Really would not recommend this place to anyone. Especially during Covid they are putting people on a waitlist for literally 2 months... I went here for like 6 years, my mom did too, and my friend. None of us agreed it was helpful in the slightest. Psychiatrists will try random meds and when I finally went somewhere else, my new doctor was pretty astonished by their practice. If you are a woman I highly recommend Women's Counseling of Nashua. They got me in quick and I love my provider. Edit: I wanted to add that Dr. Natalie was always very kind and supportive of me. Although my medications did not work for me, I believe she was trying her best. Never cancelled on me and always made time for me. I believe she is probably the best provider there if you choose to go. I do not fault her entirely because it is difficult to treat PTSD with medications and it is more so therapy based. But Dr. Kamireddi did not treat my friend with BPD nicely. And when my mom who was prescribed Adderall for her ADD (and was on it for years) met with her the first time she took away her prescription. So I would say go with Natalie if you do choose to go here. read more

They cannot keep staff(therapists) to save their lives. My now 17yo daughter was in crisis 2 years ago. Got booked with an incredible NP treater, he did a full eval AND LEFT THE NEXT DAY (why they booked a new patient with a provider who was out the door is beyond me). Got transferred to another provider (who was great). BUT she left earlier this year (we were not notified, she told us at our scheduled f/u visit -she was surprised we didn't know). Switched to ANOTHER provider, saw her once, and had a f/u appt for TODAY. DId not get the link to the appointment, so called, SHE LEFT IN AUGUST. They insist they sent a letter (have yet to receive one from this place). Praying my daughter (who is stable and doing well w/ a therapist elsewhere, just needing these people to write for her meds) can just get her stupid antidep from her pediatrician. This is just ridiculous. read more

I'm updating my previous review. They seem to have a better system in place and staff to help with prescription management, so that has improved. I'm still only at 3 stars because their message still states a 72 business hour turnaround for prescriptions, and that's still too long...so if you call on a wednesday, the script might not get processed until monday. If I knew how to give a zero star review I would. Dr. Kamireddy is a pathetic excuse for a doctor. She is not interested in her patients well being or helping them better understand the chemical processes that help make up their emotions, only on making money. Today at my appointment she equated getting mental health treatment to plastic surgery, saying that if you can't pay for it don't do it. Look at other reviews for this place, they make you wait forever, unresponsive to emails or phone calls, and this lady is just darn mean. Not to mention she isn't respected among therapists and other mental health professionals, one of them openly referred to her practice as "a money making medication factory". When I started here, I gave five stars. Then I gave two stars when I was told via text that my apts would be cancelled for a few weeks without reason. Eventually they called me on the phone which was the professional action to take. am giving this place 3 stars for the following reasons. 1. My counselor is very good. She got right to work on day one and does a great job. 1. The psychiatrist I have is a very kind and listening person. That is always an important thing. My issues with this office is that they sent me a letter in the mail saying I missed a recent appointment I attended. Also, a few times there was confusion with the np regarding doseages and where medications were sent. It all worked out after I contacted them. I really do wish I was in a place to give them five stars and understand the comments of others on here. read more

I only give the New England center a 3 star because Patricia Jackson and Shannon Grove are phenomenal. There commmunication system I give a zero star. I have called 3 times to get a med called into my pharmacy. I have not received a call back or the med has not been called in. They have no problem charging a fee if you need a same day refill. read more

If, however you DO want an appointment here I suggest the following: 1) Do not question ANY of their appointment policies. 2) They value their time more than yours. Be sure to show them your reverence. 3) Do not assume they want to care for your loved one. 4) Be prepared to to pay $75 for an appointment fee because "demand for appointments with us is very high" 5) Be prepared to keep your mouth shut if you have any open ended questions while making an appointment. My family had a TERRIBLE experience with this business. If you are a drone and you do not ask any questions you will be just fine. My daughter had an appointment and when she arrived, they told her the appointment had been cancelled because of an outstanding balance on a previous missed appointment. When she asked what the outstanding balance was, they looked and ...oops... it had already been taken care of. They turned her away because they had canceled the appointment. Now we are getting billed for $75 for missing the appointment that they canceled! She was *in the office* and turned away!! They are denying that she was ever there. It is very very difficult to find mental health providers. We feel "stuck" here as we cannot find another provider in the area that is taking new appointments. read more

I give this place a three stars due to the efficiency and hard work done by the counselor I see there. I have had some issues with consistency in prescribing medications with the medication provider. There have been times where I have had to call and check to make sure medication was sent to the correct pharmacy and there was a time when my medication was ordered incorrectly for the incorrect dosage. In addition, I received a letter from them saying I didn't attend an appointment recently that I actually did attend. There needs to be some accountability regarding accuracy and letters with false information should never be sent out especially from a professional organization. I hope that patient experience improves from here on out as well as the conduct of the front desk staff. read more

I wish there was a way to give this place ZERO stars. Only because there is such a shortage of mental health providers did I decide to go here. From day 1, when I walked in the door suffering from severe depression, I was asked if I "prefer a medicated or non-medicated approach." My response was "I have no clue, isn't that what you're supposed to help me figure out?" I hadn't left my house in days, and they are then telling me that it could be 30 days for an appointment for medicated therapy, but unmedicated could take three months to get an appointment. Then they told me to go home, call, leave a message on the intake line, and someone will call me back in 72 hours. I WAS RIGHT THERE BEGGING FOR HELP AND THEY TURNED ME AWAY! Once I finally got appointments lined up, they completely overcharged me and I had to work with their office management to get that cleared up. Then they ordered improper bloodwork and had to send me back with a corrected order for which they expected me to pay for 2 sets of labs. I had to fight with them about that, too. Then we finally hit a nice rhythm, until they call to cancel my August appointment. They wanted to reschedule for the following week, but I told them I'd be out of town on vacation. They had the nerve to ask "so are you sure you can't come in that week?" I insisted I could not since I'd be OUT OF TOWN ON VACATION. When I asked if I could come in the following week, they said no because my doctor was going on maternity leave, and then leaving the practice. I have had enough. I'm now searching for a new provider but it's not easy. I asked them to fill my 90-day SSRI scrip one last time and they said NO! They'll only do a 30 day but guess what? I'm on maintenance doses now, so my insurance will only cover 90 days, not 30! This place is the LAST place you want to go if you're battling any mental health issues because they do more to exacerbate the issues than the do to solve them. read more

Should have listened to the reviews...but I figured I could make it through a basic appointment to do a review/refill of an antidepressant and anti-anxiety I had from a previous psychiatrist. Not worth it. The psychiatrist made me feel worse about my life, insulted the therapist that I had a great rapport with and is a highly respected professional in the field, didn't have tissues, was pushing for therapy which is not really appropriate or called for in my case, and ended up saying that I would need to visit again in 2 weeks, and then 2 weeks, and then every 2 months, until the end of time, just for a prescription for Prozac. Are they kidding? And she was not intelligent enough to realize that she had not established any semblance of rapport, and that there was no way I was actually going to return. What a joke. At least I have worked with enough great therapists to know what it is supposed to look like and I could walk away, without subjecting my mental health to further damage. I feel really badly for those who don't know that it shouldn't be like this. For those that are interested in the Ketamine therapy, it is $3000 for 6 visits. Which is way outside my ability to pay. When I tried to end the phone conversation the guy tried to argue with me about it. Really? Because someone who is depressed enough to reach out for an alternative therapy needs the 'used car salesman' line? I have done my research, ketamine may work...and it may not. The guy also wanted to argue the published literature--available publicly in peer reviewed publish--by saying "WE have like an 80% rate of effectiveness." Gosh golly, here take my $3000 and I will ignore all the scientific research in favor of your off-the-top-of-your-head statistics. Truly pathetic. On a nice note, the lobby of the building (not the office, but the larger building) is very nice. On a terrible note, when you leave a message to schedule a first time appointment be warned that they may take up to 72 BUSINESS HOURS to return your phone call. Which is an entire week! read more

I walked out! First appointment with the NP and we waited an hour. I let that slide despite all the rearranging I had to do in our schedule to accommodate the NP. I specifically asked at the second appointment if the NP was running late again. I was told no and it was pointed out to me that the NP was at the copy machine behind reception. She went into her office without acknowledging us. 20 minutes waiting and nothing. As a mental health professional, I find this totally unacceptable and, frankly, quite dismissive. So much for therapeutic rapport! We won't be back and can't recommend this place for mental health care. Addendum. I did get a nice call from the office manager apologizing and offering another NP, which I declined. The NP who saw us the one time spoke with my child's therapist days after we walked out and the therapist hadn't yet heard from us about what happened. The NP totally mixed up her patients and told the therapist that she prescribed medication following my child's hospitalization. My child was never hospitalized nor did she even mention medication except melatonin for sleep and blood work. Scary stuff! read more

They have saved my life over the past 3 years. In addition, they provide cutting-edge therapies within the constraints of regulatory and/or FDA requirements. This office would be so much better with a manager who cares about people and front office staff with any amount of interest or empathy. Rarely are we greeted with a friendly hello, just "insurance card" then glass closed. My daughter likes her provider but it's not worth going for the rude interactions with the rest of the office. Additionally it's difficult to contact providers, and rarely called back when we've even left messages for providers secretaries. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming environment for yourself or children, certainly look elsewhere. read more

Stay as far away from this place as possible. Reluctantly, after many years of seeing my provider here, my mental health cannot take the complete disregard for patients concerns. To start over somewhere new is a huge undertaking. All they are concerned about is how many patients they can bring in and out in order to collect the most money! The clinical staff here is very good - very professional and helpful when you can see them. Unfortunately, the office staff is abysmal as well as the organization of the center. There is no way to contact the clinical staff even by email. Prescriptons remains unfilled for weeks with no one returning calls. Best of all, she doesn't simply prescribe medication at me; she takes the time to listen to what I am working on in therapy and suggest coping skills. Absolutely the worst....I would give it no stars if I could. Waited 3 months for an appointment after endless phone tag and leaving messages that are NEVER returned. I had been a patient a few years earlier and they had no record of ever seeing me. I waited a few weeks before I was finally " approved" for an appointment. A road block on for 45 minutes on 495 made me 10 minutes late (I had left plenty of time to get there a half hour early) You guessed it, they refused to take me even for a shortened appointment and said I would have to wait another 3 months. I did call from the road and they said that everyone was late due to the traffic occurrence and to come anyways. When I got there ti was a different story. Don't waste your time....there are plenty of efficiently run Mental Health Facilities in Massachusetts. read more

Was also frustrated with her core ability and competency as a doctor. Overall, they are very profit driven, and more concerned about their business interests. I put up with all the crap because my provider is outstanding. The nursing assistants are also great. But the front desk is absolutely appalling. I've been going there for 5+ years now and I'm sick and tired of how disorganized and unprofessional 99% of the people who work in the office are. This place has changed so much since they moved from Littleton to Acton. The girls and support staff at the front desk are rude & have no manners. They answer the phone and you can tell they're miserable. If you call and ask for a refill of your medications, they tell you its going to be 48-72 hours. If you need them sooner and put in an urgent request, it costs $25. That was never the case when the facility was in Littleton. It seems as if when they moved locations they stopped caring about their patients and are just in it for the money. Please do not waste your time here, I do not recommend it. read more

I would not recommend this practice. The professional that my eight year old saw was unhelpful at best and arguably incompetent. We will not be back. I was also told by a receptionist that because they are a private practice, their medical director, Dr. Camaretti, can make any rules she/ he wants. I have been working at this practice as a medical assistant for a year now and it has been the best practice I have ever worked for. From the front office to the managers we all work as a cohesive unit and make it so the patients have a smooth transition from the first intake appointment to all future visits. The managers are great and are always making sure the staff are happy and taken care of. If you want to work for a place that treats you more like family than an employee, then I recommend applying for employment here. read more

All they care about is money not the patients. Went when I was 18 and the woman I saw was super pushy with pills and medication. I'd tell her I'm feeling alittle better and her response was always ok then let's try another medication, instead of letting the current one fully kick in, since meds can take weeks to work fully. Went back now that I'm 25 and they make you make an appointment every month to check up on how the meds are working, and if you don't they won't refill the prescription. I called and called to get my depression medication refilled because I was completely out of it due to them closing before I could call on that Friday, and they told me I had to pay $25 extra to get my meds that same day. Ok you money hungry people thank you for caring about your patience mental health. Wouldn't recommend going here to anyone. Lots of phone tag for very little help and lots of money. read more

I have really enjoyed their no pressure attitude. Last year at this time we weren't quite ready to talk medication for our son. We went back this year after taking a year to full investigate our options. NECMH answered all our questions, spoke to us about where they thought we should go from here and let us make the final decision that was best for our child. It does take awhile to get an appointment and they do have a very rigid missed appointment policy, but it's for good reason, and you sign a form saying you understand their policy. read more

If you could give this place zero stars, I would. I started going here a little over a year ago. I was seeing one psychiatrist who decided to leave the practice but was rest assured that my records would be given to the new psychiatrist that this one would recommended I see knowing my situation etc. First, I waited an hour to see the new doctor. Secondly, my records were not reviewed prior to seeing me, therefore I had to start all over again. Thirdly, they knew I was in a bad position financially and ended up kicking me out of the practice due to the amount of copays charged. They are refusing to prescribe my meds and now want me to, get this, pay for MY medical records. I cannot find another psychiatrist now and have no idea how I am going to get my meds. Not happy with this facility. They do not care about their patients and their time. They only care about their time and the money. read more

I would not recommend this practice at all. I recently was making a big medication change and when I started to have some issues, my provider was totally unavailable, I could only speak with the nurse, no appointment could be made for 30 days, and I was told there was nothing that could be done. There is no wiggle room in the schedule for appointments. During this change my provider had to cancel an appointment for a sick reason and I was offered to see her 30 days later. If you have any issues they tell you to go to ER. Outside of a scheduled appointment, providers are completely unavailable to patients. read more

Great place to go if you want to be treated like crap every time you go. The front staff are rude and inconsiderate on the phone as well as in person. Whenever I went there before covid hit, the front end staff would be chatting with their backs to the window or on their cell phones. When you do talk to them they act like it's a problem for them. Guess what "It's your job ladies" Grow up and act like an adult. The one girl who's name starts with J, is the worst of them all, thinking she is gods gift to the world. Guess what, your not! Management needs to do a better job finding quality people to work there since the turnover this year alone is ridiculous. Management needs to pay closer attention to the staff and what they do while getting paid. They lost a lot of good staff and it shows.They had two good NPs, P. Jackson and G.Piandes and they both left because of the management changes. In the past year they also lost two good MAs Autumn and Heidi, that was a big mistake as aside from the providers they were the best part of the office. There is such a shortage of mental health providers, we are stuck here for now. As soon as we come up on a waitlist elsewhere we are gone. Read all the reviews on yelp before you starting going here. It is a horribly run practice. Besides my own lack luster experiences, I've noticed there are new secretaries every time my daughter has an appointment. It doesn't say much for a company when there is that type of turnover. When this practice was in Littleton it was easier to reach nursing and practioners. Not great but definitely better than it is now. They say 48-72 hours for a refill. That's if you're one of the lucky ones. There is no sense of urgency with any of the staff members to accomplish any request. When I leave messages either directly or on voice mail I am very exact and concise in what I need. Very rarely does a complete and/or correct message get relayed to the person it is directed to. My daughter has counseling there and the person consistently comes out to get her 10-15 minutes after her appointment time was to have started and they always finish 10 minutes on the nose before the hour is up. They are money-grubbing and will not waive missed appointment fees even when the error was made by them. I was given two fees and I proved it was their error. I spoke with the front desk girl who relayed my message to billing. I asked if I could speak with them. The receptionist came back out and told me as a courtesy they would waive one of them. Wrong, wrong, wrong. But it doesn't matter. If you don't pay it they will drop you from the practice. And rather than have a direct conversation with me they had the poor receptionist go back and forth with messages. Unprofessional to say the least. Their voice mail says you can call the answering service for emergency medication refills. We called on Monday for a routine refill, plus a few times during the week because we've learned there is a severe lack of communication in this office, and were told Friday it would be called in before they closed. Despite two more phone calls that day the medicine was still not called in. I called the emergency after hours line and the answering service said there is a big note on their computers not to page the on call provider for medication refills. I told the person it says on their voice mail to do this if needed. She apologized and refused. Not her fault. Now my daughter is without her medication for two days and that's assuming they call it in on Monday. People cannot go without these types of medications!! They need a consistent level in their system for it to work properly. And 5 business days to accomplish a routine refill is beyond poor service. I also want to mention when you call there you almost always are placed on endless hold waiting for them to get back to you and then again when they try to figure out how to help you. I have screen shots from my cell phone showing 30 + minute waits on more than one occasion. And yes, for those of you who are wondering, I do plan on taking corrective action regarding my situation and not just complain on here. read more

Every time I called, I was in an endless loop and never got a live person on the phone. Oh! they have some online way to communicate via instant message, But NO ONE responds. Such a sloppy practice here. They were good a few years ago but the quality of service and helpfulness has really deteriorated. The therapists really seem like they could care less about their patients and the nurses that manage the refill line are either bored or annoyed when you call. The place has a revolving door when it comes to their staff. Can't seem to keep anyone long term. Avoid this place if you can.
