Mural caught my attention and pulled me into the parking lot. Curiosity pulled me inside to a unique and interesting used bookstore. Greeted by a friendly and helpful young lady who answered all our questions. I loved the atmosphere and overall vibe. I found a cool book on the Songbirds of North America with a disk of actual songs. There are plenty of books to browse through and the prices are very reasonable. My only complaint by my sister was no database to assist in the search, but I was okay as I enjoyed perusing the shelves. Will be back !!! read more

A locally owned bookstore that's great for finding used books. It's well organized & the staff is helpful. I take my old books for merchandise credit. The inside of the store has places to sit & just read your finds. I like the selection. There's a range from higher priced rare books to a $1 book section to DVDs to books on tape! Delightful used book store. Nicely organized, great selection, very well kept. They answer their phone quickly and know their stock. Staff is super nice. They will hold books for you to pick up. I guess I'm the only one who wasn't very impressed. The prices for the books in my opinion are not standard with other used book stores. The first one I picked up was just $2.50ish off of the cover price! with a sticker around $23. I could go on ebay and find that same book for $6 new. Next I picked up a children's book (not in great condition that I had bought my son used already) just to see the price and it was $12! I'll stick with the other used book store thats closer to my house and has much better prices. read more

As summer approached me and my roommate (both broke college students) wanted some books to read but didn't wanna pay $12+ on one book from B & N. Plus I love to find and support local businesses in the Toledo area. So we gave NeverMore and chance and couldn't be happier! My roommate left with 7 books for $14 (shout out to the racks of $2 hardcovers!!). There were only a few more "high demand" or more "rare" books with prices that were a bit higher. Although with that being said these books were still much cheaper than if I went and bought them at a regular retail store. The owner was also amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about any genre you could think of. He made great suggestions and was super welcoming and friendly! Plus if you bring in your used books you can receive a discount/credit to buy some more books from them! They even will buy old textbooks as well! The store may seem small but don't let that fool you, there is literally almost every book you can think of in this place! The biggest section seemed to be romance but they had everything from horror, mystery, non-fiction, etc. Both hardcovers and paperbacks marked at very reasonable prices! Let's just say we will definitely be back soon to trade in some books and get even more books to read! :) read more

A small little used book store... BUT very clean and friendly. While they don't have a complete selection (mainly due to their size), I was able to find a majority of the books that were on my list and one other book of interest. There were a couple employees (one I believed was the owner). They were both friendly and of good humor. I would say the books were of moderate price, but not really cheap. I stumbled across this place kind of by accident, and because bookstores are some of my favorite places to browse, I stopped in. This place is awesome! The selection is so impressive, and the owner is such a kind gentleman. I found myself wanting to buy every book I touched--from classics to biographies to youth fiction like Harry Potter! I ended up getting a couple, and my daughter chose one too. Their children's corner is well stocked with the oldies like Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein. Brought back great memories. Can't wait to bring back all the people in my life who have a love of reading :) read more

This is a great little bookstore. The store changed ownership in 2015 and the new owner is very friendly and very willing to help you find whatever book you are looking for. The books are very reasonably priced. I didn't see any over $9 (except for the fancy books which were $35 to $40). Most of the books I got were $2 to $5. Overall it is a very good used bookstore and I would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I had a great experience at NeverMore. I was in Toledo visiting some friends and I had an hour to kill. I am trying to read more and watch less TV. The owner was great!! When I'm on the road, I always look for places like this. I loved this used bookstore. The owner and employee were extremely friendly and helpful. They knew exactly what they had and right where to find it. There are tons of options here. The store was welcoming and had lots of room to move around. There are comfy chairs to sit in and read and all the books are in excellent condition. I'd highly recommend stopping by. I bought books for myself and my 6 year old daughter. read more

Smaller than the book store I'm used to but it's clean, friendly and the most expensive book I saw was $8.00

Went in with my kids (very well behaved) and the lady was mean and rude. She looked horrified that I would bring kids into the store! I felt unwelcome and like she was watching my every move. I bought something and she refused to allow me to use a few cents from the give/take penny jar. Seriously?! If people can not use the jar, then do not have it out! I love used book stores and buy from them all the time but will never go here again and let everyone I know to steer clear of this place. read more
