I visited this church in February 2025 over valentines day weekend. My wife and I were staying at a hotel nearby, and I noticed that this was no longer he United Methodist Church. But something else. This seems to be a young church a lot of young people and a lot of children. The worship was simple and stripped down. People were very friendly. This church seems to be trying to thead the needle between orthodoxy and being welcoming and accepting of all. The sermon that morning was a comparison between the sacrament of communiion and passover. It was team taught. Where a messianic jew was interviewed and discussed the differences, and lead by two other people. It made and impression on me. In that the style of interview as a form of teaching. I hadn't seen in a church before, and probably that was the most effective way to talk about the subject. My wife and I left witha positiive impression, and we prayerfully hope that this church and the minestries it supports grown and contribute to the Kingdom of God. read more
