The only good thing about this place was the cute little Chinese man who tried to make a cup of tea for us. The very large, overweight, sloppy and lazy waitress handed me a glass of hot water with the tea leaves floating in the top! Really? It was 8:30 and the lame excuse was that the tea shuts down at 6pm. On a Saturday night?? Really. Lazy, lazy, lazy us all I can say!

What do you expect it's a Chinese buffet. If you want fresh food you can always request it. Not the best but pretty good.

The food isn't terrible, considering this is something exotic for Del Rio. We phoned in a take-out order for Thai Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Gai (spicy chicken soup), and Tom Yum Koong (spicy shrimp soup). The 4 Thai spring rolls were fried crispy with a savory meat filling and came with two different dipping sauces and a side salad. The Tom Yum soups (Gai and Koong) were a nice blend of savory tanginess but not as spicy as we requested (Thai spicy). The two soup dishes were just that, soup, with no rice or noodles. While the menu does list these dishes as soups a note to diners offering an option of adding rice or noodles to go with the soup would be nice. We went back to order sides of noodles to go with the soup which cost an extra $3.00 each on top of the $10.95 and $12.95 we paid for just the broth, some meat and mushrooms. Take-out service was okay, and with the exception of having to order extra items to make our dishes complete, this was a nice change but nothing that would compete with our usual go to's for Thai food.
