I was quoted 500 dollars per peel for VI peel by a medspa near where I live but at Aesthetics last year they were $100. I only got 2/3 I had planned to get because it is quite the aggressive peel and I didn't feel a third round would suit me. The office was good about staying in touch with me between services to check on my progress and health, so very professional on them. My grandmother ended up passing away right after I had been in communication with the office about coming in for a follow up consult and they were very understanding of me canceling so quickly with no last minute cancelation cost. Fast forward I purchased a custom facial which I enjoyed from friendly esthetician. I attended the medspas babechella event and won a raffle for Morpheus 8 treatment for face and neck, three rounds. For those that don't know it's a very painful treatment and I'm someone hard to numb/sedate so much so I've woken up during 2 surgeries and usually need extra time/shots at dentist to numb. I felt silly kicking around like a dying beetle stuck on their back but their staff are incredibly patient. I had my last treatment 3/3 and was impressed by the process of scans and photos of my skin throughout the process and am eager to see the after photos once I've healed from the last treatment. I've also been getting laser hair removal and am pleased with the speed of the service as well as the results. The pain of the laser hair removal is nothing compared to Morpheus 8, I compare it to being splashed by bacon where it's uncomfortable but perfectly tolerable. I don't even ask for numbing for the laser hair removal like I do for Morpheus which they do try to accommodate but like I said I'm hard to numb. The nurse who's performed my services also made a great call having me reschedule one day that I came in and my skin got a bad reaction to the numbing because she was afraid of me getting hyperpigmentation if I continued. I was happy with her patience and honesty of making the best call for my benefit. With their August specials I've taken advantage of current deals and booked more services for upcoming weeks and will be a repeat customer. I ended up with a full syringe of Versa Lips, and toxins for my forehead, elevens (highly affected area for me) & chin dimpling (highly affected area for for me) , & it's called a "sprinkle" of Raidesse it's not a full syringe it's .5 or less I don't remember what she said just that it was a smaller amount in my chin (my chin slightly goes in and has not much projection aligning with my lips) & WOW I look immediately better, I've experienced with lips before and always have good results but to me I'm such a such a weenie hut jr when it comes to pain & needles I'll sit there and take the pain because beauty is pain duh but out of all the times I got my lips done this time did NOT hurt usually my eyes just automatically tear up but not once did they. I forgot the name of their numbing cream but the one they carry works well I was surprised but of course pleased with the entire experience start to finish. I added on more work when I was there but I did originally only come for the specials lips & tox. Added more tox to chin and did small amount of radiesse for chin. I plan on coming back in a few weeks for Sculptra as my face has lost some volume and I would like to correct now before it gets any deeper I'll be back in a few weeks! Also I already have lips naturally so personally I love my lo results after the swelling has gone down usually for me that can take 4-6 days in my personal experience! She was the only positive part of my experience. I noticed they now have a different nurse doing the Botox injections, Nicholas Prasad, and I could tell right away that he seemed very inexperienced. I have had Botox multiple times before, so I know what to expect, and this experience was nothing like my previous ones. The injections were surprisingly painful -- much more than they should have been. Botox usually feels like a tiny pinch with little to no discomfort, but this was not the case at all. What made the appointment even worse was how uncomfortable and insulting his comments were. He asked what body mist I was wearing, and when I told him Victoria's Secret Pear Glacé, instead of simply saying thank you or moving on, he told me it smelled like what his mother wore when he was a child. Such an odd and unnecessary thing to say. Then, while injecting between my eyebrows, he said, "Oh my God, your skin is so thick," and even added that I had bent the needle because of it. He continued by saying my skin was strange. I cannot express enough how humiliating and uncomfortable that made me feel. As a 40-year-old woman going in for Botox, I am there to feel more confident and better about myself -- not to be criticized and made self-conscious about my appearance while I am literally lying in the chair.
