It is not often you hear me say that because I absolutely hate the doctor like the plague. The front desk was super nice. She checked in me and I didn't have to wait very long to get seen. Dr. Saysoukha was very informative and thorough with making sure I understood everything that was going on with my foot. I had an injury recently from working out and it has been giving me a lot of issues. After visiting her, I felt a sense of security and a better understanding of what I needed to do for my wellness. It is going to take some time to get where we want me to be, but with time, it will be achieved. It is very obvious that Dr. Saysoukha is passionate about her line of work and cares about her patients. I haven't had such a great experience like this in a long while hence why I felt the need to drop a review. We had a trip to Disney planned in less than 2 weeks so needed a fast pain relief option. I was seen immediately and Dr Schuler gave me a cortisone injection that same day. Unfortunately after the appointment I further injured my foot and had to call Dr Schuler after hours on Friday. She offered to meet me on Saturday outside of office hours. On Saturday she ran new x-rays and discovered a small stress fracture. She immediately fitted me for a walking boot and gave plenty of instructions for how I can heal as much as possible and how we can still take our trip in a few days. Her confidence and expertise helped calm my anxiety and less than 24 hours later the pain is already starting to subside. There aren't many doctors who will give you their cell number to call after hours, and there are even fewer who are willing to take time out of their weekend to meet you and handle your injury quickly and efficiently. This office isn't a brand new huge high tech busy office with 6+ doctors. But there are two people (Dr Schuler and her assistant Rose) who truly care about their patients and are willing to do what it takes to literally get them back on their feet.

Not only was I in and out in 15 minutes (including pre-doctor), but the doctor was super-rushed (I was the first patient and I came in early), never looked me in the eyes, and kept interrupting me (like, a LOT). An easy procedure I thought. Nope! It required full surgery. Dr. Williams did an incredible job and 2 weeks later, my surgery area is healing great. I'm impression of Dr. Williams is that he is #1 very knowledgeable and through conversation, he continues to educate himself. #2 he is a really nice and caring guy. He truly cares about his patients. He has a service attitude and wants to be of service to his clients. I really appreciate that. #3 he knows his patients. He recalled conversations that we had weeks ago. A skill many people have not developed. I could go on about what a wonderful person and doctor he is, but it would take you an hour to read it. His Staff are all so nice and genuine. He definitely hired people who share his love for giving service and care to the patient. I also love that I have never arrived for an appointment and had to sit there for 30 minutes or an hour to be seen. Appointment times were always fast. I have seen Dr. Hyde a few times this year, but in the Hermitage location, and I can say that this location is a lot easier to navigate to than the other location! That was the first plus! Dr. Hyde has a good attitude, seems knowledgeable, is understanding and wants to help solve the issue in the least invasive method. Front Desk staff is friendly and helpful as well, from the phone line to the front counter. Overall, Dr. Hyde and this Franklin location will continue to be my go-to when needed.

About a month ago, I saw Dr. Rateif for pain in my right heel. He also gave me a shot, a brace, and told me to come back for a follow up in one month. When I went to check out, the lady behind the desk looked confused, told me one total, went to speak to another person, and then came back and told me a different amount owed. Fast forward three weeks later, I was still having a lot of pain in my right foot plus new onset swelling and pain in my left foot so I called to see if Dr. Rateif could see work me in earlier. I was thrilled when they worked me in first thing in the morning, the very next business day! When I hobbled in barely able to walk, a lady called me back and told me that there had been some kind of mix up and that Dr. Rateif was actually out of network on my insurance. I told her that I had checked with my insurance and was lead to believe that AFAA accepted my insurance and offered max savings to boot. I was informed that only ONE doctor in the practice accepted my insurance and he was not in the office. I could see Dr. Rateif that morning but would have to pay $200-$300 (and oh yeah "you have to pay out of network price for your last visit"). I hobbled right back out, cried in my car while wondering how I was going to make it through my 12 hour shifts that week (Answer: IM Toradol) and then drove home. TLDR: Dr Rateif was great but apparently not all of the doctors in the practice accept the same insurance. Do NOT take their word for it. If you do go see them, call your insurance and verify that the SPECIFIC doctor that you are going to see accepts it.
