After reading all these great reviews, I was excited to try out this salon in hopes to find a new hairdresser since mine had not returned from maternity leave in quiet sometime. My appointment was with Valerie. Very nice, but my hair was absolutely awful! She has no idea what she is doing. I am very disappointed that a salon that is highly rated and scaled that it is would even have a person with her skill level working there. I know we all need to start somewhere.... But my goodness is she terrible. All I needed was a root touch up.... I had long blonde healthy hair with a considerable amount of out grow, (because of waiting so long for my original stylist to come back) and I left with copper roots, and HUGE orange blotches of color at the root throughout my entire head! The worst part is, is that she didn't even have the decency to say she had made a mistake! It wasn't until I got home and actually starting moving my hair around that I noticed this! Anyways, I call to have my hair corrected and I'm told "I'm so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, Valerie is a new stylist." This again left me very disappointed because when I had scheduled my appointment I specifically asked for a stylist with ATLEAST 4 years of experience. I had to come back to have my hair corrected. Michelle did a great job at doing what she could to correct it. I unfortunately still have the blotches of color in my hair, and my hair is still not the color I wanted. I was told to come back and pay for another service to finish covering up all the damage that she has done. My hair now feels like straw, fairly damaged, and not a color that makes me feel confident. Historically I would've given this location 5 stars, but just before the holidays I went in for my normal hair appointment and the experience was a disaster. First of all, they booked my appointment wrong. I've been going here for 3 years and get the same service every time but somehow when I booked it this time they booked the wrong thing. When trying to work it out, the woman at the front was rude and basically blamed me for their mistake. My stylist got involved and confirmed it was their error and apologized but still the other staff were rude. Then normally someone offers to take your coat and give you water or tea, none of which happened. I also had what was supposed to be a 80 minute massage after my hair appointment which became 50 because of the scheduling issues. The massage was as the worst I ever had at this location. The massage therapist was clearly not trained well and unprofessional talking the entire time about her life struggles even after I didn't respond and gave no inclination of wanting any talking. Finally when I went to pay I was asked by the manager 'how was everything?'. She then indicated she was aware of the scheduling issue so besides that how was everything and I said my stylist was as always great but the rest not so good. She apologized and asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment which normally I would, but I did not. I was not going to write this review but I'm talking with other Neroli regulars I've discovered they have also had unpleasant experiences here recently. I'm not sure what's going on. I never minded paying more because you truly felt pampered her but after my last experience I'd be hesitant at best to return. Accidents happen but it's how you recover that matters. I've gotten my hair done here (Cameron), my eyebrows, and my nails (Simone). Every experience has been really nice. Cameron really knows how to deal with my naturally curly hair and the eyebrow wax was quick and easy. Simone did an amazing job on my nails. I've never had non-gel nail polish stay on this long (5 days and counting) without chipping. I highly recommend Neroli for all your salon needs. read more

Got my hair dyed which ended up with a reddish/copper top on top of my head with uneven color...had to go back all the way back to get a consult with the stylist which she didn't acknowledge there was unevenness to the color and attributed the copper top to the lighting. Scheduled another appt. to get it fixed by another stylist who immediately noticed the problem and knew how to fix it. In summary, took a lot of time/trips to get a hair done. I've been a Neroli customer for over 10 years, but I always chose simple hair styles. I have long hair and most of the time I got a trim to get rid of dry ends - no drastically different hair cuts and no color. The one time I came in wanting a balayage and showed 5 pictures of the hair color and style that is just like mine (very easy to copy), I got something that looks nothing like balayage, but rather a few highlights from roots to ends, this was $250+ later and 2 attempts by the highest level stylist. If you're looking for a trendy look and a different style than what you have, I would not recommend this salon. read more

Jill E gave me the back facial; she was friendly, but not too chatty, explained the process very well and overall was great in performing the back facial! Kim greeted me when I arrived. The staff is always knowledgeable and attentive, but in a cool and relaxed sort of way- from offering a beverage upon arrival to suggesting products or services during your stay to helping you schedule a follow up appointment or service before you depart. I have been getting my hair colored for almost 20 years and have never had a bad experience until I went to this location. I've been trying Neroli and different stylists the past year for root touch ups only and it was working fine. Nothing great but it was getting the job done. I started going to Neroli because it was easier in my schedule and close to my new home being and I'm a new mom. I took a chance and had more extensive color done the last time I was there and it just was not a good experience. My hair one week after was completely crunchy, fried and damaged. The brown shadow rooting was also starting to turn green and hollow. So bad that I had to go crawling back to my old stylist of 15 years and had to get an additional 5 inches chopped off just to be able to brush through it and 7 hours of color correction and $475 later. IVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN BEFORE. I was in shock and slightly traumatized and the last thing I wanted to do was go back there and have them "fix it". No way!!!! I called to let them know of my experience and that I would feel more comfortable if they just refunded me for the bad experience. They were not interested in that because they hadn't seen my hair directly after. Ive never complained to a business before, was out of my comfort zone and ultimately felt like they didn't trust that I had a bad experience and didn't take ownership. Is it really Worth the negative word of mouth that will come from treating you client that way? Wouldn't it be a better business decision from a PR standpoint for me to go around saying, you know they messed up, but they made things right. The customer service was the worst I've ever had. I do not feel like a valued customer at all! I would highly recommend spending your money at other salons. read more

My first dissapointing facial at Neroli. I only go to Neroli about once a year currently. I go during my birthday week as a treat because I count on them to be fabulous. They are a little pricier than other spas but I will pay that to get the best. Not yesterday. Tried the refinement facial. Got a bad vibe right off the bat from aesthetician. Not sure why this is an 80 min facial because it seemed like she was just trying to kill time between steps. Skin felt great after but it's about the whole experience.Hand & arm massage was weak, minimal effort put into it. What really put me over was the head/scalp massage. It was more of a tangling/knotting/pulling of my hair that went on forever, again I think to kill time. I just wanted to scream STOP already. Would have much rather had a foot massage. I usually leave there praising & thanking person for facial or massage but not this time. I tipped low but now wish I tipped nothing. I am an avid spa goer so I feel I do know the difference between a great & poor service. I will have to decide if I'll give them another chance next time. read more

Tried this place twice for nail services. You'd think for the price it would be great but that's not the case. Had a manicure and pedicure and will never go back. They were late for both appointments for starters. The pedicure only lasted about two weeks before the polished chipped. I usually can go about 6 weeks. Had a manicure today which took only about 20 minutes and could have done better myself and it cost 26.00'for a basic and I mean basic manicure. Had to redo two of the nails when I got home. Neroli once called me for changing my appointment's location and I didn't know which one of the locations was calling me. I just got to know its the one on the Capitol Drive. I said sure I'll go there but can you please give me your complete address or a nearby landmark as I don't know where it is. She said "next time call the call center to get the address". I didn't even know they have a call center. I scheduled the appointment and she neither gave me the address nor the call center number where I could call to just get the address. I used to go to neroli bay shore in Milwaukee, WI for many years for eyebrows . Last year I become a grandma. For the last 12 months I went there monthly with my daughter in law and the grandbaby. We always had perfect service. Today we have been told by Sara G. that we are not allowed to come with the baby anymore! By the way, the baby never made a noice , never created any disturbance to anyone. Baby was sleeping the entire time!I feel terrible. Now I have to find another location. I looked everywhere in neroli web site, there is no restrictions about babies on their premises. This is the perfect example of discrimination against woman with babies! read more

I Love this place ! I love Lydia ! She gave me the greatest hairstyle ever ! I also had my hair colored. The color was beautiful and I had ton of compliments ! Lydia is also great at manicures and pedicures ! Definetly worth my money. They offer free beverages and constantly check for your comfort ! A winner in my book ! read more
