I was absolutely frantic trying to find a daycare for her. I sent a message to mcgrupps, and got an almost immediate response from the owner, Megan. She walked me through the steps of what I would need to do in order to board my pup and got me in very quickly to do an assessment. My dog is very anxious and Megan and the staff knew exactly how to handle her. They answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease about leaving my dog for the first time. While I was away, the wonderful staff posted pictures of my dog every day on Instagram so that I could see what she was up to, which made me feel so much more at ease. I even called for an update a couple of times (crazy dog mom, i know) and the staff were so kind and took her time to talk to me about my girl. When I came to pick her up, she was bathed and ready to go. Being at the daycare, I can see that Lexi has opened up and made tons of friends. She didn't even need her anxiety medication because of how well she was taken care of. She is extremely accommodating if you have an emergency need, as well. Just be upfront with the owner if you need your dog back by a certain time. She is a very nice person and truly enjoys what she does. Update 2017. I have switched groomers. After numerous years taking my dog here, the owner took an absolute nutty on me. The problem, she takes toooooo many dogs at once and tries to accommodate everyone. However, it's not right to keep a dog 7 plus hours and keep a customer waiting, and then yell at them when they come to pick up the dog at the time your told to and then get angry at you because your frustrated that the dog still isn't ready. I could never go back after being treated so badly. I was a loyal customer for 5 plus years. She was good to my dog, but her abuse towards me was unacceptable. She desperately needs some time off and to stop over bookings. It doesn't help anyone. Unfortunately the groomer is not being honest in their response to my comments. Again, there is no excuse for the owner to scream and yell at a longstanding customer because she overbooks and keeps dogs and their owners waiting 7+ hours. She works very hard, and loves the dogs, but this behavior is a result of her being burnt out. It was very uncalled for and disturbing.

Junior was incorrigible terrible on a leash dog aggressive we took him here & met Mike Citro the owner & trainer we were hoping for the best but honestly didn't expect much as we had brought him other places with absolutely no results. 1 on 1 training day care twice a week then classes he was a new dog. He went from tearing our arms off on the leash to being a good citizen dog Mike was like the dog whisperer for us. Now our 2nd is Dritte he went last week for a meet & greet & tonight for our 1st 1 on 1 session & between what he taught us @ meet & greet & tonight's session we've already seen results. Mike knows his stuff he basically trains us & the dog. Dritte loved class & will be @ daycare tomorrow we're gonna do same formula as with Junior except much earlier as Dritte is a little over 5 months old & Junior was 2 1/2 years old due to wasting time & money on useless trainers. I couldn't recommend Mike Citro & Bay State Canine any higher I'd give 10 stars if I could he saved our Junior & I can't wait for Dritte to learn also.
