However, this one was substandard. As some of the previous reviewers have mentioned, "you get what you pay for," but in my humble opinion, we deserve at least the BARE minimum. This place is in dire need of a remodeling or simply needs to be razed. Pros: -The staff we interacted with were considerate and kind. We had a delayed flight and ended up driving from Buffalo to Ithaca at around midnight. The front desk worker called us to make after-hours check-in arrangements, and left our card in a lockbox in the lobby. - Beds were decently comfortable - In a very convenient location--a few steps away from Wegmans, Trader Joe's, etc. - Water pressure and temperature in the shower were okay. Cons: -I don't care about outdated furniture, but I draw the line at visibly DIRTY. This place had the grimiest, nastiest carpet that had probably never been cleaned since the 80s or whenever Meadow Court Inn was built. If you decide to stay here, BRING slippers, or just never take your shoes off. I reserved a designated pair of socks to walk on the carpet. - We were put up in a smoke-free room, but everything still reeked of stale cigarettes. Everything smelled musty. -There was a coating of dust on everything. -The coating on the tub was flaking.
