I've never had a massage in a mall. Person I was with had suggested it. I'm glad she did this place is amazing. We both got a 40 minute oil massage. Man did they work the kinks out of me. I felt great after having it done, little sore the next day but that's to be expected. No pain no gain. The staff was very friendly! The prices were also very reasonable. If this place was closer to where I lived I'd be there once a week. read more

DANGEROUS Not licensed for adjustments They physically Hurt me!!! it Was supposed to be simple chair massage. before I knew what he was doing he twisted my back and pulled my arms. i had to go to the doctor the next day. Apparently he has sprained my shoulder at the very least. I am waiting on an MRI but must neurosurgeon believes I now have a pinched nerve in my neck that will require injections. SO MUCH PAIN. He never asked if he should attempt to adjust my back nor did he ask if I had back issues. Im waiting on a back fusion on my lumbar area which is why I wasn't there to get that massaged. He could have really hurt me so much more!! There's no point getting into a legal battle since all my medical is covered thru The VA. The next person must also know! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The lady I had doing my massage was terrible. She was using sooooo much pressure and I kept telling her SOFTER but she didn't listen. This evening (24 hrs later) I noticed physical bruises on my back from her!!! Stay away from this place and trust a licensed massage professional!!! read more

I was worried about this place based on previous reviews... but the relaxing music inside seemed to drown out most of the noise from the surrounding mall and adjacent ice rink. The massage was decent, a little fast paced for my personal liking, but all around pretty good. read more

I've stopped here a couple of times now for a foot massage. Out of the local options this is the best I have run across. The price is much more than the place I used to go to in Cedar Rapids but that place no longer offers the foot massage and New Dragon has a decent 45 minute foot massage. It is right across from the ice skating rink in the mall so you will have noise to disrupt the relaxation. They will try to make up for it and the bright mall glare by placing a nice warm towel across your eyes but it's hard to drown out the mall. Other than the distraction of the mall, the experience is exactly what it should be. Comfortable chair, a warm foot soak, followed by a massage. No complaints. They do a good job with the limitations they are under. read more

I generally really enjoy their massages. However, this last time I was quoted a time and it was at least 20 minutes past the time quoted. I sat and watched as they told large groups of six and three etc... that it would be 40 minutes when even I knew that wasn't going to happen. I wouldn't have waited if I had known how long it really was going to be. I was 9 months pregnant and my weekly massages were the thing I looked forward to every week due to swelling in my legs. When I asked how long it was going to be another customer told me, "To get the f*** outta here!" He proceeded to call me names. It was absolutely ridiculous. If I didn't have one more massage certificate to use, I would not be going back. read more

If you like deep tissue massage this is the place. I came in very tight with knotted muscles and left relaxed and feeling great. I had the chair and foot massage. I was so relaxed I fell asleep at the end. Timmy did my massage. read more

I chose the 1 hour foot massage, it was absolutely wonderful, the place was very clean, the only complaint I have and the only reason I gave a 4 star rating and not a 5 star is the location is close to the Food Court and the Children's Museum and it was very noisy so they tried to compensate with loud piano spa music, it just doesn't fit with massage therapy, I wasn't as relaxed as I could have been with kids screaming and running but other than that it was a great treatment for $52. Outstanding treatment, very reasonably priced; clean and well appointed rooms. The male therapist was professional and strong, and very skilled in the tradition of Chinese acupressure. The therapist will work as strongly or lightly as client requests. I went for extremely severe chronic upper back and neck pain that cause acute headaches, and came out after a one-hour treatment feeling like a different person.
