I sat on that knowledge for several more months and decided to just do it, but because it had been so long I had forgotten what shop I had called. So, I got on Google reviews and called the first shop that came up; the man who answered was extremely short with me and disrespectful when I explained that I had been given a quote earlier. I am SO GLAD I followed my instinct and continued calling. AS SOON AS Tracey answered I knew it was the RIGHT place! Soooo, I was told it'd be probably a week after drop off, which made me laugh because what was another week? I dropped it off on a Wednesday, she called later and gave me the price after they checked it out, I approved it and BAMMM, I picked it up on Friday. Only one full day of wait time. My saintly mother's 3-year old laptop was infected and running poorly, so I decided it best to reinstall windows on a new, bigger hard drive. She would have said NO, because for an 85-year old lady, change is unwelcome. But her computer savvy son insisted, so off we went! Service was quick and perfect. All the data got copied, and the staff even offered to install some of the programs Mom used. The shop is well stocked, located in a nice part of town, and the staff and owner are personable.
