In that time they found a way to do 3 different inspections and then act like they know how the property was provided to us two years prior. Blamed us for stuff with no explanation or even providing the move out inspection prior to assessing charges. The owner is rude and snarky when asking for an explanation and I'm pretty convinced they fake their work invoices since they refused to provide anything more than an unsigned proposal for painting. They also charged us for a storm door repair when the house has no storm door, and refused to clarify that one too after asking multiple times. Can't prove it but has sketchy written all over it. We didn't agree to live in one of their properties just got screwed at the end of our lease. If you have the choice, do not rent from their properties. Unnecessary headache and stress.

When it came time to move out his wife lost her mind, and was screaming and swearing about the behind the fridge having some dust. The management company, who had previously signed off on us doing a great job cleaning, and said we would get out deposit back, was there, Melissa who works for that company had recently been trolling me about the move out and that she wanted my rug (weird), and laughed at the landlords wife lost it like a petulant child. Melissa sent me a series of last min texts saying they needed to get in to do an inspection within the day (illegal, legally you need two days notice, then freaked out and said her husband has his face slammed in the door- spoiler, it was not slammed in his face, just another example of the crazy). I spoke to the owner, who I knew from mutual activities,and she refused to help. Stay away. They are absolutely crazy and corrupt. We did not get our security deposit back, also illegal for normal living in a place. We paid $400 in cleaning to make sure it was in great condition when we moved out. Just a nightmare

Frustration had reached a high and fed up with the deterioration of our neighborhood we got the City folks involved in our clean up effort. We also gave Management Services an opportunity to solve the problems their tenants were creating with garbage piles and trash/recycle bins not being returned to units after they were emptied. We're pleased to say that with everyone working together, the majority of the problems have been rectified. The City sent out letters reminding people of proper trash handling and the necessity of getting trash and recycle bins out of the roadway when emptied. Management Services has someone in the area regularly keeping an eye on things. Our neighborhood is looking so much better. We still have a few people who just don't get it, but we now have confidence that Management Services will continue to educate their tenants and that the City Solid Waste Manager, David Cox will be keeping an eye on our neighborhood. We even paid the last month rent rather than letting our deposit go for that; that was a mistake. I thought they would be fair and honest but I've learned that when someone has your money (especially over $1,000) they do NOT want to give it back to you. Tyson charged us $136 for replacement blinds! They had the ILLEGAL blinds with cords and they were old and rotten. They charged us for "missing" light bulbs; we removed all the CFL bulbs when we moved in, replacing them with LED bulbs. When we moved out we replaced our LED bulbs with their CFL bulbs. They charged us $150 cleaning fee when we left it squeaky clean! They charged us $250+ to replace a 3' square of cheap vinyl in the laundry room. They charged us $46 to replace a florescent bulb on the kitchen ceiling - 12' up! Management companies SUCK.
