I wouldn't use them. I did some comparisons with other companies but since I knew and talked to three other people who used them and recommended them, I went with Amish Garages. Looking back, I think these acquaintances just were unfamiliar with what a good construction job is. And the price was about the same as the others. The first issue I ran into was they said since I signed my contract in mid April they said "It would probably be July" when the actual job would start. It didn't. Nor did it start in August....or September...or October. This company works in silos: the salesperson has nothing to do with the actual garage going up. Once you give him your money, you will not hear from him anymore, unless, like me, you have problems. He was responsive but he makes it clear that you now have to call someone ELSE when it comes to the actual build. To be fair, they DID offer to start the job in September (the 13th), but they only gave 1 day advance notice and that happened to be the day I was flying to Germany on vacation. That's ONE of the problems with this company: NO advance notice. I figured they would just start when I got back a few days later. I didn't hear from them again until NOVEMBER. The Builder told me on a Tuesday they would be out "Thursday or Friday" to start the demo. I got busy taking things off the old garage I wanted that next day to, and Surprise! They came out EARLY to do the demo....while I was working. They waited while I rushed to get the stuff off of the old garage before they started their demo. BTW, this crew wasn't Amish. Another crew came out a few days later....with NO advance notice, to remove the pad. They weren't Amish either. Another crew came out to pour the pad. No advance notice either. They weren't Amish either. They didn't start the build until November 2nd. I was informed that they would be out that day by the builder (who MAY have been Amish, but since you will never meet him. you'll never know) at 7:45AM! When I asked him WHEN that day they would be out, he told me between 7:45AM and 8:00AM, lol. Yes...he gave me approximately 15 minutes advance notice they would be out that day to build the garage. And finally, I got to see some Amish people. They did a pretty good job but in all I would say they build it a cheaply as possible. They don't even put a drip edge on the roof. For the most part that was MY fault for not THOROUGHLY reviewing the Specs, but the document for that is a copy of a copy of a copy and you can barely read it. When it was done I gave it a high level inspection before they left but missed where they drove a roofing nail right through a piece of aluminum trim (refer to picture) to where the end of the nail is clearly visible. I let the builder know on November 9 about the mistake. To date I have not heard from him or the salesperson. read more

This "company" is a joke! We got a quote for them in November. They said they would be out in early March. In the meantime time we wanted to add a door and some windows. By this time Patrick, the salesman was out of the picture and not returning calls. So next POC was Diana. She answered the phone at first but then, after a couple of calls, started to give us the runaround. We tried Michael, the next POC. He returned a couple of texts then that stopped too. He does not return text messages or calls. Around early March building materials started to appear on our driveway. No advanced notice.. then two guys came by for the teardown of the old garage again no advanced notice zero communication. Just lucky we were home. This went on a month. No communication. The concrete paid was laid without a step footer. I texted Michael that we were paying for a step footer and it wasn't one. He didn't seem to care but he would knock off $500 because they didn't cleanup. Huh? Finally one day the Amish showed up out of the blue. No schedule, no warning. Again, lucky we were home. I asked them about the windows and door. They said they could do it, but the price would be double per Michael the owner. They were friendly and professional. They built the garage in about six hours. For them I give this company one star otherwise it would be zero. The Amish are excellent builders. Just a shame we were shafted by a shifty company. read more

We got our garage built Summer of 2017. The prices they offer were so great we ended up going with them. Diane was super hard to reach out to. She was always putting us on hold when we try to figure out when our garage was next to demolish and build. It was out of their control due to rain so we understood. The garage was demolished in a day and literally build in a day. The only wait was concrete to be ready. The material they use was a little on the cheaper end and the job they have done is too quick so some small details such as side garage door is not very well stabled is now noticeable after a year. But you get what you paid for so I take the small fixable projects. The company they use for garage door is not up to our standards I wish that they work with a better partner company. They did not do a horrible job but I would rather call a legit company such as action door or another local company so if there is any problem we can reach out to. They did our electric line from house to garage not up to city so we ended up redoing it. Overall it was a-ok. Would I go for them again? Very unlikely. read more

Had contract with them done on May 7th...still haven't even started and and 0630 now...or given a start date...never once initiated a call or txt to me , to update me on the situation unless I called first..and everytime I did..was told would get answers and call back..id wait 3 days no call and I would have to call.again...horrible customer service!! read more

I hired New Creation/ Amish garage builders for a garage build and new roof. I read the reviews and even showed them to the sales rep Pat, he assured me the reviews were all false and written by competitors or disgruntled employees. No matter who the author of the reviews were I found them to be 100% accurate, believe what is written. We signed the contract in early October of 2018. After 6 weeks of absolutely no communication from them, I called Diane. Diane was pleasant at first, but as days turned into weeks her incompetence became very apparent. All I was looking for was a demo date, but she kept confusing my address with other jobs and giving me false dates. The demo began the week following Thanksgiving the process was quick but very sloppy. When pouring the new concrete pad footprints were left on the undried cement. Mud, debris, garbage, and cigarette butts were left everywhere. I reached out to Mike about my concerns. He acted as if my gripes were illegitimate. He was very unprofessional often screaming and using profanity during our conversation. My major issue with the company was the poor communication. Not once did they ever reach out to me and update on the status of my project. Mikes words exactly "if we called every customer we would never get anything done." To me that's just a poor attitude and customer service. The only time I heard from Mike is when a payment was due, the job is completed, and I have yet to meet him face to face. M. White. read more

I am a renter, and the property manager chose this company to paint our unit as well as the apartments behind ours. I was told over a week ago that our places were going to get painted. Half way through the week, I had to leave for a business trip. I was gone four days, and nothing was painted. The next morning after my return, they finally begin the painting. This after shouting at each other for about 20 minutes. And, their family shows up to bring food and drinks to the rest of the crew while two guys are painting. Mind you, the painting was already supposed to be happening. And, instead I have to hear their invited friends hang out while the slow process of painting two buildings finally begins. I have experienced having lived in a two story being professionally painted before, and it was done in a week. And, that process had utilized similar equipment but multiple colors on a historic building. So, I am having a hard time understanding how this is not done, and why a company invites friends and family to bring breakfast after a half an hour after showing up to work. It'd be a waste of your time and money. read more

Customer service is an absolute joke with this company. The actual Amish builders were amazing but the management of this company is HORRIBLE. Impossible to get a hold of, refuses to return calls. I would absolutely not recommend doing any business with them. read more

**BEWARE of The CONTRACT!!** April 30, 2021, I took New Creations Builders to court for damaging my existing driveway while building my new garage (completed July 19, 2019). The Garfield courts dismissed the charges, because New Creations Builders have a clause in their contract that states "Contractor cannot guarantee any cracks or Spalding to new or existing concrete/driveway/garage pads/asphalt, but does guarantee that he will use a gravel base.....etc. In other words, this clause in their contract allows them to damage what you and I have worked so hard to preserve and maintain and get away with it. They took no precautions to protect my existing driveway by dropping chunks of old concrete and driving heavy equipment over it causing $3000 worth of damage. If I had to build a garage again, I would NOT recommend this company. Their customer service is horrible. The owner does not return your calls. And most importantly, they do not take responsibility nor accountability for their negligence. Also keep in mind, the courts are always going to side with big business and the judicial system is such a joke when it comes to the consumers. Sincerely, Disappointed Customer read more

I purchased the materials and had a foundation ready for these individuals. They messed up cuts on most of the materials running up an extra bill of over 600$ they meet me hapf way on this after threatening with an attorney. Next problem that didn't realize until about 4 months later is they never put bracing on the trusses for my garage which is causing them to bow out wards and the front and back of the garage's siding is pushed outwards do to this. They refuse to fix this and are trying to say i took the bracing off myself. So i had the truss company come out and inspect the installation of the trusses which they found numerous issues. I have to have another contractor come out and pull out the bowed trusses and replace them due to this so i am currently sueing them. Also the address listed on the contracts is false courts tried delivering papers and failed due to this. Its escalating to a balift summons atm. In short i do not recommend using this company at all. They dont own their mistakes and right them they try to blame you for said issues, they will run up additional costs that are outside of the agreed upon amount and obviously they dont follow truss companies installation rules and just do what ever they want with no regard to what may happen in the future. read more

Talks a good game but is nothing but problems. They built our garage under the name of New Creation Builders. We have many complaints but they do not respond or they talk trash to us. Then they changed the name of the company. Be very careful. If you do use them for your garage you should watch the Amish workers with the nail guns to make sure they actually hit some of the studs (no kidding). Lots and lots of problems. read more

We had our garage doors reframed and done in November of 2017 by this company. The company "fix it today" garage doors did the door itself and the automatic door opener, which both are the same company. First of all....they didn't put all the bolts in the garage door opener, only 2 of 4. Also the door was only braced fully on ONE side. We only opened this door probably 5-10 times because It was winter. So this spring....april 22...we opened it to take stuff out to put in the yard. And when I went to close it...the whole door FOLDED INTO a V!!! Complete garbage now. And the lady diane. ..told me that her son Keith owned the company and passed away but she said there's nothing they can do about it because theres only a 90 day warranty. So your telling me...5 months later...the door falls apart and breaks....and it's not their fault????? Wow!!!! I had another company look at the door...and they said it wasnt installed correctly and was missing bolts and support brackets and the door opener was installed incorrectly too. Plus while doing the job my brand new generator came up missing and of course they didn't know anything about that either. Now I'm stuck spending $1000 to fix their mistake and I'm out a generator too. I WOULD NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! And whoever does...BEWARE!!!! They will RIP you off...and not feel bad at all!!!! True piece of garage company!!! read more
