As a graphic designer I'd already gotten everything laid out for them on a USB drive (and called in advance) but they basically dropped whatever else was going on in order to get it done within the hour. Everyone there was both friendly and polite for every step of the way. While I was there they even offered some of their own seating*, which I declined, but was a friendly gesture. The print quality of the poster was excellent, with near perfect color accuracy, and lastly they didn't charge a rush fee (which I was fully prepared to accept). *The aspect would be one area for obvious improvement at this location was the interior space: It feels pretty barebones in terms of comfort and presentation, and I was surprised that they haven't leveraged their printing capabilities to bring in a little color into the space. A few poster examples framed on the walls, an interesting banner perhaps, along with a simple but comfortable bench in the front would give a more "established" first impression. That said, it's the quality and service that counts most, and on those counts they are solid.

According to the owner of Duchin Producations, the upload cost reflected 4 hours of "work" that he charged at $185/hour. Really? To watch computer files upload files to Dropbox? Wow. Then the owner insisted on payment in advance and would not start the upload until the payment was received and cleared. This added a $50 credit card service fee to our bill. Bottom line: We were willing to pay all this extra cost to resolve the total headache the owner gave us for getting this job done. Hopefully this info about our experience helps others avoid such a bad experience.

When my package was sent to the UPS "Fraud Department" due to a glitch in the UPS system (their computer issued 2 receipts for the same package: one for shipping the package and another for payment), Nick stalled for months. Even though the Fraud Dept told me they had the package and it was safe, that they just needed confirmation from the store manager, UPS eventually lost the package. Nick then told me UPS acknowledged that the loss was their fault and would issue a full refund for the contents of the package, even though the package was not insured. I didn't hear back from Nick for almost 2 months. When I stopped by the store, Nick told me that UPS would not issue a refund, and that he was in a big "battle" with the company about it. He refused to send me copies of his correspondence, or updates of any kind and said that this was for the "protection" of UPS. He then told me he was busy and it was a lot of work to enter all the info manually... so it's not clear that he ever did anything at all to get my package back or get a refund. When I told him that this had been a terrible experience, he told me that was my "opinion". When I said I had used UPS for years, but I didn't want to go through this again, he said I had "options". I asked what they are? Nick said I could "use FedEx or USPS"! This man should NOT be in a managerial position. I had used that store for years for shipping orders for our business, but I will never go back there again.
