The lack of safety, accountability, and proper supervision is alarming. The behavior in this school is out of control--there are constant fights, bullying, and students getting hurt, yet nothing is ever done. Incidents are repeatedly brushed under the rug. My son has been harmed multiple times since the beginning of the school year, and despite being a strong advocate, nothing has been done to protect him. The school claims to investigate, but there is never any follow-up or real action. A 7th grader was bullied so badly that students took a picture of him in the bathroom and spread it around--and still, nothing happened. Another student was body slammed outside, in front of two staff members, and was out of school for a week due to his injuries. Yet, no action was taken. Kids have to prepare themselves mentally, emotionally and physically to step foot in that school, which should not be the case. There is no sense of safety or respect in this school. The administration seems indifferent, and the well-being of students is clearly not a priority. Parents, be aware--this is not the safe, supportive environment they claim it to be. My son will not return to that school next year, and I have spoke to a good amount of parents that will be doing the same as well.

I was lucky enough to attended Delphi as a child growing up, and last month my toddler started…read morethere! The same things I loved about Delphi long ago are still present and thriving. The teachers are enthusiastic and passionate about learning and make every single day fun. The small class sizes allow for a strong nurturing relationships between staff and students, and my child feels welcomed and loved already. I appreciate that Delphi's reading program teaches students to read at such a young age and provides them with a genuine love for learning. It isn't forced upon them and that was something I loved when I went- I became a strong independent learner which helped me through college and into my career. Many of the staff that worked there when I was young are still present- which means a lot in this day and age. After a few weeks our son already loves his class, his teacher Miss Pam and the fun activities they do daily- art, music, outside time twice a day, painting, reading class, etc

Everything good we've heard about Milton Academy seems to be true so far in our first year…read more Aside from their academic reputation, it's also apparent that Milton focuses heavily on developing community citizens. They engage students by encouraging volunteer time during school hours, and also parents by allowing them to interact to help students in various ways. The curriculum allows students to take lessons in chess and Chinese even beginning in Kindergarten. There is a curriculum plan for the year even in K -- but they fold teaching into creative ways of learning, and the students seem to love being here. The campus is expansive and impressive, but also inviting and playful. There's always a good positive vibe and energy around campus. I especially like how open and inviting the Head of School and leadership are to questions and feedback. They openly encourage parents to inquire and provide input so they can continue improving.

The old was 150 years old about and the new was 100 years old or so. During my 6th grade with the help of the 6th grade boys ,we took down all the statues. I also remember the bannister going from the 1st floor to the 2nd fell off. The rumor was that Geordie McDonald spit on the wall and the banister fell off. I am witness on a daily basis to the adorable pupils, the devoted teachers and the charitable volunteers who make this school as cute as a button and a pleasure to be by. So I've been inside once (and will be returning 3 more times) for a home buying seminar which just so happened to be held inside the school. It is quite cute and surprisingly clean and new-looking, and brings me right back to my elementary school days, I kid you not. Cute posters on the wall, attendance tracking charts, small auditoriums that probably feel like the TD garden to these little 8 year old. Breaks your heart that they might be closing this place down...there were "please don't close my school!" posters hanging on the hallways. Soooo sad! I wonder what they'll do with it when it closes. Convert it into condo lofts? ...just might be the only option I could support...

The Campbell School offers a great mix of play and learning, and the teachers invest time to get to know your child as an individual.
