We had builder grade gas logs that died. This led me to the discovery that repair or replacement of…read morea gas fireplace ia a somewhat niche business that Archer and very few others do. Archer was one of several quotes - and be careful when dealing in this area- but came in as one of the lower ones. However, replacement of a gas fireplace is NOT a cheap project. Patrick Archer was our salesman and Sean did the work with one of his assistants. Watching the installation, I felt a bit better about the price tag - Sean was literally going in and out of a 10" by10" hole - multiple times - he is a human ferret. They pulled everything out including the exterior vent (the 10 x 10 hole), replaced the exterior siding, installed the new unit, fixed the drywall, hooked everything up to the gas line, and re-tiled. The work was excellent and was a lot more involved than I would have thought. The only complication was that initially the logs would not reliably light, but the company was responsive and sent out a tech who adjusted the positioning which fixed it (something about airflow). And we don't have the manual for the logs which makes the remote functionality a bit hit and miss sometimes since we don't have the instructions, but we're working on it and have a request in to the company. Recommended.

I walked in was greeted by a gentleman but wanted to take a look at their inventory since this was my first visit to their store. CThomas approached and asked what I needed, he thoroughly explained the pros and cons of the ones I was interested in. I found a set a really liked at a great price much cheaper than HD, so we arranged for payment and delivery. I love my new set!!!! Would recommend them to anyone.

The dishwasher install was a challenge for them as the area where the unit would set was/is below floor level by a half inch requiring that the old unit had to be carefully maneuvered to be removed and the same with the new unit being properly placed. Working together Eric and Doug overcame the obstacle and got the new unit properly and correctly installed. Thank you Eric and Doug!! You both deserve a pay raise!! He called 30 minutes out, showed up with a smile and professionalism, and then got right down to checking all the things needed to make sure we had safe fireplaces. I will say that I appreciate the recommendations he made while not trying to upsell me to do additional work that would have been unnecessary right now. I was told inspection and cleaning cost 189.00. As it is displayed on the estimate (see photo). They told me at the time my inspection cost would be applied to my services. When I looked at the estimate, it states a rain pan would cost at least 1500.00. Then there is ANOTHER fee for 189 that discusses cleaning and inspection. When I called they told me the 189 I paid was only for inspection, not cleaning even though the 2nd fee on my estimate states inspection AND cleaning. They then said the 189 that I zelled them (clearly because they have swindled people in the past and they know zelle is impossible to dispute) could only be applied to the rain pan and nothing else. So basically, I thought I paid them 189.00 (which the average cost is about 100 btw) to inspect and clean my chimney, but really it was for a person to spend 5 min looking and my chimney and fly a drone over my chimney. It is my fault for not doing my homework that I was taken advantage of at Christmas time, but fool me once.....

First, they appear to operate under two different business names, which was confusing from the start. After booking, I received repeated calls and messages from multiple phone numbers, which was excessive and unprofessional. More importantly, the technician's visit was extremely rushed. Based on both the tenant's account and the time-stamped text messages, the entire service call lasted approximately 15 minutes -- for a three-story townhouse with a rooftop fireplace. The technician came in, stood in front of the fireplace briefly, and then left. The written diagnosis was inaccurate and internally inconsistent, and it did not align with what was actually happening at the fireplace. As a result, the $99 inspection fee is money wasted, as it provided no real value or reliable information. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again
