Staff is very nice and the NP is always happy to help answer any questions. I did have some issues with tachycardia, so she advised me to maybe cut off caffeine completely when I take the medication. And maybe eat some simple carbs when I first take the pill (avocado toast for example). If those solutions didn't work it might not be for me, and sometimes that's just the case for certain people. I did cut back and went to taking a lower dosages as advised, it made a difference in my progress. I definitely felt like my concerns were heard and I got educated on how to possibly solve the potential problems. I also do regularly get the b12 shots. I will say I am disappointed I can't find what shots have what vitamins in them online. You can only see it in their office. Overall great experience. read more

I am sorry that Angelica had such a poor experience, but Lydia doesn't have an office in Merced. Could the problem have been a Groupon error? I hear about those ALL THE TIME. My experience with New Beginnings has always been very positive. I visited back in 2016 and Lydia and her staff took the time to sit with me and asked me what I needed, what I was allergic to, and made sure that I had the opportunity to ask questions. Having a visit with Lydia is nothing like visiting your regular doctor-Lydia cares. She wants to make you feel better. I have never had a healthcare provider be so kind and offer assistance to help me cope with my mothers death. Lydia is wonderful and I would suggest that you go see her. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. I went to this office hoping that I'll be able to get help with my weiht loss unfortunately they couldn't help me. I decided to write this review which is not common for me to do. I was really impressed I was unable to get help because of my high blood pressure. They had different options to offer for someone like me but person helping me insisted for me to take control of my blood pressure before I do anything else. She told me maybe my blood pressure was the reason that I can't lose weight. I'll be honest most other places would try to push more expensive treatments just to get my money but this tell you they carry about their clients and that they are honest. They told me a few times we are here to help you and that is our goal. I apologize that I don't remember names of ladies who helped me. Every experience has been phenomenal for me. The provider Lydia was very knowledgeable with her business. As well as the receptionist/medical assistants that assisted me. I mainly came in for the cryotherapy as well as the vitamin injections and they have been nothing less of fantastic. Lydia is the best at what she does, not only is she there to walk you through whatever process you choose but she is so compassionate and really wants everyone to be happy and succeed! This place is awsome! The diet program consists of a calorie counting diet plan together with a prescription drug to curb appetite and a shot of B12 to increase energy and metabolism. You go in once a month for a weigh in and consultation. The staff here is so super nice and encouraging. Lydia really treats you like family and is always genuinely happy to see me every time I go in. You can make an appointment or just walk in. They are always really quick, I'm usually in and out in 20 minutes or less. read more

This place is amazing, Dr. Grant is very nice and caring every time I go in she always makes sure too ask how I'm doing and make sure my cryotherapy sessions are amazing which they are. New Beginnings is amazing!!! NP Lydia Grant is so kind, sweet and inspirational. All of the girls in the office make me feel like I am going to check in with my girlfriends not like typical money hungry/impersonal weight loss clinics.
