A CT…read morescan showed a possible gangrenous appendix, and Dr. Antonio Coirin performed surgery that day. After surgery, I was told everything was fine, but my pain never went away. I returned to the ER a few days later, and another CT scan showed my appendix was still there -- it had ruptured and caused an abscess. I needed a second emergency surgery with a different doctor, who said the infection could have been life-threatening. This was a frightening and painful experience that could have ended much worse. I truly hope the hospital reviews how this happened so that no one else goes through the same situation. I do not recommend Dr. Antonio Coirin based on my experience.
