First time shopping and it was an amazing experience. Service was top tier, they grabbed all of my…read morethings and took them to the fitting room and to the counter. Even pulled some items for me based on my selections. As a black shopper, sometimes you're treated poorly in stores and that was not my experience at all!!! I was visiting from the US too.

I am an Aritzia fan for so long and I do think their clothes get better and better. The brands I love are Wilfred, Babaton, Agolde Denim Forum. I think their clothes are worth the prize. I still have pieces from 5+ years ago that I still wear to this day. The trick when buying from Aritzia is to stick with the classic pieces and neutral colours. I do buy some trendy pieces too but most of my Aritzia pieces are classic. I find that the staff here were very friendly. When lining up outside, a staff will approach you and if you are looking for something in particular then she can enter into her tablet and a staff inside the store will get them ready for you! I think this is an awesome idea. Most of the time when I go to Aritzia I already know what I want. And since I shop here a lot, I also know my size from each brand. I think it will be very convenient if everything I want will be ready at the cashier once I enter the store. One thing I've learned is that this is not an Aritzia outlet. This is just like any other Aritzia but they do carry more sale pieces. I highly recommend this Aritzia location. This is as big as the Metrotown location or maybe even bigger. All the ladies out there should check it out.

Here's the deal with this place…read more Its headquarters are in HK and was spawned out of HK. When I go to HK, this, along with Bossini, are the dominant stores in terms of casual fashions for the younger generation. So the place is not really for me. However, I did manage to find a belt to go with a pair of shoes I was lusting after at Aldo. Belt first, then the shoes, because the belt was harder to find. It was in a shade of darker blue. THAT"S incredibly hard to find for a guy, but I found it here of all places. Shop carefully in here since a lot of the fashion is Asian centred, unless that's the look you're going for.

I visited Hong Kong in 1999 and the whole time I just shopped. At the shopping centers, I kept…read moreseeing the same chain stores over and over again: Bossini, G2000, and Giordano. Throughout the duration of that vacation I loved browsing and shopping through these stores even though its the same style of clothing over and over again. So imagine my excitement when I saw a Giordano inside Aberdeen Centre... I was just enthusiastic. I like their style -- "Casual-Casual to Dressed Up Casual" and it brought back very fond memories of that particular vacation. Every time I'm at Aberdeen, I always stop by with a sense of optimism and cheerfulness. But after several trips and several tries, I always leave the store with a feeling of ambivalence. I like the clothing, but unfortunately the designs are slightly generic (I can get it elsewhere for cheaper) and the quality of the clothing is questionable (and the material doesn't feel as sturdy as the price would imply). Maybe I should stop trying to recreate a vacation in Hong Kong when I go to Vancouver.

In fact, the multi year transformation that its currently undergoing makes it less of a traditional mall and more of a mini city that has spawned into a mixed-use commercial district. Their use of natural lighting all throughout the space makes it an ideal place for a photo in any corner. In addition to the space, many stores have stepped in with a good number that are high-end to appease all of the new money coming into the city of Richmond. It has become a leisurely destination for families and teenagers as folks roam the mall from corner to corner. One of the most significant transformations has been their food court, which has been dubbed the DiningTERRACE and features a number of food and drink spots. The only downside has been the mediocrity of most spots, which has plenty of room for improvement. Parking is also a mess, especially during the weekend. Folks are constantly competing for space and camping out has become a necessity during their busiest times. As many skyscrapers have been built nearby and it's proximity to the metro rail, this place will only serve to be busier as time goes on. ____________ (#1) 18 years has flown by.
