They use computers so that each student can work on a different project, based on the skill level and interest. It's not "computer based instruction", the computers provide the "step-by-step" instruction for completing the assignment. This lets each student work at a different level and at their own pace. Then the teacher can focus on giving individual advice and instructions. The teachers are really great at working with the children. My daughter is so happy with their program, she literally runs down the sidewalk from our car to the school every time I drop her off! I can also say that their customer service is EXCELLENT, they are very client oriented, accessible to the parents, and professional in dealing with the "business side" of the school. Her emails are always very through and caring, her newsletters are beautiful and informational, and we get so many photos of Selena showing us the work she's engaged in every day. The after school care exposes our daughter to Chinese language education, calligraphy, art, crafts, cooking, robotics, and math. What other after school program offers all this! I sometimes think she might be getting more out of immersive Beijing than her regular school. What's also amazing is that teacher Sherry does her best to accommodate pick up for our daughter, even though she's the only one from her school. She's also very accommodating when it comes to offering day camps on days our schools are closed for teacher development day etc. We look forward to our daughter's continued growth and love for the Chinese language and culture at Immersive Beijing!

He recently performed in their spring concert, which was a great way for him to be inspired by students who were more advanced (and many were very impressive!). We like that they support introductory students without pushing too much practice time (just about 5 min a day which is perfect for him) to teach them to enjoy music, while also clearly training some award winning students. He also loves their "good job card" system where he can earn points at each lesson for future prizes!
