money back. This is fraudulent. I will be contacting the correct state department for this. This is extremely unprofessional and clearly lacks clarity. If your policy is outdated, correct it on the website. I swear, sometimes it feels like I'm walking down the stairs at the Gatsby Estate. Next, this space is geared towards tech start-ups and related fields. This means that everyone that's working alongside you is doing something creative and crazy cool. The networking alone on a daily basis is worth the membership fee! (Spoken like a non-techie...) The space itself is open-plan and reminds me of the Yelp headquarters in San Fran (or any tech hub in that city). Wide long tables allow you to work alongside new people or change your scenery and move over to the couches. They also have a shared kitchen with water, coffee, and even a few beer kegs for after-hour mingling! Probably one of the coolest features is the meeting space. Canvs has quite a few conference rooms of different sizes for large groups as well as small. Each room can be reserved for the day (for a very low fee compared to other meeting spaces) and you get to hold meetings in one of the coolest 'offices' in Orlando. Don't miss the bike rack wall! Making me feel like a total tool for driving, but also working with the SunRail tracks just outside the windows to serve as a not-so-subtle reminder that there are other transportation options in this town!! ~Yay!~ Drop in ($25 day pass) to check it out and soak in how cool this city is getting!!

Walking in and seeing the fountain is always a highlight. The Canvs space is large with mostly desks for rent throughout. My favorite part of my Canvs membership is their conference rooms. They have three sizes ranging from small (2-3 people), medium (6-7 people) and large (15+ people). Most of the rooms have whiteboards and all have large tv monitors for screen sharing. The kitchen is truly awesome! My guests always enjoy the free snacks (peanut butter pretzels anyone?) and freshly brewed coffee. I have been a member now for nearly a couple years and highly recommend it. The people are great and the space productive. Check it out!

For the services that we've gone for they have been very reliable and understanding.
