My group and I had a very positive experience. The Keuka Lake property was absolutely gorgeous. Fully furnished, clean, and we had an amazing time. Loved the tiki bar, back deck, and hot tub. We rented a cabin in Honeoye. We were delayed arriving as we drove from a funeral 6 hours away. When we arrived there were no lights on and it was extremely dark and we even had trouble locating the cabin. When we finally went in we were greeted with a very strong cat urine smell. This was supposed to be a no pets residence. To top that off the AC was not working. It was around 9 PM and we called to have maintenance check it out. We were told they couldn't get to us until the morning. We were told to open the windows and try to wait for the morning. Problem was myself and our granddaughter are allergic to cats. We both started getting stuffy and eyes watering. There were also stains on the bed linens and spiders everywhere. We decided to just leave as the cabin would not work out for us. We were able to secure another location for our visit. We asked for a refund since we were there less than two hours. After a week went by we were told no refund at all. After many attempts to actually try and talk to someone we were told there would be no change in the decision and no discussion. Apparently they needed the money more than we did. We were willing to negotiate something to them for the inconvenience but they would not discuss it with us and kept the entire amount. They showed no empathy for our situation and dismissed the ability to even talk. They obviously do not care about their customers, or providing value and have no regard for any repeat business. BUG INFESTATION!!!!!! I booked a pricey rental through FLPP only to find the bed was infested with bugs!!! And as if that wasn't horrible enough, FLPP did nothing to help. Buyer beware. If you rent you will pay. You cannot technically cancel until they can rebook. They will provide you with no cancellation notice so that you can file a claim with insurance. This is anytime. So last minute deaths, sickness etc you better have backup for someone to take the reservation. On the one hand it's understandable, they need to protect themselves...on the other an inflexible cancellation policy means substantial risk for the traveler even with insurance read more

I booked a rental for my sisters bachelorette party. I went through the whole process and paid. I got the confirmation email and the next step was to send my drivers license. I did so and then the next day they emailed me with a refund. I was unsure what this was and assumed it was a deposit. I apparently got a call the next week but it was from a number I did not know so I did not answer. That is the only contact I was given. I reached out recently because I wasn't receiving any emails and they told me it was cancelled because I wasn't 25. Nowhere while I was reserving did it say that was a requirement. It should have asked how old I was before I did so. I am staying with 7 other people all who are over 25 so if I was made aware of this I would have had someone else make it. Thoroughly disappointed with how they went about this and the lack of communication. They have no rebooked those dates and i'm out of luck. Will not be using them again. The photographs on their website are old and do not show the state of disrepair that the property is in. There are also untrue facts in the description such as zero stairs to enter property (there are several and some are not built to code). Stairs to lake advertised as 39 when there are actually 53. The stairs to the lake are dangerously supported or not supported at all. The rails on the patio are held up by both plastic and metal chains. We were unable to use the patio at all as it is so crooked you can't sit safely in a chair on it without tipping. Outdated pictures on the website fail to show this property's true condition. The house was also not clean, had unpleasant odors, a/c inadequate, mildew in hot tub, rotted wood throughout. Owner told us to just run the a/c 24/7 and keep windows open to deal with the odors. 2 of the skylights over the dining area leaked every time it rained. Some of the advertised parking areas were over an 1/8 of a mile up a steep incline. Because we did not receive what was rented to us, we left early without compensation from the company. They sent their technicians out to see the issues and they agreed with all of our complaints and even found more. Nothing could be done to correct these during our stay. FLPP told us we could leave the 2nd day and get our money back, but we had no where to go and several guests were scheduled to fly in throughout our stay. They would not relocate us. In hindsight, I looked at the reviews for Finger Lakes Premier Properties and found that there are many renters with the same issues. Ovens weren't working, they promised a grill... not there... no coffee pot and fixtures were filthy as well as utensil drawers. Everything else was clean and it was a beautiful home. The property manager doesn't check things or clean properly. Promised a $250 credit but nothing yet and not sure I'd use it. No phone call to follow up even though I requested one. read more

We just spent 2 weeks at "The Lake House" a property at 4109 West Lake Road Geneseo and rented to us by Premiere Properties . It was an absolutely terrible experience. The property is run down, poorly maintained and we believe misrepresented on Premiere Properties website. This lake front property had no table, chairs or umbrella on its deck which made enjoying the lake facing deck (the only redeeming part of the rental) very difficult in the day sun. The bedrooms were small and the mattresses were very old and uncomfortable. The walls in one of the bathrooms were covered in mold from a leaking shower. The furniture was threadbare and more suitable for a garage or the curbside. We paid top dollar for a third rate accommodation - shameful! read more

This property management company is the worst I've ever dealt with. My daughter became ill with Bartonella disease which is carried by fleas.....the fleas infested the property we rented. They denied and denied that the fleas were there. The pest removal company that they hired told me it was possible that the fleas were dormant and then awoke with the presence of a dog. Her dog did not have any fleas prior to staying at the property. She had to have undergo surgery to remove the infected area, and all at her expense. During the time of October -Nov when trying to work with them, the responses went from disbelief, to tolerating me to being downright rude. I will never rent through them again, and suggest you look else where as well. Thanks for nothing Premier. Well, we rented a property on Keuka for our wedding. The view from the living room is gorgeous! It'd be even better if we didn't spend 30 minutes trying to contact the management company trying to get in because they door code they gave us was wrong...but hey shit happens and i was just happy to be out of the thunderstorm 15 minutes after the tornado sirens started up. Josh could have been more professional than to hang up immediately without confirming we made it inside, but hey what can you expect? Ideally we would have had power, or josh could have been more helpful than to tell the people who payed a few grand to stay here to figure out the power outage themselves. Or at least not just sounded annoyed that we had the audacity to be curious about when we'll have electricity. I have friends who manage rental properties, I have no idea how this could have been handled worse. Also, why does the office close at 4:30 when checkin isn't until 4, and why does no one pick up the phone at 4:15 when the office is supposed to be open until 4:30. I guess it could be worse, but not by a lot. Edit: We make trips to the finger lakes at least once a year, this is the first and last time we'll be renting from these guys. read more

We have rented four properties from FLPP over the years, all on Keuka Lake. We rented the Fairhaven main house and guest house in August 2022 for a family reunion. The Fairhaven Property did not meet our expectations for a premium priced rental, especially compared to our four previous FLPP rentals which had been excellent. The main house offers great views of the lake and bluff with spectacular sun sets. It is an easy drive to Hammondsport, Penn Yan and many wineries. The property is located at the end of a narrow road so it is very quiet and private. There is good lake frontage and lots of land next to the guest house for lawn games. The gardens are beautiful and well managed. I am not one to usually complain about most issues but when you consider the totality of the shortcomings with this property it is clear it does not meet the standard we experienced in the past. The issues include: - The cleaning crew was still on the property after we arrived for the 4:00 pm check-in. They rushed to finish making the beds but it appears they passed on some of the cleaning chores. It was very awkward moving into the property while they were trying to get chores done. - The bathrooms in both buildings were generally clean except for the shower stalls. The shower floors were dirty and there was mold growing where the pan meets the walls. - The master bathroom sinks had mold growing around the sink drain which we ended up cleaning ourselves. - The carpets were filthy in both buildings. Stains, spills and odd smells, especially on warm days. Area rugs covered most areas and were constant trip hazards. - We never received an access code for the lock box from FLPP for the front door key but it did not matter since ANY four numbers could be used to access the key! Not very secure. - We could rarely get the back door to lock. I would prop a chair against the door handle at night. - Many of the upstairs windows could not be opened or closed as handles were loose or stripped. - The smoke alarm in the kitchen was missing and I could not find any other first-floor detectors. The whole house security system is disabled so I have to wonder if there are any smoke/fire detectors in this property. - The outdoor gas grill ignitor was broken so trying to light the natural gas-powered grill with a lighter was always a risk since it was not clear where to light the burner. - There was a constant source of ants in the guest house bathroom. These were the large carpenter ant variety. - The Wi-Fi in the main house was very good but it was very poor in the guest house with weak signal and constant drops making it difficult for family members that had to do some remote work for several days from the guest house. - The window above the air conditioner in the guest house would not stay closed and was open for some time allowing bugs to get into one of the bedrooms. We propped it closed with a spoon from the kitchen. - Most of the doors would stick when opened or closed, some significant. As I stated previously, this property has some great features regarding location and could be one of the premier FLPP properties but it is not worth the premium price we paid for rent and poor cleaning. It needs a complete assessment from top to bottom before we would even consider renting it again and a review of the cleaning protocols and crew. read more

FLPP knowingly rented a property to me at 360 Wagner road in Waterloo NY with Camera and Microphone 4 feet from main gathering area. FLPP refused to address the issue of owner surveillance of tenants' on this property. I wonder if this is an isolated instance or if this is a more widespread problem. I covered the camera and microphone and while I was out the owner came there and uncovered them. Creepy. read more

This company cares not for the renters but is ruled by bottom line and is a slave to the property owners. The owner of the riverside retreat engaged in audio and video surveillance of my family. when I covered up the camera and microphone the owner came when we were out to uncover his spy equipment. I covered them back up again. When I contacted FLPP they gave me the party line about owners right to have this equipment and had no concern for our being spied upon. Very creepy. So if you rent riverside retreat at 360 wagner st in waterloo, be aware that you will be watched by the owner and that owner will listen to your conversations. We have been renting a home on Canandaigua Lake for the last 2 years through Premier. Home last year was very nice but was recently sold and not available this year. What a disappointment this year. The second bathroom was in the garage which was detached from the house. The summary said bath was in garage but not that it was detached and you had to exit the home and go outside to access. The furniture and contents are very dated, refrigerator cooled contents minimally, ants in the kitchen, and exterior was looming with cobwebs and bugs. I am not sure when the last time an exterminator sprayed but it is in dire need. If my grandchildren had been with me, I would have left and checked in at at hotel or driven home . The most disappointing item was lack of response from Premier. When I arrived I asked for another venue and did not hear back until the next day with no options. Additionally, when I received a call back the next day I asked for a discount due to my disappointment and still have not heard back . On a positive, although the exterior was disgusting with webs and bugs, the interior bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen although bugs on the floor was well stocked with needed cooking items . I cant even tell you about the house because this company cancelled our reservation a week and a half before our arrival. The grandparents are flying in to see their granddaughter at college for the first time and we are driving 7 hours up to the area. NOW WE HAVE NO PLACE TO STAY. What a shady company. We were told that the house is being winterized early and that is it we cant stay there. Even though we had booked a month early and also paid the entire amount upfront. They then tell us they have another house but its 45 minutes further away. When we looked at this house it had BUNK BEDS.......How am i supposed to tell the grandparents to sleep in a bunk bed. Found out the home was no longer on the website. I called and found out the home had been sold and my reservation was no good. They told me the house was sold yesterday, and didn't want to do rentals. After speaking with the new owner and property manager, they confirmed the house had been sold WEEKS ago and the owner was very open to renting. So much to a point that 3 nights on their site was cheaper than 2 nights on FLPP. We were planning on using this home for Wedding Party + Photos and FLPP dropped the ball, took no accountability, and made no effort to help. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We were told that your "Resolution Team" would be meeting today to formulate a response to our numerous and unanswered complaints about the deplorable conditions at the residence we rented from Saturday, August 4th thru Saturday, August 11th -- a home that is infested with disease-carrying mice. Given the numerous--and useless--sonic devices that we found throughout the place, i.e., devices that are supposed to repel vermin, we have little choice but to conclude that this problem wasn't new but was, instead, known and undisclosed. We spent a lovely week in your so-called "immaculate" residence, cleaning up mouse excrement every morning, finding mouse excrement on our pillows and sheets, dealing with mice scurrying across our feet as we sat on the toilet, and, also in the morning, emptying the traps that we set the evenings before in an effort to contend with the INFESTATION. We're not too surprised that we have heard NOTHING from your resolution team about our complaints. The house at 4069 Haas Smith Road should be unlisted until the problem is resolved. The location was great and had a lovely view but the house was advertised to have wifi (it barely worked and we found out it was because they were piggy backing off the neighbors wireless). Called about the internet, nothing was really resolved, which was very inconvenient as I was supposed to be working remotely and it was one of the reasons we chose that property. If i stood in just the right place in the kitchen I could pick up a weak signal. The house had mice and and a pretty bad spider infestation. They also pulled the dock out of the water a couple days into our stay (granted it was fall, but a heads up would have been nice). My only issue with Premier Properties are the ridiculous fees they charge. $400+ for a reservation fee? On top of a unit servicing fee of $160+ and taxes. I would like to know what exactly about reserving a house costs $400+. Additionally, their cancellation policy is the most rigid i have every experienced and we have rented many properties. If you cancel, even with several months notice, you do not get your down payment returned until 30 days after the people who end of renting the place instead of you, depart from the property. ??? Only one A/C unit sort-of functioned in the home, the downstairs bedrooms were uninhabitable due to mold and moisture (and awful smell) (only a very small dehumidifier was in the basement), advertised with cable channels - no cable. 2 of the 4 TV's did not work. You cannot see the dock from the home - thus, if kids are swimming you cannot view them. Should be listed - dock is a hike from home. Will never rent here again. read more

We have stayed in the same house many years and the cleaning has declined significantly. There was plenty of hair along the floor boards and chandeliers had well developed cobwebs, the latter is definitely not from one or two poor cleanings but a consistent lack of cleaning. There is a steep cleaning fee charged to renters so, sadly, we cannot return to this property or use this management company again. The eaves of the structure were infested with wasps and several dozen found their way inside. The wasps were present in the eaves on a visit the previous year so either they love these eaves and keep returning or the issue has never been addressed. There were other minor issues consistently occurring over the years too, like conflicting check in times and not so helpful staff when we had to call with a door access problem. read more

My family and I have rented multiple times over the last 5-6 years and recently have been renting properties under finger lakes premier. We are never wow'ed any longer. This past month was a disaster. My mom was manipulated by a falsified review. A "cabin" was a double trailer home remodeled into a house. Nobody knew this until we arrived. Any time water is run for showers in the mobile homes--an odor would smell the entire place. She contacted the finger lakes premier multiple times with no response. It has been 2 weeks now and not even an apology for what happened! While the home we stayed in was beautiful, the agency is poorly maintaining the property we rented, which resulted in multiple injuries while we were there. Our complaints weren't handled as quickly as they should have been, a man named Josh was flat out annoyed and unconcerned about my husband being injured, and potentially having to go to the hospital(he refused) We've reached out multiple times since we've been home, not a single call has been returned Update 1- Someone called my husband this afternoon. The person called, left a message and then left for the weekend before my husband had a chance to call back. The person he spoke with promised to followup and rectify the situation. Well to start when we got here the door code was wrong. That pushed are check in time till 4:39 could not get ahold of Noone but still had to be out 10:00am Sunday the wifi is terrible the first night here we sweated so bad in our sleep because there is one wall unit in the living room feeding the whole house the next to nights temperatures dropped to around 50 degrees thats cold going from 90 degrees then found out the baseboard heat did not work so sleeping was terrible once we were here found out half the dock belong to neighbors had to ask permission to use there dock which they were okay with as long as they weren't there it says it accompanied 6 people well there is one 3 person couch in living room and a recliner so only 4 people can sit 2 people have to pull up hard wood chairs the water pressure forget it it just about stops then goes full blast for about 3 seconds for the money that is put out for these house our family will not return or recommend it the only good was the house was stocked which is creepy because looks like someone lives here in between I really felt my family was being watched 9814 east lake property read more

The sleeping accommodations were extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the lake was right outside the door. It was the perfect setting for making wonderful memories. We stayed at a property called The Trottage on Seneca Lake the weekend of 11/10/17. The first night there was a slight septic smell that continued to get worse during our stay. By the second night, the entire house smelled horrible. We contacted maintenance who said they would call the owner and get back to us. They called back and told us, "this was a known issue that happens sometimes" and there was nothing they could do. Unbelievable lack of effort to help in any way. We ended up opening windows in freezing cold weather and blasting the heat. I wish I had come to yelp prior to booking to see how they were rated. If I could give Finger Lakes Premier Properties 0 stars I would. My family and I rented a lake house from Finger Lakes Premier Properties. When we entered the property we realized there was no AC (except 1 window unit in one of the bedrooms). This was something that was very hard to find on the rental property website when we went back to check. After we called and told the company that we needed to be accommodated due to several people in the house having health issues, they were very unresponsive. After hours on the phone, we eventually were told that a maintenance person would come by and bring a few window AC units and box fans. We went out to dinner and while we were there, we received a phone call saying that they could not install the window AC units because of the prongs (yet there was 1 AC unit already installed). We asked them to please leave the AC units and we would go out and buy the adapters for them. When we returned, no AC units were left for us. Later on, the property manager came by and said he would bring some AC units himself if they didn't get dropped off. Never heard from anyone about them again. There was only an above floor bathtub in the main house that was dirty...no shower. The ONLY shower was in the guest "apartment" and was extremely dirty as well. VERY unsanitary. There were bugs in many of the rooms. To top it off, there were MANY bugs in the bed in the guest "apartment." Unsure if these were bed bugs or not, but we had to pay to stay somewhere else in order to accommodate our large party. This property looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. There was an insane amount of dust, dirt, trash, and much more behind the night table in one of the bedrooms. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! read more

Had a bad experience with the one property I rented. At check in the cleaning crew was still there and had trouble getting in but beyond that the floors were very dirty but that was just the start. The boat lift broke which held my $60k boat and my boat came crashing down at 8PM at night!! My whole side molding got scratched up. Good thing I was there. The owner got the lift fixed the next day but I lost the evening since I had to find a way to hold my boat to the hoist since there were no tie downs for the boat. Lost sleep and had to wait in the morning to get it fixed the next day. I only got $100 back from premier properties for the problem. What a joke...they really don't understand and care for the guest who are spending $4k a week to stay there. read more
