I don't understand why the reviews linked to this Aritzia branch were old when this particular Aritzia just opened June 2020. This branch is the one inside McArthur Glen. I am an Aritzia fan for so long and I do think their clothes get better and better. The brands I love are Wilfred, Babaton, Agolde Denim Forum. I think their clothes are worth the prize. I still have pieces from 5+ years ago that I still wear to this day. The trick when buying from Aritzia is to stick with the classic pieces and neutral colours. I do buy some trendy pieces too but most of my Aritzia pieces are classic. I find that the staff here were very friendly. When lining up outside, a staff will approach you and if you are looking for something in particular then she can enter into her tablet and a staff inside the store will get them ready for you! I think this is an awesome idea. Most of the time when I go to Aritzia I already know what I want. And since I shop here a lot, I also know my size from each brand. I think it will be very convenient if everything I want will be ready at the cashier once I enter the store. One thing I've learned is that this is not an Aritzia outlet. This is just like any other Aritzia but they do carry more sale pieces. I highly recommend this Aritzia location. This is as big as the Metrotown location or maybe even bigger. I love the clothes but will avoid in store visits at all costs. I've worked many years in retail and their sales people are unfriendly, not helpful and aggressive. I highly recommend shopping online - their virtual customer service agents are lovely as well. A couple of examples of the great "service" I had recently: I was looking for a particular item and as per their websites online stock, the store (robson st) had 1-2 items left in stock. I venture to the store and struggle to find the item on my own. I ask one of the associates folding some sweaters, where I might be able to find the item. She points vaguely to a table and says something along the lines of, "if we have it it'll be on that table (points to an area with multiple tables - which isn't super clear) but I haven't seen it for a while". I do not find the item and go home to avoid having another experience like that only to chat online to the aritzia CS team. I am shopping and have an associate start a room for me. My arms begin to fill to the point where it's hard to carry all the other things I'm wanting to try on. Another associate stops by and asks if i have a room started, I tell her yes and then she walks away. I guess if one person helps you that means another can't or won't because they won't get the commission? I get individual associate sales goals but I was always taught to help regardless of that sale being yours. read more

An Aritzia outlet?!! Yes PLEASE!! So so happy that I came here today and already want to go back! Amazing sales that are up to 90% off, huge selection of clothes, and the girls working were the absolute sweetest and so helpful. One of the girls came up to me while I was shopping and held my clothes in the fitting room twice while I continued shopping and even remembered my name throughout my visit. So so sweet and attentive! I wish I got her name so I could give her a shoutout because it made my experience even better. Already can't wait to come back one day! I personally don't think Aritzia is worth it. But my mom seems to love their clothing. Anyways I do a lot of buying on her behalf. This location in particular. Is prettttyyyy bad. Customer service that is. I also call before hand to make sure they have the items my mother wants. And nothing. All calls rejected. If you go through the reviews here. They're pretty much on point. Growing up in Vancouver, it's become habitual to enter Aritzia in order to browse the trendy and pretty clothes. But it's also become natural to note what you like, and try to find it elsewhere. Since it's well-known that Aritzia's stuff can be a little pricey. However, Aritzia carries some great investment pieces that just can't be replaced with anything else. Two of my favourite recent purchases are their perfectly fitted and tailored blazer ($125) and their casual fall/winter cotton jacket ($110). Extensive knowledge and support from the staff, surrounded with wonderful clothes, makes this place a girl shopping haven. Yea the service is pretty bad here. Typing this review as I'm walking out the Richmond store. I've been shopping at Aritzia for as long as I can remember, going back to when they carried juicy couture and rock and republic jeans (and those track suits that middle aged moms still wear sometimes). I recently bought a bunch of stuff here during the clientele sale and 2 things had to be shipped in - 1 from south Granville and another from Toronto. I've ordered many things here and it has never taken this long before. So I kept online chatting trying to get an update. Apparently the item from south Granville came yesterday (took 1.5 weeks to get to Richmond from south Granville??? Me thinks not). The other item is in transit still, understandable. So I went in seeing if I could pick up the item that has already arrived ( and again I want to emphasize it came from a store 25 min drive from Richmond). They told me it arrived, it's in a box, but I can't get it. I'm sorry... what? Why? It's in the store, in your back room. The girls here are extremely fake nice. They are nice to you because they want your sale. They don't make commission here. But they get fired if they are deemed underperforming. Every time I come here I feel like vultures are ready to pounce on me, trying to pick at me alive. I love their clothes, but I always dread asking them for help. So now I just pre-shop online and know what I'm looking for and then pick up and leave. The less I deal with the girls the better. read more

Take my moneyyy! I've been shopping at Artizia for years. They have a good selection of trendy clothing and accessories that are versatile and can be made into everyday staples. I love that they have a range of sizes as well, however, their clothing can be a hit or miss depending on the material or fabric. I've bought things from there that I wore once or twice because they got very wrinkly. The old location (near Old Navy) is the only store I can ever find anything. Their sales associate aren't very friendly. They won't offer assistance unless you ask or unless they see you holding something - that is when they approach you. They will offer to start a fitting room for you or hold on to your item at the cashier. The new location (near Aldo) is absolutely dreadful. I bought a dress there on Monday as I was told it would be ready for pickup on Thursday. I got a call on Friday thinking my dress was ready for pickup. I went in store and the sales associate helping me look for my dress jumped onto till halfway through. I was left standing in the middle of the store waiting, while other sales associate walked by, yet no one asked if I was doing okay. Apparently they called me to let me know that my dress would be available in a few days... Please don't call me if my item isn't ready for pickup. There really isn't a point calling me to tell me it isn't available yet. It would be great if they could tell me the right date before I buy an item as I will be flying away in a few days. P.S. It's super hard to differentiate who are shoppers and who are staff. They cashier is also located at a spot where no shoppers know where to line up. Stick to shopping online! Shipping is so much faster than in-store pickup and less hassle too! read more

I feel like I have started phasing Artizia out of my life. Every time I step foot in there, they just want to suck what you have in your wallet. There girl's here seem a bit nicer than a few other locations, but then again, it depends on which day of the week you hit.. Did I mention the quality is really going down the drain? I brought in a top I bought online for return today and the associate who attended to me was rude and very unprofessional. She accused me of tampering with the tag from the get-go and insisted on telling me that the tag is not where it should be (the tag is on the back of the shirt instead of under the armpits). I bought the top online and tried it on once without ever removing the tag. She kept on asking why I removed the tag and accused me of putting the tag back myself. I was super confused but she chose not to believe a word I said and just went on and on about her accusation. It's not my fault her associate who packed my online shipment didn't get the tag right! This is not the first time I've encountered a problem at this location. I'm a huge fan of Aritzia and I've shopped from their stores for many years. It's my number one go-to brand for clothing, and I've shopped at pretty much all the locations across the lower mainland. I have to say, Aritzia at Richmond Centre has the WORST customer service ALWAYS, and the staff are super unprofessional and always pissed off. They are not properly trained and do not know what customer service is. They always look pissy and aren't really there to help customers. It is clear all they care about is their commission and to stand in the store and avoid customers unless it is evident you are buying from them. The other locations have WAY BETTER service and they actually care about their customers' needs. What I don't understand is why does Aritzia put all their insufficient and unqualified staff at the Richmond location? DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION unless you want to walk out the store feeling like "WTF" and your time completely wasted. read more

Zero for customer service! RUDE sales associate and snobbish attitude.. I really don't understand why these girl act like as if they're in Beverly Hills. I had one encounter here and I was told she was one of the supervisor with her fake eyebrow and fake wannabe mean girls voice. Come on, you work as a customer service and get paid minimum wage so why so snotty? You spend $300 here for them to treat you bad. No thank you! This is the last time I'll be spending my hard earned money. A little advice for this Chinese so called supervisor. I frequent Aritzia a lot. Bought a $200 blazer from a different location, in which the sales associate failed to tell me that there was no tag attached to the blazer. Two days later I change my mind and want to return it. I called customer service and spoke to a very helpful, friendly girl who told me I could choose a location to return it to, and depending if the manager will accept the return or not. Girl at Richmond Centre was not that friendly, and when I explained the situation she was like "You know that this is conditional right?" Confused, I said what? "This is a one time thing, next time you can't do this." Excuse me, it's not my fault the sales associate from the other location didn't do her job right. Her question was such a turn off. She could have phrased it better instead of coming off as rude. Clothes are nice. Customer service could be better (I am never approached or offered assistance). Music is way too loud. read more

I think overall is good just not the girls working at this location and the other location within same mall, because I spend $300 almost same day in both location , after I paid I thank them, but they never thank me , I was very surprised by the sales/cashier , and it happen twice a day at the same mall! Worst customer service. Ever. It's so bad that's it's shocking. Twice within a week I purchased two puffers for my twin girls and BOTH times I was told the same (scare tactic) thing that "we have less then 10 In the company so we can't guarantee shipping before Christmas. Both times - BOTH - I found the 2 super puffs I needED, and had them both delivered NO PROBLEM. The other 2 stores I called the girls were: Pleasant Eager to help me Efficient & Took initiative following up with me from their PERSONAL cell phones. There was no drama, no attitude, just good old customer service. The Richmond center girls - Kelsey and the manager specifically, were not interested what so ever in trying to find a solution, let alone give just good old customer service. I only hope that head office staff read these reviews. I would actually welcome a call or follow up from them. The girls in Whistler and Toronto Bloor street that I did deal with need to be recognized for their amazing and much appreciated customer service. They are definitely and quite simply doing their job and they are doing it very well. I do shop at Aritzia often and now that my girls are getting older, they enjoy shopping there, too. However I will try and avoid Richmond Center. It was super unpleasant, uncomfortable, insulting and disappointing to say the least. read more

Great service, very helpful and attentive staff. I had an issue and the manager Amy was amazing. Only flaw is one of the staff that was there, blond girl wearing a white flowing shirt and black flowing pants was yelling at all the customers to line up at the till properly! Lol. Throughout the entire time I was there she kept barking orders at the customers, no smiles when she talked to you. I thought she must be from the Oakridge location! Regardless, it should be addressed. Don't speak to customers that way. All the other staff would compensate and be super friendly each time she barked. Other than that this location has the friendliest and nicest staff out of all the Aritzias. read more

The richmond location is my favorite aritzia!The girls here are a lot nicer than the other locations and don't push sales on you! It's also a lot less hectic/busy so it allows me to shop in peace. I'm never been disappointed with the quality of Aritzia 's clothing items. I only buy a few pieces per season but it's definitely worth the investment. read more

This is the worst Aritzia location of them all, by far. The SAs are not very friendly, not very helpful and snobby, though they are dressed quite well. I walked into the store recently and I was patronized by an older SA, who constantly harassed me to put things at the counter or in the fitting rooms when I politely declined. As I finally gave in, she rudely and brusquely told me about their "no bags policy" in the fitting rooms, which I was already aware of and was looking for a place to set my stuff down. There were about 5 rooms free, and she had me wait a good amount of time, only to put the wrong stuff in my room and misplace the stuff I had. She said she couldn't find it, and she'd order me in other sizes. I picked up my stuff and followed her to the counter, only to be disappointed that she didn't find any of my stuff. I complained to corporate about her and the horrible service here. Shopping at Aritzia is fine with me usually, but if I'm going to spend a significant amount of money on their clothing, I at least except some friendly customer service. read more

I frequent Aritzia often and I have to agree that this location is probably the best customer service I receive. The clothes fit me to a T, but the sizes do vary from brand to brand. One manager, H, provided excellent customer care in accommodating my request and concern with no question. I was very appreciative.
