Emanuel was professional, kind, warm and helpful. We inquired about a 4mo old puppy who hadn't been adopted yet. Usually we would err on the younger side but something about this puppy called to us! We are so incredibly glad that we followed our instincts. We named him Ollie and we are completely in love! He came basically potty trained, crate trained overnight and just SWEET AS CAN BE. His personality is still fun playful puppy but wow is he chill. He loves to cuddle and if we allowed him to, would literally be with us every second of the day. Teaching him some independence so he doesn't have separation anxiety as a dog. But that is challenging because all you want to do is snuggle this puppy 24/7!!!!!!! He is such a fast learner. He instinctively knows how to fetch and bring the ball back... every time. He listens to being called. If I say "uh uh" when he starts to dig into something I don't want him to he just redirects. It's kind of wild. Haha. This is our second dog and my goodness this experience is just the best. I left and told our trainer/friend that as soon as we pulled up on property we knew that this was going to be a positive experience. The energy was very positive, clean, professional and warm. I don't know what the heck the other reviewer is on about because it couldn't be further from the truth. This family is 3 generations of caring for and raising puppies. Emanuel was genuine, warm, funny and kind. We appreciated the nice interactions/visit as much as we enjoyed picking up our puppy! He let our daughters hold a week old litter while the moms were outside on break. Before we left the moms came back in to nurse. Emanuel pointed out some cool things about the mom/puppy dynamic, told stories of different liters that if you think about just show the care and attentiveness for these animals. He even built this little lifted ledge around the puppy beds where mom cares for puppies so that JUST IN CASE a puppy will have protection in case mom is too tired after labor and goes to lay on them. It's a sweet environment and these dogs are exposed to his grandchildren from birth. It is super clear from how our puppy behaves and licks instead of nipping that this is just a very nurtured and well raised environment. I will be recommending Lepark Cavaliers to EVERYONE I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so so blessed to have stumbled upon them. Thank you!

I purchased my first Chesapeake with "allergies "upon taking to the vet, it had heart murmur and was also diagnosed with autoimmune disease called puppy strangles that she failed disclosed to me and instead called it "allergies " the dog, ended up being healthy in the long run, so I kind of chalked it up and gave her the benefit of the doubt, however, it wasn't until I attempted to purchase a second dog off of her that I started to put everything together. I put a deposit in for a dog almost a year before I was refunded, my money, and in a years time I was either overlooked or passed up litter after littler that would've met my criteria because the breeder insisted that I take a female dog instead of a male. It wasn't until almost 6 months in that she sent sheait wasn't until almost 6 months in that she sent me an email and said I have the perfect female puppy that meets your criteria. My response back to her was I don't want a female I want a male she would not even let me get a picture of the dog up until the day I came to picknit up!!! How you can take somebody's money 6 to 8 months in advance, and then blow them off and tell them what sex dogs they are going to receive and not even get a picture is mind boggling to me I've had male dogs together in one home, my entire life, mostly all mastiffs, which are significantly more aggressive dogs than Chesapeakes. there is a point in time where Laura quit answering questions that I had while I was waiting for a litter. She even made it a point to say that I asked too many questions. How would you feel if you were getting ignored and kept and Dog after Dog being sold and you were overlooked. not to mention the damn breeder sent you an email telling you they have the perfect dog for you and it's not even the same sex you wanted. maybe I wouldn't have so many questions if she ldidn't have her head up her ass and she knew what the hell I wanted and I didn't have to double check and triple check to make sure I wasn't picking up something I didn't want. after almost a year being blown off and ignored, I requested my money back. Since then I have now taken into Mastiffs plus the Chesapeake and guess what.... everybody's best friends!! . I hope you read this, Laura, you are not God you do not dictate what sex dog people should get and maybe you've never heard of "nature versus nurture" , but how you bring them up dictates what type of adult dog you'll have. Persistency and consistency. despite me having back records supporting all my intact, male dogs living together combined with the fact that we used to run a rescue that would take abused dogs. despite the overwhelming evidence that was presented to her or offered, she insisted that she knows best and then I was only allowed to adopt a female dog. unless you want no say so in the type of dog you get and you're gonna drive how many miles to go pick up a dog blindly go find a different breeder. This is a backyard breeder that lives in a trailer and has an outdoor kennel set up on the side of the trailer and the dogs are outside seven days a week 24 hours a day you can do way better don't support this breeder at all. They are not for the breed only enough for themselves. do your research I wish I would've done more. This place is a joke.

A DogSports employee told our vet office that Binx had been unable to settle himself all day. Binx was there 8 hours that day, had noted crate anxiety, employees were aware he was in distress, and NO ONE CALLED until he has passed away. He was found in his crate dead, with vomit and diarrhea. Other PUBLIC information, the owner of the DogSports, Joanne Reaney, was charged with 35 counts of theft for allegedly embezzling $517k from her employer years ago. I'm not an attorney, but the court of common pleas document looks like an agreement was made for payback to potentially avoid the felony charge/jail time (PA criminal law Rule 586). In addition, more PUBLIC information, there is an open state tax lien on the business and there appears to be more than 10 open civil cases (with monetary judgments of over $100k due). Some people truly don't understand that there are regulations she has to follow and even though she has crossed all her t's and dotted all her i's on her end people still don't listen. She is a breeder with a wealth of knowledge and I have found it hard to find a vet that understands this breed as well as she does and if you think it's just a dog then this dog is not for you. All breeds act differently. In the past year she has proven two vets here wrong and sadly one of my pups didn't make it. If she seems gruff to you or unprofessinal that it is solely in your lap. She has a hectic schedule and if you think you can simply stop by than that's not the case. She is not just any breeder but someone looking to find loving homes for the puppies she breeds. She is very selective in whom she gives them to and in the world we live in today I don't blame her. So if you are looking for a German Shepherd and you want to purchase one from a reputable breeder whom will always have your back and assistance you in all the care and needs of your new family member than this is where you should go.
