I had spoken with the house manager and owner on multiple occasions, toured the house and made a financial agreement for payment as I was just returning to work after residential inpatient treatment, I provided proof of employment and income. I was set to move in on a Tuesday, where I unfortunately tested positive on a UA, but that said, I was upfront and clear about my diet and having not been in the house yet, was not avoiding things such as kombucha, mouthwash, etc. We made an agreement I would return in 2-3 days after a work trip that I had advised both the owner and house manager of, and both were totally agreeable. I was set to return to the house immediately following my work trip, and the night before, at a later hour, received a text only from Kristie that I "was not a good fit" and she continued to explain I hadn't put $ on a bed, although we all had a clear agreement. None the less, they did me a favor with the unprofessional conduct and communication; I instead found a much better home, at half the cost, that also allows pets. Chanel, the owner, which I made agreements with directly, was non responsive. If you need a last ditch resort and can afford one of the higher sober living costs, with 3 women per room, this may be for you. My recommendation would be to pass and move on.
