They are all about building relationships with each other and helping all the attendees find and follow Jesus. What I enjoy most about our pastors is that they teach directly out of the Bible and also use other reliable resources to back up what the Bible is telling us. Everyone is welcome! And the church always has Some sort of gathering whether it be Study Groups, Church Camps, Parents Night out, Woman's Tea Parties or PotLucks. So why not head over to Evergreen? We'd been to a couple of their Christmas services and we miss going to a big church, so this fit the bill. The worship music was awesome and the new pastor is young and funny. He's not as good as my pastor to be honest, but he's good and has a lot of energy. I like how they have both self-serve coffee and baristas so you can purchase a customized drink. Plus they serve pastries from The Bread Peddler, which is the best. We went to the service at noon and there was enough parking, even during service so it was nice and easy.

They are not accommodating to handicapped. They were groups of people standing in the handicapped…read moreparking spots and ignoring cars. I had to honk to get them to move. They acted irritated they had to move out of the parking spots, although there was a huge empty walk way right there. Then they stood back in the parking lot with in inches of my car as soon as we were out of the car. The school age kids group was not welcoming. The lady signing kids in was ignoring us and on her phone scrolling. She called after us without looking up from her phone as we were leaving. The Kindergarten class has a nice teacher, she was sweet and hence the one star. People where critical and no one helped us but had so many people look at us and judge us. I just hope new people don't go here. If I thought this place represented Jesus I wouldn't go to church again. We will keep looking.

Pastor James Starr has a real God given gift for teaching the Bible and he does so in a way that everyone can relate to. This church doesn't make you feel bad if you can't give a tithe and the focus is always on teaching, giving back to the community and helping those in need. They do fundraisers and give to needy families. There is a very palpable sense of sincerity and love from the members.
